Forgotten Church(#1801RAJLM)
The old church is dark, dimly lit by outside light coming in through scum-encrusted windows during the day, and tomblike during the night. There is a coatroom in the back of the nave, with separate doors leading off to mens' and womens' restrooms, and two staircases, one going up to the balcony and bell-tower, and the other leading down to the basement. The double doors leading out to the street are at the back of the coatroom.
The hard wooden pews in the sanctuary are, for the most part, still intact. There are even Bibles and hymnals left in the shelves along the back of each row, although many of them look rather chewed on. The altar on a dais at the front of the church is empty, and the lectern that once stood next to it has been knocked over. Rotting red cloth hangs at the very front of the church; there might once have been a design on it, but it has long since faded or been eaten away.

Yi swings about silently in the church, practicing a little afterwork Tai Chi.

Lise opens the door, holding it for Alicia behind her, looking just slightly tired.

Arizona strides her way in, glancing about the church, she draws in a deep breath, not seeing 'him' within the dark confines. Spying Yi, she waves a tentative hand in the air. Dressed for success, she's wearing a tight fitting sports bra and a pair of heavy baggy jeans. Her worn down trench coat hanging upon her shoulders. "Thanks Lise." She says to the elder as she steps past her.

Yi had her eyes closed as she practiced, but Arizona's voice echoing through the church brings her to a stop and she glances at the two Coggies with a smile and a nod. "Hello," she greets, coming down the center aisle.

Lise nods slightly at that. She then waves slightly. "Hi." she agrees. "Did we actually meet, the other day?" she asks. "I'm Lise, halfmoon cliath and Child of Gaia."

Alicia brushes her shoulder past the Asian's slightly, grinning. "Nevada show up?" She asks after they introduce, tossing her hair back.

Yi arches an eyebrow, and scrunches her brow thoughtfully. "He hasn't shown in the past hour that I've been here. Maybe he was here earlier," she replies, before turning to Lise and bowing her head in habitual introduction. "Song Yi Ling, Three-Blades, cliath newmoon of the Bone Gnawers."

Lise ahs at that, and smiles. "Well." she says. "I'm new here. Unfortunately, her kinfetch also decided I was a good person to get hold of. What's the local policy on what to do with new cubs?"

Alicia listens to them idly as she slips into a pew. Drawing one knee to her bare stomach, she leans upon it, her jacket silhoutting her in a hug of darkness. Wetting her lips, curious dark eyes stray to each in turn.

Yi hms softly, shifting her gaze upward in a thinking fashion. Not before long, she gazes back at Lise and replies, "I seen a few cubs at the farmhouse, a few kilometers from here. I've only been here a little more than a month, but I am pretty sure that is where they take cubs of the other tribes." Her gaze shifts to Alicia in the pew. "I'm glad to see you well, Arizona."

Lise nods at that. "Ah." she says. "Do you know how to get there?"

"But I can't make you love me baby, is it my life or what I do? I can't make ya' love me, I'm jus' a girl with the crush on you." Arizona sings to herself as the two converse of cubs and farm houses, her attention span straying, yet, her voice carries through the church like a haunting melody. "I've been through changes yah', but I'm still the girl you used ta' know. It's made me no different, so tell me why you had ta' go. But I can't make you love m--" She pauses, glancing over to Yi at the sound of her name. "Um.. Thanks Yi." Alicia leans back once more, stiffling a yawn.

Yi nods to Lise. "Yes, I do. The trip is a little long, but I'm sure we're all in good health." She grins, glancing between the two of them. "If you'd like to go tonight, or another time, whichever is fine with me."

Lise smiles a little at that. "Cubs." she says, shaking her head, though with some affection. "And tonight would be preferable, I think."

Alicia glances to the two, nibbling on her bottom lip. "Yer' taking me ta' a farm house? Is becoming white trash part of the Garou thing now?"

Yi laughs softly, running a hand through her hair in a makeshift combing session. "The farmhouse is a protected area, safe for cubs. There are a few rules, but that is for your safety. I suppose I'll explain when we get there. I suppose we can leave now, if you like. If you have anything you want to take with you, now would be the time."

Lise nods. "Lots of places do that. It lets people teach you more efficently, you get more reinforcement about some of the basic things, and it lets you be with other cubs, so you can all sympathise with each other."

Alicia shrugs and cracks her neck by tilting her head to the side. "Sympathise eh? More like a daycare for newbie werewolves. Can't I just stay here.." She pauses for a moment. "Y'know, wait for Nevada...?"

"It's not my place to decide that," Yi replies with a stretch of her arms. "Your tribal elders would probably place you in the farmhouse anyway. From what I've seen, not many of the others approve of the city like Gnawers and Walkers." She half-leans and half-sits on a pew. "I'm sure Lise here, would also like to meet the others of your tribe and this caern. Nevada knows the way to the farmhouse. I can tell him you are there, if he would like to visit you."

Lise nods at that. "I'm new enough here I'm going to do the expected thing. It's a good place to start, at the very least." she points out. "And there are lots of benefits."

Alicia can't but huff slightly, then rubs the back of her neck. "Ok, I guess thats cool then, not like ah'have mucha choice." Smoothing down her jeans, the young girl stands up, canting her head to the side. "Ya'll ganna let me gather up my gear before I ship out?"

Jarred pushes open the door to the church and looks in, his face dark. He's clearly not a happy camper.

Yi nods, looking to Lise. "There's no rush from me," she replies, and turns her gaze to the door to gaze at Jarred, arching an eyebrow at his expression. "What's wrong?"

Lise nods. "Get what you need." she agrees, then looks up at Jarred, frowning.

Jarred seems to realize he looks pissed and shakes it off, somewhat. "Ah, nothing, Yi... it's just... been getting a lot of shit lately. I'll talk to you about it another time. I'm just discouraged. No big deal."

Arizona regards Jarred with a dip of her head, then crosses to the back of her church where her various bags lay. Kneeling down among the debris of broken benches, she begins to gather her things. Journal's, pen's, just stuff.

Lise settles down on a pew to wait, patiently enough, not intruding on Yi's and Jarred's converation.

Yi rubs the back of her neck and simply nods to the Shadow Lord, respecting his wish. Her eyes stray to Alicia moving to gather her things, and comments, "Don't take too much. It will weigh you down."

Alicia nods her head and stands up, throwing the backpack around her shoulders. The other bag, the one which carries her clothing is tossed around her neck and another shoulder. She definitly looks weighed down. Stumbling for a moment, she catches her footing, then makes her way to the others again.

Jarred walks forward. "Would you like me to carry some of those? I'm heading out to the farmhouse if that's where you're both going?" He looks over at Lise.. "Need a ride?"

