Walker Safe House - Lobby(#2832RAJL)
This small tenement building is a work that any interior decorator would be proud of. The building is somehow filled with light and space, despite the fact that the room is far from large. Mirrored surfaces and lush green potted plants are much in evidence - jarring only slightly with the video cameras that perch unobtrusively in various locations. A small sign on the wall lists the number of apartments upstairs as eight, though there are no names next to the apartment numbers. A very thick door leads downstairs, with no visible method of being opened - except a keypad next to it. A monitor is perched above the entrance, showing images from the hidden camera that watches the outside of the building.
The lobby branches off into what appears to be a small recreation room; for use only by residents and their guests.

The Walker safehouse gets a very prompt, very loud bang on the door.
Kaz nods tightly at Alicia; then she makes sure to check the monitors /first/, before she lets Yi in. "Yo, you."
Alicia glances over to Yi and lets out a breath. "Hey you." She says, glad to see -another- alive.
Yi doesn't look like she got much sleep, but she is nevertheless still very awake after the news reached her. "Apartment's done," she reports breathlessly, lugging a fairly large bag after her. "Nevada's out, but safe." The girl sits down heavily beside the wall once she is in.
Kaz exhales. "Good. Ain't talked to him lately to tell. Main question I got is, have you heard from Sepdet at /all/?"
Yi shakes her head, but after a thought, nods. Her answer is simple, "She's hiding. Has a... pathstone. Uh.. she sent an owl-spirit to the Bluff, but Silversc.. Salmon, we can't talk to her." She taps her head a couple of times, indicating a lack of packlink.
Alicia lets out a loud breath of relief as she slumps against the wall. "She has the pathstone.. Thank Gaia."
Yi breathes deeper in, and stands back up from the wall. "Who's left?" Her eyes manage to look up finally.
"Laura and Brigid are upstairs and healing up from their wounds. Thats all I know about the fight. Malachi is dead, and the Caern is taken over by the Spirals. No one has a fucking clue about whats going on with the higher up's. We've heard nothing from them. But right now, John has taken charge and he wants everyone -here- and the word spread real fast." Alicia says as she heads over to Yi. "Most likely, we're ganna be doing a shit load of scouting and hit and runs. That is my gut feeling at least. But, whatever they come up with."
Yi clenches a fist, jaw working hard. After a string of muttered foreign curses, she nods. "So much for the hospital..."
Alicia coughs out a soft laugh. "Things don't look so good for our hero's eh'? I told Tom to get the first plane outta here and go back to his parents." She gives a slight grin. "I hope I see him again."
Yi blinks at that. Her eyes immediately narrow in thought as she scans her mind. "Have the other kin been called? Vicki? The professor at the university?"
Alicia shakes her head slightly. "I'm not sure. I'm sure they have. I only got in touch with mine."
Yi visibly is calming herself down, opening her army-sized duffel bag to check its contents. "I brought whatever I thought we could use." Amidst the clothing and clutter, some weapons of the street gang sort - knives, looted guns, random blunt objects...
Alicia nods her head and kneels down next to the Gnawer, giving her a light hug in her arms. "I know we'll get through this. Consider this just the greatest test of all eh'?" She says, trying to raise the new moon's hopes up. "Hey, look at it this way, we pull through, get shit done, kick a lil ass, we can both challenge for Fostern together eh'?"
Kaz flips out her phone. "Who you want me to call first?"
"Vicki and her twins," Yi answers immediately, still rummaging, almost oblivious to the hug save for a pause. "And Dr. St. Jean, if Seirian has not already found him. The doctor from the university with the child too. If it isn't vampires, it's dancers. I don't think I'll look at ballet the same way ever again."
"I already called Alec last night and left a message, but Vicki is a must. I'm sure all the Walker kin are alerted, but giving Lianne another call wouldn't hurt. I say at least all the /experienced/ kin who has the most contacts here within the city would be prime choice." Alicia says witha half shrug of her shoulders.
Yi nods again, finally having rearranged most of the materials inside as a distraction. "How far into the shell do we pull? Though I can deal with closet spaces, I do not think holding many Garou in one spot is a good idea."
Kaz flips her phone open and calls Vicki; evidently, she's not home, since she leaves a message. "Kin network'll handle it. Meanwhile, lemme grab Patrick." She moves over to the side slightly, and calls the Uktena. A brief, low conversation ensues.
Alicia turns her gaze back to Yi and rolls her shoulders. "Not sure. I don't think spreading us thin won't be very helpfull either ya'know? I suppose we gotta play things by ear and let the big dogs handle things."
Kaz comes back fairly quickly. "Andrea's over the Island. Robert's ok, too. I tol' Patrick t'get in touch with th' Walkers, so he'll be over eventually. Want to handle most of this in person, y'know?"
Yi glances at Kaz on the phone, and nods assent to Alicia. "It could be worse," she shrugs. "We could be dead." Ah, that dark humor coming out. That humor is quickly lost though, as she folds her arms over her chest and turns off towards a side. "How in the seven hells did we not know they were coming?"
"That is what I want to find out also, but I figure maybe Malachi told 'em. They were holding him hostage, maybe they scared him into it? I dunno... but I mean that is a -lot- of fucking Spirals who got into the Bawn and Caern. I hear we were clearly outmatched." Alicia glances to Kaz and lets out a breath, looking a whole lot relieved.
Kaz adds, "I tol' him Sepdet was ok, too."
Yi rubs a part of her neck. "I would not be too surprised. Gaia's Tears, Last Days, they all fell. Our turn for a slice now." Her lip twists wryly, and she nods at Kaz. "Leonard and I will try to find a way to get a message to her about the others. Leonard is still at the bluff though, taking care of the things at the cave and moving them down to the lake."
"Well, we are -not- ganna fall. We're made of tougher shit then that Yi." Alicia says, voice rising with confidence. "I for one am not ganna sit around and be killed. I'm pretty sure some of us won't come outta this alive, but whatever happens, its ganna be a victory in our favor."
Kaz says, "Damn right. Lissen, I should go deal with th' Rialto, but I'll catch you later -- Yi, do you got a cel, or just the stuff at your place?"
"No handphone, but the machine at the apartment is still working," Yi replies, smirking at Alicia. "The odds are against us, but never say die. Na?"
