Stories on the Savannah

Here are the RP logs I've got up. :) It's not much, but the collection is growing slowly...

Dealing with Simba - *Born-of-Fire*, or *Fireborn* for short, exchanges a few words with a Simba cub. Not often that predator and predator meet without a fight, but in this case the Spotted Runner is merely a curiosity.

Catherine and Porters - A new explorer arrives into Leopoldville, with her merry (and not so merry) crew. Azi, being a curious cat, investigates.

Laws of the Wild - Catherine finds its harder to keep her cool as arguments spring up. Azi, again, becomes the curious counsel.

Cheetahs Hunting - Azi shows Catherine there's wilder things out on the savannah than men who feel the need to press their strength.

Mzungu Fever - Azi's gift of Banish Sickness comes in handy when he finds Catherine in the throes of the white man's fever. Not quite as handy when it comes to dealing with lion-rug lovers.

Mzungu Through and Through - Catherine apologizes for Lachlan's comments from a few nights before.

The Swara and the Scientist - Cathering and Azi share a meal and a few riddles over his origins.

Joint Hunting - Catherine and Azi (That daring duo) go out onto the savannah to bring home the impala.

Rich August - Azi meets a most peculiar fellow at the Trading Post. And Catherine's temper flares.

New Faces - Azi meets three new faces in the town of Leopoldville.

She-Catches-The-Trees - Our Stupid Spotcat meets the Scruffy Princess.. I mean Mighty Huntress of the Lions.

Treecatcher's Change - After a second encounter of Asura's Horn, our spotcat has some adventures of kitsitting. Treecatcher is Mighty Hunter! Rarr! *holds up hands in claw-like formation and rowls*

Dinner and a Dance of Secrets - Azi shares a meal of fish with Gabriel, and the aspiring sleuth digs up some clues to Azi's inner secrets.

A Busy Day - Seems both the forest and the town are alive with business, and thus the runner proves that he does get around. From watching rainbow serpents to discussing jungle ventures to revelations of a mage, Azi finds life to be more complicated than usual.

Snake in the Grass - Azi meets Leopoldville's newest clergy, Daniel, on such an OOCly ironic circumstance.

Savannah Surprise - Fireborn discovers there is more to the savannah than just cats and jackals... indeed, there are some strange shifty things out there. Interlude with a Miss Russell afterwards for further details about the jungle expedition.

Black Head Hunter - Our plucky cheetah investigates the oddest find, and finds the oddest dog.

The First Taghairm - o/` The first taghairm, the Lion King roared, the stories that were told just made him bored... o/` (to the beginning of the tune, 'The First Noel') ;) I WAS LATE! I'm so sorry! :P I'll get the beginning of the taghairm log and add it to this one.

Yes or No, Treecatcher - Fireborn teaches the mighty huntress a few human-type gestures.

Expedition Preparations - Azi experiences being on a boat for the first time, and clears up some uneasy matters with a friend before the trip upriver.

Marriage of Utah Jimmy and Abigail - Azi attends a wedding, and finds it awfully interesting for the most part, despite a cynical Gabriel in the background.

Departure - The Roi des Belges departs from Leopoldville, puttering up the river on the beginnings of a grand adventure!

Compare and Contrast - Father Daniel Bellamy and Azi get into a little interesting conversation aboard the Roi, speaking of spirits, Franciscans, and...things.

Happy Easter - Kids, don't do drugs... or in this case, chew leaves. An unsuspecting Father gets a little too into the flora, as Mbadiwe drew the short stick amongst the natives.

When Natives Attack! - The Roi des Belges gets attacked by some forest natives who find the journeying crew a little less than welcome.

In De Joongal - The Father and Azi take a Faire au promenade through the jungle as the Roi stops briefly to collect some wood. The two make a good hunting pair, ne?

Death of a Captain - In the breaking of backs and Yava, the Roi's captain, Lucien, is killed by a frenzied Swara whose buttons were pushed one too many times. Chaos ensues, and leaves the Roi and its remaning crew lost for a leader.

Organizing the Aftermath - After Lucien's death, the remaining crew decide what to do with the rest of their trip into the Congo; continue on. August assumes the force of command, and the others have very little objections.

Receiving a Hand - Azi loses in the direction battle, and ends up around Lac Tumba with a Mokole by the name of Bekele. Not that he knows it, yet, but soon enough he and the croc-shifter will get back to Leopoldville one way or another.

Spirit Jackals - Treecatcher and Fireborn meet up randomly, and she tells him about her latest adventures. (To Be Continued)

Loose Ends - A few months after the killing of Roi des Belges' captain, Azi strays near Leopoldville once more - and finds that things are changing in more ways than one.

Fire and Shadow - Swara and Bagheera coincidentally meet, and discuss the future of the lands with the coming of the baboons.

The Way of Dogs - Azi interrupts a conversation in the Prescott House, and raises hackles at his formerly trusted secret keeper Daniel.

AWF! - The Priest and the Fire get into a bit of a spat. A...one-sided spat, that is. *Scar-like voice* 'Lucky Damek was there to save you eh?'

Revelations - Fireborn meets a pregnant Marian, and a Bubasti! Oooooh.

An Introduction to the Hunt - Azi meets the real cat behind Naeem, and introduces him to Hunting Basics.

He Better Submit - Treecatcher uses her newly learned gift once the spotted runner teases a little too far.

Catherine's Return - Catherine Russell returns to the town of Leopoldville, meeting with Azi and Naeem. Azi confuses a jackal/Strider, and much emotions get thrown around. Not necessarily all in that order.

Discussion of Dogs - Azi, Naeem, and Daia (Tempts-Fate) do a little discussion about the European Dogs... er.. Garou. :}

Unfinished - As the title says, this log is unfinished.

Naeem the Naa - Grooming the Newcomer must be a long, arduous rite. Or, it can be as simple as a tussle between cats. Nonetheless, Naeem finds out just how civilized the lions can be.

Nightmare - The log is from the GM's point of view, telling this story of unholy terror in the Heart of Darkness.

Aftermath - The Swara is still alive, puzzled and disturbed as he returns to the scene of the fantastic carnage.

Ammut's Appearance - The Swara clashes with the Strider in... augh I can't help it. MORTAL KOMBAT! (You'll see what I mean when ya read it.)

Ghost and Jackals - More nightmarish creatures you say? No, just a territorial leopard and a pair of blackbacks. [Main] | [Application] | [Descriptions] | [Logs] | [Links]