Yi gazes over the numerous bags and shakes her head slightly. She turns at Jarred's mention of the farmhouse, an amused smile curling around her lips. She lets Lise answer that question though, since it is directed at her.

Lise nods at that. "That was what we were heading for." she adds. "At her suggestion." She nods at Yi.

The standard customary knock on the door is heard a few seconds before it is opened and Roger steps inside.

Jarred nods to Roger. "Hey, man... What's up?"

Yi gives the arrived Walker a nod of greeting, before turning to Jarred. "I don't suppose you're going to take all of us in your car?" she questions. "Just Lise and Alicia can go, if there isn't enough space. I can follow after."

Alicia shoves the heavy bag into Jarred's arms, grinning cutely with a wink, then shoulders the lighter backpack. "Thanks man." Glancing to Roger, she takes a nervous step back, remembering the gun from the other day.

Jarred says "I can take 4 people in the car, including me. One in the front seat and 3 in the back."

Jarred says "Oof!!"

Roger looks over in Jarred's direction first and is obviously angered about something or another. He looks away quickly enough as to show that it isn't directed at Jarred in particular. "Shit done hit the fan and splatted all over me. Ya'll headed over to the farmhouse?"

Jarred says "Oh, and someone can fit in the trunk, I'm sure, as long as they don't mess with my CD changer."

Jarred grins.

"Yes we are," Yi replies to Roger and smirks at Jarred.

Lise chuckles. "I promise not to touch it?" she offers.

Jarred grins. "Good... let's get this stuff in the car, then" he says, lugging the heavy back towards the door."

Roger nods to this and frowns. To Jarred he mentions, "Challenge was kicked out, doing a new one and Lucca is getting to set the rules again. Oh... and one of ya'll can borrow my bike if you need. More cozy then a trunk, and in the woods a bit more exhilerating."

Yi chuckles, then says, "Take Roger with you, Jarred." Meanwhile, she steps back and shifts down to lupus, barring anymore protest about who sits where.

Jarred looks around. "I said there's room for me and 4 other people in the car. There are 4 of you."

Alicia scratches the back of her neck, then follows after Jarred quickly. The tail end of her worn trench coat drags along the ground, kicking up dust. The heavy boots thump along the wooden floor boards of the church in time with the SLord's feet. "Can I get shot gun, since Ah'm da' gest o' honah."

Jarred says "It's cold as hell out there, and no one's riding a damned bike out in the woods."

Three-Blades whuffs and shakes her fur. If no one minds a dog in the backseat, we can all go in the ~car.~

Roger looks at Jarred with a bit of humor, "Bah! It's comfortable. Never too cold. Fine, Anyways, enjoy the farmhouse Alicia. You all find her tribe and moon an' shit?"

Lise shakes her head. "I don't mind at all." she says. She adds. "She's Child of Gaia, 'cause I got dragged into it by her kinfetch." she says. "But we're not sure about the rest yet."

Alicia pauses at the door, glancing over to them. Leaning upon the frame, one foot out, she feels the chilly breeze brush along the bare flesh of most of her chest and stomach, the sports bra barely providing much of a shelter. "Um.. Thanks. I guess." She says to Roger.

Jarred reaches the door, regards the girl for a moment and then drops the bag he's carrying. He removes his leather coat and puts it over her shoulders. "This'll hold you till the heat in the car gets going..."

Three-Blades gives her tail a slight swish, then pads around the legs of the humans and heads for the door.

Roger shrugs and smiles towards the girl. "Least I can do Alicia. Sorry about the other day, was just doin' my job."

Lise nods at that, shouldering her own bag, before waiting for the people who know where the car is to lead to the car. Logical, that.

Alicia nods her head, then blinks at Jarred's effort. Casting him a wide, teasing grin, she drawls to him softly. "Why thank ya' kind suh, ah' always accept kindness from strangah's." Grinning, she slips the new coat around her thinner one, snuggling into the warmth.

Jarred hefts the bag and heads out the door.

Three-Blades tags along Jarred's heels.

Jermantown Avenue, Industrial Sector
From warehouses a few blocks away from the river, across a chunk of city more than a dozen blocks wide, factories brood over the streets like dark dragons over their piles of treasure, greedy and all-encompassing. Huddling around the factories are smaller, less imposing buildings that are probably warehouses, or storage locations for trucks. The factories spill fumes into the air, darkening the area and blanketing it in a stench to mark humankind's domination over the world. Some of the warehouses stand empty, some are boarded over, and some, on the northern and western fringes of the area, have been converted to bars, with bizarre lighting, frequent brawls, and music that blares loudly at all hours of the night. There are no residences here for anyone to complain, and the factory workers populate the bars thickly. Throughout the area, trash and oil mingle together on alleyway streets, impeding the paths to the dumpsters at the ends of many of the alleys.

Jarred points across the street where a black, 4-door Saab waits. "Over there..." He strikes out across the street.

Roger steps over to his bike leaning against the wall of the church, a dog sitting at the bottom of it who he inconspicuously hands a treat to and watches it pad off. He gets on he bike and starts pedaling off down the road to the east.

Alicia follows after Jarred, whistling at the sight of the car. "Damn dude, ya ganna hook me up wi' a few G's?"

Three-Blades glances in Roger's direction as he takes off, flicking her ears curiously. I'd chase him, but that might get me a few painful kicks. She whuffles and noses the tires of the Saab before glancing up at the others and waiting for them to get in.

Jarred looks down at Yi sniffing at his tires and grins. "Don't even *think* about it, Three-Blades."

Lise moves to settle in the back seat, then gestures at the seat beside her.

Jarred moves to the trunk, opens it and puts in the heavy bag, motioning to Alicia to do the same.

Alicia opens the passenger side door, sliding in and bouncing a bit upon the plush seating. Closing the door, she can't help but grin. "This is so tight. Whoops." She glances over to Jarred, waving to him, motioning to her other bag, then yells back. "Yo! I'll jus' carry dis' one!"

Three-Blades lolls her tongue in a lupine grin. Of course not. I respect the territory of another. Her ears flick as she jumps up into the backseat and noses around, touching her nose to the back window and creating little puffs of mist on it.

Lane(#300RJ)
Stretching a good quarter mile from the road, this gravel lane leads back to the Escrowe farm. Trees line the lane, leaves of brown and orange, red and gold coloring the branches and carpeting the ground around them. In the distance, the farmhouse looms above the treetops, gleaming white as the snow from its yearly coat of paint. Silence prevails here, save for the rustling of the tall grasses in the fields when the wind blows.
The front entrance to the farmhouse is on the porch alongside the gravelled road which continues on around the eastern side of the house back to the barnyard. The opposite end of the lane turns back west to empty out onto Sunrise Road.

