The Prairie House: Main Floor(#2245RJ)
A small foyer leads into the prairie-style house from the front door. A set of stairs veers off to the immediate right of the foyer and curves around to the second-floor. The long, narrow hallway walls are a coral color with glazed porcelain floor tile the color of artifact clay. To the side of the front door is a LCD screen that monitors the home by a computer as it leads into the other rooms located on the main floor. The 'living and dinning room' are seen immediately to the left of the long, narrow hallway. The walls are a dark grey colored with slate-gray tiles which are covered by a plush red floor rug.
A linen-closet and powder room are seen on the right side of the hallway just before the kitchen. The 'kitchen' looks like the inside of a spaceship with steel appliances and a high-tech design. The countertops have a translucent, geometric aqua-tinted glass with a modern looking sink. The kitchen table is simply an angled kitchen bar with barstools that unite the nook with the kitchen. Connecting the garage with the kitchen is a utility room with a washer and drier. To the back right corner of the house is a 'family room' with a fireplace that looks as through it has been turned into an office. The walls are the same as the living and dinning room. The Master Suite is found at the end of the hallway to the back left corner of the house.

Master Suite Outside
Xia has been fretting about the house today. The house has a lemon scent of cleaning supplies, although there is still the presence of guests that have come and gone that linger throughout the house. The Shadow Lord kin, Scott, seems to be the most apparent, but he is the only kin besides Xia in Saint Claire area. The Shadow Lord kin has just gotten out of the bath and is out in the living room now, relaxing on the couch with a book and some hot tea.
It's a fairly rare occassion that Xia is visited on the larger auspice of the moon. Kenneth's usually deep in the woods now, doing whatever it happens to be that the philodox does in his spare time. Today is just such an occassion though, that he enters the house with a sniff and glance about from the front door. Lemon. "Xia?" he calls in, soon discovering her in the living room. He still hasn't forgotten to take his shoes off at the front door at least, no need to track that mud in. "Afternoon," he greets her then. His eyes stray towards the book, gauging thickness, genre, title.
It's one of those cheap romance novels that one finds in the book aisle at Wal-Mart or similar stores. "Hey, Ken." she says when she hears his familiar voice. Her waist turns a little, looking in his direction. "I have not seen your face for awhile."
Kenneth blinks once, black eyes half narrowing at the book in unspoken judgement. "You know how it is," he replies a beat later, moving closer and peering around the room in a sort of constant inspection. "Everything going alright?" Then he spots evidence of Scott, and those half narrowed eyes darken another bit. The lips straighten out just that tiny degree more, brief though it is.
Xia brings up her legs to allow room for Kenneth to sit down. "Scott has been coming over pretty frequently," replies Xia as she doesn't feel like hiding that the Shadow Lord kin has been over here. At least Xia has stopped being such a whore.
Kenneth makes no comment other than a verbalized 'hm', grunted out from his linear lips. And he sits once there is room made, a rather musky body odor coming from his clothes and hair that overpowers even the synthetic citrusy scent that wafts through the domain. Evidence, no doubt, that he has been living woodsward for quite some time. "Have those dreams stopped?"
Xia nods her head slowly. "They have been gone for awhile now," replies the kin in a soft tone. Her nose wrinkles at the smell rising from of of him, but she ignores it the best ass he can. She is more thankful to have him in her presence, for now. Leaning forward, she lightly runs her finger nails through his tresses in an affectionate gesture.
Kenneth tilts himself at an angle away from her for the brief moment he spots Xia leaning in, ever wary, but resuming a more relaxed pose once he realizes her intent. Then, he simply allows the affection, head bowing slightly. "Good," he responds gruffly, though the conversation part dribbles down. "Have any of the others been visiting you either?" At that question, the black gaze lifts from looking distantly at her lap to closely at her face.
Xia meets Kenneth's gaze briefly before turning away. "No," she replies. "Although I met with Vera over dinner once evening." She slips her hand away an places it around her waist. "I bought some clothes for you, they are in the warbrobe closet in the guest bedroom... maybe you could take a shower while you are at it?"
Ah yes, Vera. The name sparks virtually no love, and very distanced respect as evidenced by his own averting gaze. Her physical contact, and mention of clothes and a shower though, bring him back. Black eyes flick to her, then fleck down to himself. Well, he is rather mussed up. "You'll never know how strong that fake lavender stuff smells. Guess that's a good thing, considering then I'd know the moment you stepped out in the trees." He gives her a small smirk, parting his lips just slightly to ferally show the tips of his teeth.
"Then the next time I go to the store, I will buy some soap that doesn't have a quite an ordor to it. But I am not going to feed you or anything else until you have had a shower and have on decent clothes on," replies Xia with a soft huff, although she finally smiles too.
Kenneth retorts expressively. It's a very 'what's wrong with the clothes I have on' kind of look, but it's quickly followed with a more verbally offended, "I don't just come here to bum food off you." Though he doesn't bother stating what he does come here for, the youth stands up after. "Don't bother with the special stuff. The unscented kind smells just as strong, to a wolf's nose." He turns looking towards the bathroom. "So, you don't like this 'outdoorsy' scent?" he quips back, eyes twisting to glance at her from their corners.
Xia winkles her nose a little. "Not especially," she replies. "It.... just smells strongly in here." In her very clean house. She doesn't ask what exactly he does come here for.
Kenneth hns, a tight sound of amusement and takes a sniff of himself. "Sh--, all you had to say was I smell like Circle Keeper." The philodox proceeds to strip his jacket and shirt off right then and there, not even bothering to unbutton the should-have-been white shirt. "The wardrobe closet, you said?"
"I don't know who this Circle Keeper is," she replies honestly. Her eyes appear to be on the Shadow Lord's figure, watching him strip his jacket and shirt with an amused smirk. "Yes," she replies. "In the first bedroom."
"Don't know Circle Kee--, never mind." Kenneth gives a shrug, bundling up the clothes in his hand haphazardly. "Just think of him like the mountain man you see in really bad westerns. The white guy who's gone to the Indians." A pause. "Or raised by them." He stretches himself up tall after, and then turns for the bathroom. "Be out in a little. Probably gonna be the only one at moot who smells like flowers. At least they won't expect it."