The saab glides up to the farmhouse, its finely tuned motor humming quietly before stopping altogether. Jarred looks over to Arizona. "This is it. Home sweet home for a little while..."

Three-Blades snorts a bit of dust out of her muzzle, having stuck her head out of the car window for most of the trip.

Alicia glances over to the farm house, rubbing at her eyes. "This is it huh? Gee.. why do I get a cheesy 80's movie flash back for? How cute, yes, this is where all the werewolves live at. Wouldn't Martha Stewart be proud?"

Jarred grins. "No.. No, she wouldn't." He pops the trunk and gets out, moving to the back of the car to retrieve Alicia's stuff. The trunk shuts with a muffled click and the Shadow Lord sets off for the porch.

Lise slides out of the car, taking time to look around herself.

Alicia shoulders the door open and steps out. Hipping it closed behind her, she lets out a slight sigh. "I hope Nevada comes to visit soon... this won't be like.. millitary school will it?"

Three-Blades exits out of the car after Lise, stretching after the ride. Her ears flicker back and forth as she sniffs the wind. Not likely. The raggie heads to the barn to shift upwards back into homid, and comes back out with a bit of wind-tousled hair and a grin on her face.

Farmhouse: Hallway and Living Room
All doorways in the front part of the house lead to the front hallway, a J-shaped area with the short tail starting at the stairs, the front door hitting the bottom curve, the doorless opening to the living room halfway up the long side, and the also doorless opening to the kitchen and dining room at the very top. The hall has a simple wooden floor, and decorated with a generic print of soft-colored flowers hanging on the wall to the right of the front door, and a tall table sitting under the print which serves as a place to toss keys. A closet under the stairs serves as a place to hang coats or to toss shoes.
The doorless opening to the living room is halfway up the side of the hall's J, and the word cozy might spring to mind when looking into is, as it seems to radiate comforting vibrations. A long couch sits against the south wall beneath a large bay window curtained only by sheers that manages to obscure the view in but only filters the day's light. A variety of out-of-date magazines are strewn atop a low coffee table; more neatly presented are the plethora of books filling the small bookshelves which line the eastern wall. Three chairs sit about the room, focused inward, to allow group conversations. Large floor pillows are stacked in one corner of the room, except one, which lies carelessly in the middle of the floor, apparently left out the last time it was used.
An opening in the northern end of the hallway allows access to the kitchen and dining room at the back of the house, while carpeted stairs twist up at the other end of the hall, leading to the second floor. A door at the base of the J lets out to the front porch.

Kitchen/Dining Room Front Door STairs

Jarred leads the way into the farmhouse's living room, setting Alicia's bags down for a moment. "It's warm and its comfortable.. .and almost everyone here is a cub, so you'll be in good company..."

Alicia follows after them, glancing around. Closing her eyes, the young girl takes a deep breath of the air. "Yah.. Ah'guess.." She trails off a bit. Blinking her eyes open, she takes in all the details.

You say "There are some rules as I said though. The keepers of this house want the Veil upheld, so you are not allowed to shift in this house, only in the barn.""

Alicia nods her head slowly, letting out a slight sigh. "Ok..I gotcha.." She unshoulders the bag and lays it at her feet.

Lise nods slowly at that, still taking this in ,and keeping quiet.

Yi settles down onto an empty spot of floor near the wall, watching the cub with a curious air. "I suppose, it is best to let the keepers know about you, and Lise as well. The elders of your tribe here, I don't know very well. Perhaps Jarred could contact them." She rests her head against the wall and quirks her lip in a small smile. "Are you...disappointed?"

Lise nods at that. "I'll be able to talk to members of our tribe, as soon as I can track them down." she points out. "They do know I'm here, though."

Alicia glances from Lise, to Yi. "Well, lets see. First I find out my boyfriend and all of his pose' are werewolves, then I find out I'm one too. Now I find out that kills my sex life and I have to live in a church where all of my werewolf practice will be done inside a 'barn'." She says the last word with a heavy accent. "Would you be disapointed?"

Lise mmms. "I was, a bit, and it wasn't nearly so bad. But it's got good points, too. And me, I had to keep going to college while dealing with all of it, and not letting my dad in on what was going on. Which was *not* easy."

"It has its down parts," Yi nods, "But the experiences you have, the knowledge you gain just knowing there is more out there than you think... would you not say the adventure is worth it? It was better for me, anyway. I appreciate that I finally had a family of sorts."

Alicia scratches the back of her neck and shrugs slightly. "Adventure, wow...Oh, I'm /so/ thrilled." She hints with slight sarcasm. "I'm sure I'll get the hang of it, if the others can stand me long." Slipping a rubber band off her wrist, she goes about tying her hair off into a pony tail.

Jarred looks back at Alicia. "Wizards, Fairies, monsters, dragons, vampires... you name it, Arizona, and it's out there. You're in for the ride of your life."

Alicia blinks at that. "Dragons? Huh? Th'fuck? Yo'kidding right?" Turning around, she regards Jarred skeptically.

Run away; the hellion has arrived. Complete in jeans and a sweatshirt, Helen plods in from the porch into the farmhouse, peeking around. She murmurs things under her breath--and the words of various drugs are used in her low-pitched ramblings. "Fuckin' A," she grumbles.

Luke comes downstairs, and heads back for the kitchen. A pause, even before he makes it to the refrigerator. Three unfamiliar faces out of a small gathering, that's unusual.

Jarred look serious. "Nope.. I'm not kidding."

Alicia shifts slightly on booted feet, casting her dark gaze first towards Helen, then over to Luke, giving a slight wave of her hand.

Yi eyes Luke, and then her attention is drawn to Helen. She stays silent though, simply watching the others and their reactions.

Helen perks and glances over to the Shadow Lord. "Wizards, faeries, monsters, dragons, vampires? We in the Wizard of Oz or something? Lions, tigers, and bears, oh _my_!" Sarcasm drips in her words as she glances to Alicia and almost warily approaches the new cub. "Uh, hi. Y' new here?"

Jarred grins. "And as you can see, Arizona," He gestures to Helen. "We even have zombies."

Alicia levels her eyes towards Helen and dips her head in a nod. "Yeeah, I'm new 'ere, new ta' alla'dis shit." Clicking her tongue ring along her teeth, one hand dips down to toy with the golden hoop over her navel.

The Fury just pointedly glares at Jarred and glances over to Alicia. "Hi. Helen. Ragabash Black Fury cub," she says, and adds under her breath, "who needs a fuckin' cigarette or somethin'." She snickers.

Luke returns the wave to the new cub, and glances to Jarred, since he's the only elder that Luke recognizes. "Full introductions in order?" His subtle way of asking if it's safe to talk about Garou stuff.

Lise glances at Jarred, and grins. "I think." she says, with reasonable good humor. "That we're being communally confusing."

"Yo, I gots ah' pack of reds in my jacket." Arizona offers, shoving a hand into her pocket, then takes out the pack with a lighter. "Ah'm Arizona, um.. cub... of... the Children of Gaia?" She glances to Lise, then over to Luke.

Jarred nods to Luke. "Yes. Arizona is aware."

In the back of the house, Ethan trudges in, tired and grubby and, given his direct path to the refrigerator, hungry as well. The sound of voices in the living room has him deviating from his course slightly. He swings around to a point where he can peek into the living room.

Jackpot. Helen stares at Alicia and looks like she could fall over right then and there. "Oh, fuck, yeah, thanks a _lot_!" she exclaims, and grabs the cigarettes happily. "Wanna go outside and talk or somethin'?" New friend, right there.

Lise nods at Arizona. "That's right." she agrees, easily. "And I'm Lise, halfmoon of the same tribe, and Cliath, and really new in town." she adds.

Yi leans a bit more into the wall. Her voice is silent, then she pipes up from her corner. "Yi, Three-Blades, newmoon cliath of the Bone Gnawers."

Alicia blinks at Helen's enthusiasm, then shrugs her shoulders. "Shure Yo', if'n ya wanna. I got some roaches up in da' mix if ya want' some bong." Licking her lips, a slight smile touches her features.

Jarred says "I'm Jarred Aerhardt, Storm-Singer, Cliath Galliard of the Shadow Lords."

Oh, yeah. Helen's eyes almost glaze over with the premise of what she had missed, but the older girl then turns and walks out the front door, gesturing the new cub to come along. "C'mere."

Jarred looks over at the cubs. "There will be no drugs here, Arizona. That shit is gonna have to stop. The sooner the better."

In the back of the house, Ethan ducks fully back into the kitchen after checking out the fresh meat in the living room. Hot dogs it is, then. Those in the front room can hear the sounds of the fridge opening, things being moved about.

Alicia grins widely to Jarred, then quickly takes after Helen.

Luke says "Luke Cassidy, Fianna Theurge and Cliath, just back from my Rite. And I'm not so sure you want Helen to be adopting the new cub nearly this quickly. Might not be the best influence."

Jarred heads into the kitchen for a moment.

Lise looks after the two, and nods. "I mean to be talking to the others of my tribe as soon as I can." she says. "I've mostly been doing immediate damage control."

In the back of the house, Jarred steps inside the kitchen for a moment. "Ethan... can I talk to you for a few?"

Yi leans away from the wall a bit to glance towards the kitchen. "The best influence or not, at least she knows she has a few friends now," Yi replies with a smirk. She glances back to Luke. "Newly rited? How was it?" She smiles, remembering the trials and enjoyments of her own Rite.

In the back of the house, Ethan is just now pouring himself out a tall glass of milk. He flicks a glance over toward Jarred, nice and neutral, and his immediate answer is nothing more than a lazy shrug. "Probably," he says a few seconds afterwards, as he's returning the milk to the fridge. He's being respectful, sure, but hardly friendly.

In the back of the house, Jarred takes off his black leather gloves and sets them on the table. "I wanted to apologize for my behavior this afternoon. I spoke out of anger and frustration. I should not have said the things I did about you or your totem. After all, Wolverine was my totem as well, and we followed him for the duration of our agreement." He hesitates a moment, before sitting down at the table. "Look, I know your tribe and mine don't really get along, but I've been trying to make an effort to overcome the prejudices of both sides. I mean hell... we're all fighting for the same cause, right? I was there with you and the others when the Spirals needed to be put down..."

Luke chuckles. "Yeah, I guess that's true. Not sure I've seen two people click quite that quickly before." Then, in answer to the question, "It had its moments, and it's rough spots. Not that I really have a lot to compare it to, mind."

In the back of the house, Ethan grabs some hot dogs from the fridge, and kicks the door shut with a foot as he turns. "Okay," he says, and that's all he says as he heads toward the table. ALl the same, he can't help but relent a little with those words. That much is evident from his expression at least as he kicks a chair out from the table.

Lise nods at that. "I think they're all like that. You get done, and .. well. You're done, and there's not necessarily anyone you can talk about it with well."

Yi glances out a window, then back at Luke and Lise. "Where was it held?" She pressed curiously. "Did you receive a name afterwards?"

In the back of the house, It's enough. The Shadow Lord is perceptive enough not to push at this time, and just nods. "Cool. By the way. I just found out that Owen is still planning on going to Hanford to investigate the ruins there. Just a scouting party. That's why Wolverine passed on coming along. But it looks like we'll still be together, if not as a full-blown pack. Thought you might like to know, since Owen's one of your own..."

Luke shakes his head. "No new name, so I'm still Runs-at-Dawn. But I think that one fits, anyway. And I went out to Boston for the Rite, stayed with the local Fianna/Glass Walker sept there."

In the back of the house, Ethan says, "Yeah, I heard something about that." He drops into the seat, and leans back with his knee propped up against the edge of the table, balanced on the back two legs of the chair. "You guys have a ragabash in the group, right? Some lupe?"

Lise tilts her head, and grins at Luke. "I just moved from out there.' she says. "Though I was outside the city, mostly, running with Black Furies, mostly, and not so involved with Sept stuff."

In the back of the house, Jarred nods. "I think so. I haven't talked to Quick in a while, but last I heard he was interested in going. I'm going because my mother was killed in the battle there. I owe her at least that much, and I'm interested in seeing the site."

Echoing the name to herself in a murmur, Yi nods and leans her head back upon the wall, with no further questions that spring to mind. The conversation in the kitchen is luring, but she respectfully tunes out.

"You hang out around the Fens, or the Oak, when you did go into town?" Luke asks, surprised to run into someone from out there. "I stayed with the Musketeers, since I'm Fianna. Things might be getting pretty tense between the two septs right now, though, so if you hear anything about how it turns out, let me know."

In the back of the house, Ethan digs a hot dog out of the pack, and takes a big bite out of it. Nothing like cold hot dogs for dinner. "You might try finding an unpacked raggie scout to go with you," he suggests. "You're scouting, you need scouts. Owen's not a scout. He's too direct."

Lise nods. "I will. And mostly, we visited both, and did most of our duty to a sept further west in the state." she explains. "I've heard about the growing tension, though. My former pack-sisters are still out there." She grins. "They're nice people, good Garou, but they're.. well, Furies, and a bit militant for my blood sometimes."

In the back of the house, Jarred nods. "Good point. I'm not either, really. You're a Ragabash, right? Do you know any unpacked New Moons around the sept? ... umm... you're not even gonna cook that? Dude, that's nasty..." he makes a face.

Alicia heads back inside after having some laughs with Helen, grinning widely.

Yi, having closed her eyes for a little bit, reopens them at the sound of the front door opening and closing again. An amused light shines from her eye as she watches Alicia come back a bit happier than when she came in.

In the back of the house, Ethan flashes a toothy grin at Jarred. "They're already cooked," he says, and takes another bite of the hot dog. Worse yet, it's generic store brand. Who knows what goes in those things. "When you cook 'em in the microwave, you're not cooking them. You're just heating them up. I like to eat 'em cold, though. And Yi--" He gestures into the living room, with the remainder of the hot dog he's chewing on. "--is a raggie scout. Unpacked, I think. She was in the sewer crawl."

Luke nods. "The Shadow Lords at the Oak bombed a building and killed two Fianna kin, or one of their kin did. We retaliated. I'm just hoping things don't wind up getting _too_ much worse. But anyway, what brought you here?" The question directed to both Lise and Yi.

In the back of the house, Jarred overhears Luke in the front room and leans forward, letting his head hit the table with a loud thunk. "Christ... "

Alicia slips to Lise, brushing away a tendril of hair from her face, glancing over to Luke. She smells like cigar smoke at the moment, wearing just a pair of baggy jeans, sports bra and a trench coat. Hearing the thunk, her eyes avert to the kitchen, then back.

Lise winces at that. "Yikes." she says slowly. "I hadn't heard that yet, but I don't exactly having a forwarding address out here either." She shakes her head, looking concerned. "And I'm travelling, to see what's out here, and to make myself useful. And then I got grabbed by Alicia's kinfetch. So it's been... an introduction." She looks back at Alicia, and offers a smile. "Not that it's a problem, just a doozy of an introduction to the area."

In the back of the house, Ethan goes on munching his way through a hot dog or two. Really, he's not paying too much attention to what's going on in the living room. A few words catch his attention, but not much more than a few.

Luke chuckles. "Yeah, I can imagine."

Yi glances away from Alicia and looks back to Luke as she hears the question. "I came at my elder's bidding from the Sept of Rat's Tail in Hong Kong, to contact a kinfolk. I've not yet taken a quest to find him yet, though." She looks down to the floor, feeling a bit of guilt for not having contacted her sept at home yet. "But I'm here. And I'm staying until I'm called elsewhere. Fighting for Gaia has no difference as to what part of her face you're on."

Alicia um's to them, clicking her tongue ring. "So, do ah' get a room 'ere...?" She asks hesitantly, glancing about the living room again.

In the back of the house, Jarred looks up for a moment, then mutters, "screw it.." and takes a cold hot dog out of the package, taking a large bite before letting his head thunk on the table again.

In the back of the house, Ethan goes for a second hot dog, and with that he pushes back from the table and stands. The milk's gone, too, by this point. He hesitates a moment before taking what's left of the hot dogs back to the fridge.

Luke says "A room? Not likely, but you can grab a sleeping bag up in the attic, if you want. Or the barn, if you like it better."

Alicia raises a brow upwards, then cuts a begging look back to Lise. "Yanno, dat'church sounds /so/ comfy 'right 'bout now."

Luke notes, "Most of us crash in the attic. Only one bed, and it's been claimed, so you'll be stuck on the floor. "

Yi chuckles at that statement, and is about to pipe up that there is plenty of space at Jay's apartment. Luke's descriptions aren't exactly all that comfy sounding either, but she's been through worse, like sleeping in a closet.

Christopher walks down the steps and looks about into the living room. "Hey. What's goin' on?"

Lise mmms. "Give it a try, if you would, and let me talk to people." she says. "Honest, it's the best way for you to learn."

Alicia grumbles slightly to herself as she cants her head over to Christopher. "Yah..sleep'n in a barn, or in an attic. Good lord, isn't this how horror movies start out? Or at least...an episode of Cops?"

In the back of the house, Ethan grabs a Mountain Dew from the fridge, that last necessary element in making a balanced meal for the evening, and finally heads into the living room to check things out.

In the back of the house, Jarred stands up and returns to the living room, putting on his gloves.

Jarred says "All right... anyone coming back with me?"

Lise mmms. "If you don't mind giving me a lift, I ought to head out and see if I can find assorted people.

Jarred nods. "Not a problem."

Alicia bites her lip for a moment, glancing back to Luke, then to the others, her gaze straying to the ground with a light sigh.

Christopher looks over to Jarred hearing his voice and narrows his eyes slightly, then looks over Alicia and then finally to Luke. He then walks over to Luke's side. "Heya Luke."

Jarred notices the little sigh and smiles at Alicia. "I come out here regularly, Arizona. I'll make sure I bring Nevada out to check on you when I do, ok?"

Luke laughs to Alicia. "It's not so bad, really. I've been here since...mid-April or so? Been up there the whole time, and no monsters have gotten me. Or cops, either."

Alicia shrugs her shoulders, clicking her tongue ring loudly. "Sho', Ah'guess if tha's what ya wanna do. Dat is', if Nevada wants ta' seem again. He ran away th' other night, haven't seen 'em since." Heading to her discarded bag, she bends over, grasping it.

Yi looks up at Christopher, and nods in greeting. Dark eyes stray back to Arizona. "At least you aren't sleeping outside in the forest, right?" She stifles a chuckle at the girl's dejected look.

Luke offers Christopher a nod. "Hey, cub."

Ethan gets a closer look at Alicia now that he's in the same room as her. "Hi," he says to the girl, about as polite as he ever gets. "Name's Ethan, by the way. The barn's better than the upstairs for sleeping, less people snoring."

Christopher grins slightly at Luke, then quietly listens to the conversation at hand.

Alicia picks up the bag and lifts her head up, glancing to Ethan, waving a hand slightly. "Um, Ok.. Ah'm Arizona. Ah'Guess its nice ta'meetcha." She drawls quietly, then licks her lips, giving a brief smile to yi and Luke.

Ethan flops himself down sideways onto a chair, so that his legs are dangling over the arm of it. "Though I wouldn't recommend the barn until you get used to the wolf form, actually. It gets cold."

Jarred grins at Yi before returning his gaze to Alicia. "Oh, and if you have any questions, or need help learning how to do things, just let me know. I'll be glad to show you the ropes." He looks pointedly at Christopher. "Some people don't take too kindly to outside help, but the way I see it, experience is experience."

The sound of Rachel's van is fairly distinctive, to those who know it; equally clearly, it's not Kaz driving it, since it's not backfiring every 3 seconds. After a moment to park and slam doors, the driver becomes evident, as Kaz and Max, the former with a bundle of groceries in hand, appear at the front door. "Ho ho ho Merry something're other," Kaz mutters, as she shoves the door open.

Alicia casts her gaze towards the two new Gnawers, shifting slightly on her feet. She darts a look to Ethan, nodding her head, then clears her throat as she finds herself inching towards Lise.

Yi waves to the two arrived Gnawers, only arching an eyebrow in amusement at Kaz's pseudo-Santa impression. "She brings food," the Canto-Gnawer grins.

Christopher looks from Luke over to Jarred and heh's at him. "I guess not."

Lise smiles a little. "You'll be ok here, honest." she says, to Alicia. "And I'll be back, too, to check in with you." Not on you, it might be noted. With.

Jarred holds Christopher's gaze for a moment, almost challengingly. "Problem, little guy?"

Alicia looks over to Christopher and Jarred, then back to Lise, quickly losing intrest with the staredown. "Ok, Ah'll be looking forward to seeing you." Her hand quickly darts out and snags her, giving a reassuring squeeze.

Max follows Kaz in, dragging the door shut behind the both of them with a deft foot movement. She takes in the large group in the main room and whistles. "Holy-'rou-a-holic, batman." She catches sight of Ethan and smirks. "This a freakin' intervention, or what?" Alicia's sidestep earns her Max's assessing attention.

Christopher looks at him for a moment and then sighs letting his eyes fall and away from him. "None that I wish to say Shadow Lord."

Yi pipes out to Lise. "I know of one Child of Gaia, Dante. I saw him at the caern once." She motions to the Gnawer Galliard, whom she knows to be the most familiar with sept members. "Kaz can show you the others, I suppose."

Luke asks Jarred casually, but with a touch of insistence to it, "Thought you two weren't supposed to be talking to each other?"

Lise smiles at that, returning the squeeze. "Good." she says, obviously pleased at the touch and the reaction. She then turns her attention to the newcomers, nodding politely, and saying, perhaps to forestall the inevitable question. "Lise, halfmoon cliath of the Children of Gaia, new in town, but a kinfetch got me to help Alicia here, and with assistance, we've brought her out here." She then glances the movement towards the back of the house, and blinks, looking *much* happier all of a sudden, and calling out "Adam?"

"Bruises!" Ethan shouts, suddenly very loud. He squirms around on the chair so he's sitting more properly, feet on the floor, goofy grin on his face. "Damn, haven't the Gnawers culled you yet?"

Kaz gives the group in general and Yi and Jarred in particular a grin. "Yeah, big surprise, huh Yi, me with food." That said, she nods. "Sure the fuck can. Adam, Robert, alla them Gaians." That said, she heads into the kitchen briefly to drop the food on the table.

Alicia glances about at all the action going on, then cuts her eyes to Adam, blinking rapidly. "Holy shit, are you Jesus reborn? Your a god damn hottie." Good Lord, I said that outloud eh? Heh.

Yi scoots a little closer to a less crowded corner, still sitting against the wall and out of the main rivers of action.

Jarred shrugs at Luke, smiling. "I was given no such order. Christopher, however, was. Actually, it's a good thing I gave him some pointers. It's clear that he was falling behind the other cubs. I think you've probably got your hands full with that one, but I'm sure your tribe'll step up to the effort in good form."

In the back of the house, Adam opens the back door, rubbing his eyes with a free hand as he dawdles over to the fridge. Reaching inside, he finds a familiar water bottle, drinking deeply from it. As his name is called, he puts down the bottle. "It is," he replies, hading into the hallway. "What-" he starts, but is cut off by the ourburst. "Uh...why do I have the feeling I'm going to be told a story," he asks, a smile creeping along the edges of his mouth.

Alicia continues to stare at Adam as if he was a backstreet boy.

As Kaz heads into the kitchen, Max meanders around the room, ending up standing behind Ethan's chair. She thwaps the back of his head lightly. "Yo, Flings. I 'spected they'd be winterizing the bawn with your scrawny-mulched-Get-ass by now." Over the top of Ethan's head, Max casts a sidelong glance to Yi.

Lise grins at Adam. "I found a cub." she says, sounding pleased with herself. "Alicia, this is Adam. Adam, this is Alicia. She's had a hard day or two." she adds. "We haven't figured out her auspice, but she's a Child of Gaia." She adds to Alicia. "So's Adam, if you hadn't figured it out. And I'm now going to defer to him on what needs to be done, since I'm quite certain he has more of a clue than I have on the subject."

"I.. Um.. Ah'm Yours! Ah'm mean." Throat Clear. "Ah'm Arizona." She says to Adam, feeling her cheeks burn in embarassment, scuffing her boot against the floor. "Um... heh.. I'll..just go die now." She heads away quickly, back for her bag.

Yi eyes Max back with a small smile, and leans against the corner to watch all the mulling about and conversation.

Ethan reaches a hand back to bat awkwardly at Max, and misses. "Shit, haven't you heard? They've appointed me Alpha out here. Brian was tired of leading the Sept, see. You can go ahead and start bowing to me now, cub."

Luke answers Jarred with, "He'll manage. He's got teachers aplenty. But thanks for the concern." Hard to say whether he actually means it as thanks, but he doesn't sound hostile about it, anyway.

((Long distance to the room: Yi | Adam shifts to crinos, with the background music.. That makes you Larger than Life...))

Kaz grabs a Ding Dong from her bag and unwraps it as she watches the group in general, silent. For once.

In the back of the house, Steven slips in the back door of the farmhouse. He heads, as usual, to the fridge.

Halfway through Lise's speech, Adam walks into the living room. "One of ours," he says, and flashes Lise a smile. "That's great!" he exclaims. "And as for what to do, now? Well, first, Alicia, I'm telling you that you can;t leave the Farmhouse for a bit. If you know stuff about shifting, there's a barn out back you can practice in. No other forms than Homid in this house." He calls out, wondering. "Where'd they leave the Almnac?"

((From afar, to the room, Adam backscrolls, and chokes.))

Alicia blinks over at Adam, picking up her bag and shouldering it. "Ah' can't leave da' farm house? Wassup wi'dat mess? Man.. shit.." She casts another begging look to Lise, mouthing the words 'save me'.

Kaz says, fairly quietly, "Bookcase next to the stairs," and fetches it. She hands it over with no flourish at all.

Max listens to Alicia's introduction with a crooked smirk. "Only forty-flippin'-eight states left t'go." She crawls up onto the back of Ethan's chair -- thank goodness Megan's not around to notice the furniture violation -- and sets her boots on Ethan's shoulders. "Yeah. 'til Brian' stuffs your ass into a wood-chipper." She again whaps the back of Ethan's head, albeit lightly. Her attention flickers here and there, returning to Kaz and Adam.

Jarred nods to Luke, grinning good-naturedly. "You're welcome." He then turns to the others. "All right, I'm outta here. Who's coming?"

Adam also smiles at Kaz as he receives the book. "You're a Cub, Alicia, and we need to teach you. It's safe here, right now," he says, reassuringly, as he's flipping pages. "What is your birthday again?"

Lise shakes her head slightly. "Sorry." she says, softly. "Rules is rules. Adam knows how things are handled out here. But we're not abandoning you or anything, honest. And the faster you learn and show yourself able to handle responsibility and all that cool stuff, the faster you stop being so restricted." Bribes are good.

In the back of the house, Steven roots around in the fridge for a while, finally selecting something and shutting the door. The bottle opens, of course, but the sound is probably lost amongst the other conversations.

Kaz calls to Jarred, "Where y'goin', dude?"

Jarred grins at Kaz. "Back to town, I guess. Barns aren't my style, unfortunately." He turns back to Alicia. "Anything I can bring you from town?" He addresses the group. "Is there a phone in this place, by the way?"

Ethan flails backwards at Max, trying to shove at her from a point of no leverage. "Jesus, it's like an infestation, what're you doing, get offa me," he complains, but it doesn't really sound like he's too annoyed at the moment. It's pretty easy to tell when he's truly ticked off at something. "When're you getting your little pup-butt rited, anyway?"

Yi remains one the quietest ragabash here, merely taking in the sheer amount of Garou hanging out in the room.

Alicia crosses her arms over her chest, sighing wistfully as she draws her attention, quite easily at that, back to Adam. Flicking her tongue ring along her teeth, she mummers. "December, 11th, 1985..." She wonders why, quirking up a brow.

In the back of the house, Steven steps into the front room, bottle of beer in one hand.

Alicia glances to Jarred and shakes her head, then glances back to Lise and Adam, shifting some more on her feet.

Adam flips through a few more pages, and his eyebrows lift. "Well," he says. He thinks about it for a moment, speaking to the two female Tribesmates after giving Steven a respectful nod. "Come with me, both of you," he explains. "I want to show you both around."

Kaz says, "Nah, Jar. Y'r cool, but I just got here, an' I wanna stop th' floor movin' for a /little/ while, at least. Buy you dinner sometime, though?" By the look in her eye, it'll at least be heartfelt.

Max effectively dodges Ethan's flailing, grinning down at him. She starts to answer, "I ain't into premature e-rite-ula--" She stops short, catching sight of Steven as he arrives, and watches him with abrupt silence.

Steven's chin lifts to Ethan, and he take a drink from the bottle. "No phone," he says, evenly. "Not here."

Lise nods at that. "Sure." she agrees. "Show away." She certainly looks like more information would not be amiss at all.

Alicia follows after Lise and Adam, glancing idly over to the growing crowd of people in the room, waving once, then thumps after the two coggies.

Max calls after the retreating Gaians, "Hey-yo, see ya, Alabama."

Yi waves at the departing Coggies, and once again becomes the silent statue in the corner of the living room. She briefly eyes Steven.

In the back of the house, Alicia calls back to Max. "Dat's Arizona! Um... Check ya later Yo'!"

Kaz, as well, calls, "Later!" and then quiets down, gaze slewing towards Steven.

Max smirks at Alicia's response, but as she looks back to Steven the expression melts to more musing, and highly atypical silence. She absently flicks the back of Ethan's head with a fingertip.

The big Fianna watches the Children exit the room with a detached interest, making room for them to pass. He takes another drink from his bottle, his attention straying to the young Bone Gnawer cub on the chairback. "Good thing I'm not Megan, kid," he says. Steven turns then, to Christopher. "Cub," he says, slowly. "It's now the beginning of the half moon. You and I have business."

Ethan ducks his head down, like a turtle hunching into his shell. "Don't make me kick your ass, Max," he threatens good-naturedly. If he was truly annoyed, he'd doubtlessly be making a much bigger, much more physical deal of this. "Why're you so quiet now, huh? Cat got your tongue?"

Kaz fades off to sit on the stairs, opening her Ding Dong over there.

Yi finally slides up from her spot, winding around the others towards the stairs. A short moment later, she sits down one stair down from Kaz and looks at the metis with an intention to speak to her.

Kaz tilts her head slightly, questioning.

"Are we still, joined with the Wendigo?" Yi queries softly enough to be just above a whisper.

Max growls quietly, "Shaddup, Flings." She does stop flicking though and a bit of mischief returns to her eyes, as Steven's attention to Chris means she doesn't have to reply or get off the furniture. She murmurs to Ethan, her voice low, "You pack with him?" As if Ethan could see, she looks indicatively to Steven.

Kaz blinks at the phrasing of this question, but nods. "I ain't talked t'Joseph lately, but I think this, y'know, mutual exchange of information thing's still going on, yes."

Jarred looks over and notices the young Get. "Jamethon! Man, I haven't seen you in a little while... how ya been? Have you talked to Owen?"

Yi nods at this, looking away from the Gnawer galliard for a moment to observe the others. After a moment's thought, she turns back to Kaz. "I was thinking, of asking them to teach me a bit about the woods here. To be one of the first pupil of their teachings. I feel that, if I learn to scout and track in the forest, it will be useful in the city as well."

Jamethon steps in finally and offers a nod to Jarred as he steps over to him and frowns slightly. "I've been fine. I've gotta cub to get taught and rited, haven't seen Owen in a while, and I hear that theres a new cub here tonight?" With that he scans the farmhouse, ending up looking in the direction of the Kitchen.

Kaz nods thoughtfully. "Yeah, Yi. Sounds like a real good idea. And you got a couple of them Wendigo in that bunch with Sepdet, doncha?"

Ethan tilts his head back to look up at Max. "With who, with Steven? Yeah," he answers, like this was the most natural thing in the world, him packing with a Fianna. "And Rides-Fire and Nightflash, dunno if you know them. They're lupes, Nightflash is a Gaian, Rides-Fire is a 'Gazer. We're probably going to start following Cougar."

Yi blinks, then gnaws her lip. "To be honest, I have not yet gone back to the island and found out," she admits. "I... really haven't done much at all, since Jay..." Her voice trails and she takes up a new interest in the stairwell wall.

Jarred nods to Jamethon. "That's right... but she's not here at the moment. I think she went out back with Lise."

Jamethon shrugs and looks back to Jarred. "Known tribe and shit?"

Kaz lays a hand on Yi's shoulder. Softly, she says, "Takes awhile, Yi. Let it." A little louder, she adds, "But if you want learnin', Sepdet, or that Thunder Runner guy, or Leonard even, they'd rock at it. So, y'know. Go for it."

Max looks from Steven down to the much closer Ethan. "No shit? Like a clawin-into-the sunset honest-to-Gaia pack? You into that wolfy shit?" Max does indeed sound surprised.

Jarred says "Yeah... she's a Child of Gaia.. I'm not sure which auspice. I'd guess an Ahroun, given what I've seen, but... you never know."

Steven takes a seat while he waits. He doesn't just sit gracefully, but rather drops heavily on to a couch. "I don't know how much he's into it, but he's a competent enough ragabash. At least when he shuts his whining mouth." He lifts his beer toward Ethan and then drinks a bit more.

Jamethon offers a second shrug and suddenly seems to have a complete lack of intrest. "So. How you? Anything stirring up in your life?"

Yi glances up as the metis' hand touches her shoulder. "I will," she replies with a small tug at the edge of her lips. "I have to do /something/, at least.

Jay would tell me I was being lazy." A quiet chuckle slips from her.

Jarred shakes his head at the Theurge. "Not really. I did speak to Owen today, though. Wolverine has indeed left, as we suspected he would after the battle was through... Owen still wants to investigate Hanford, and so do I. Ethan pointed out we'd need at least one more Ragabash, so I'll be looking around for one during the next few days. Other than that, life's ok."

Ethan flashes a toothy grin. "Yeah, you gotta watch my whining mouth," he agrees aloud. "Wolfy shit is cool, though. Packs are cool, First Strike especially. We kick ass, right, Steven?"

Kaz snorts. "Lazy, fuck no. Mournin', fuck yes. But you still doin' shit anyway, so -- don't beat y'self up, hey?" She removes her hand only after a moment of watching the other woman.

Steven levels his finger at Ethan, gun style and pulls the trigger. "More than I could ever hope to say," he says, with a fierce grin.

Jamethon nods and thinks a moment on this. "Well Galliard... if you see Owen before I do. Can you tell him something for me?"

Jarred looks up. "I suppose. What's the message?"

Yi nods, turning her gaze back to the main conversation amongst the others. "Thank you, Kaz," she replies in a near whisper.

Kaz shrugs, stuffing her hands in her coat pockets. "Y'welcome," she mutters, almost under her breath. She sounds almost shy.

Ethan says, "See, Bruises? Steven's a galliard, so you gotta believe what he says." And now, suddenly, he pushes both feet firm against the floor, rocking the chair onto its back two legs only. There's a jerk of motion that accompanies this, designed to unsettle the perched Gnawer.

Jamethon leans forward, his head across Jarred's shoulder and utters an almost solemn message.

Max's dark eyes snap back over warily, now to the side, to Steven as if she's waiting for the other shoe to drop. That gaze sharpens and she asks, "Hey, blackbeard-rhya. You gotta girlfriend?"

The door creaks open and then slams shut with Allie's arrival. She steps into the farmhouse, appearing relatively tired. At the gathering, however, the philodox seems utterly suprised. "Uh, hi."

Jarred grins sudddenly, shoving at the Get's shoulder mock-roughly. "You jack-ass...I thought you were gonna unload some major attitude on me." He chuckles. "I'll tell him."

As if she'd been waiting for just such a motion from Ethan -- perhaps he's done the same thing before -- Max slides her arm around his neck in an third-Nelson, using him as her anchor as the chair rocks backward joltingly. "Thank you, Richter-boy."

Yi pokes her head around the wall of the stairwell to see the newcomer, and smiles as she recognizes the Strider. "Hello Allie," she calls with a wave of her hand.

Luke grins as his friend arrives. "Allie, heya. Welcome to Grand Central Station."

Steven watches Max careen around on the chair back. "Ethan, even my glib tongue won't save your ass from Megan's wrath if you break her furniture." Allie's arrival is met with a quick evaluation, a frown, and then disinterest.

Jamethon shrugs and smiles ferally and stands to his full imposing height. "Jack-ass? Fuck you chippy, I'm just doing my job."

Kaz waves to Allie, only slightly less chirpily than she might have a month or so ago.

Allie plods over to Luke and smirks. "Grand Central Station?" she muses. "This isn't New York. So, what the hell's going on, anyway?"

Jarred shakes his head at Jamethon with mock-concern. "You're such a Get."

Jamethon frowns a moment in theurge-like contemplation. "And you're... such a Shadow Lord?" He offers with a definatly mocking and sarcastic confusion.

Ethan is, of course, utterly concerned at the moment, caught up in the game of bucking off the Gnawer. He gives a strangled, choking sound as Max gets a grip around his neck. "Can't breathe, get offa me," he complains, but he's obviously just having fun here, protests aside. The chair clunks forward, then gives another jolt backwards, forward and back again, before the inevitable happens: it keeps going backwards, balanced over its center of gravity, and Ethan has just enough time to give a panicked yelp before he, Max, and the chair are all crashing toward the floor.

Yi stands up from her spot on the stairwell and descends, heading towards the door. She waves just briefly, giving the few she knows a nod before departing and holding down a chuckle.

Jarred nods. "Damned straight I am." He turns back to the others. "Last call for the shuttle back to town. Any takers?" He grabs his coat off the edge of the couch and begins putting it on.

Luke says "New cub showed up, and so did everyone else, for that matter. Cub's being given the tour right now. Arizona, I think her name was. Gaian."

"I'll go," Yi replies, already with the door half open. She waits for the Shadow Lord, head tilted just a tad to the side in expectation.

Jamethon glances quickly over at the crashing chair and just shakes his head. "Ethan... how many people do you want after your head?" he mutters and looks to Jarred. "Hey, I've not been in town for a little while, I'll grab a ride if you don't mind a big nasty Get in your precious beauty of a car."

Jarred shrugs. "You should be ok... I scotch-guarded the seats."

Kaz shakes her head. "We got th' van, but thanks f'the offer. Yi, I'll see you 'round, huh?"

"Mm. Yeah, Arizona. I know her," Allie muses. "At least, I've met her." Her eyes move around to the departing, and she just offers a half-hearted wave.

Jamethon only grins and waves back to Kaz as she's looking over at Yi and in his general direction. He then offers a polite dip of his head towards Yi as he walks past the door she has opened.

Luke says "Caught her outside? Or did they pick her up before tonight?"

"Oh fucking hell," Steven swears as the chair topples. He stands up. "Goddamn it you two, pick that thing up and pray it's not damaged." The fostern Fiaana finishes his beer. "Yeah, yeah, I know you're just 14, Ethan, but my God, could you try not to get Megan all pissy? It /is/ half moon, you know."

Kaz calls, "Later, buds," at both Jamethon and Jarred, and remains sitting where she is.

Jarred puts on his gloves and walks out as well, pausing to turn back to the room. "Night everyone." Then, he's gone.

Yi rubs the back of her neck again, then glances at the stairwell and nods to Kaz, stepping out with the others.
