Jay blinks at him and shakes his head. "No.... there's nothing between us... it was a kiss, thats it..." He sighs slightly. "Whats wrong Nevada, c'mon.. for the love of god, just tell me...Your scaring me man."
Nevada just stares.
Nevada starts to giggle a little.
Nevada then swings a fist at Jay's face.
Jay blinks and gets a fist caught right into his chin, his head whipping around to the side as a look of shock fills his eyes.

Nevada isn't smiling anymore. His clothes rip as he twists into Crinos, fur bristling across his shoulders, claws jutting from his fingertips, eyes blazing red. His black lips peel away from a wall of teeth and a vicious snarl.

Jay scoots backwards quickly along the pew as the cub shifts upwards, his own eyes narrowing back. "Nevada, what the fuck are you doing?! Shift down, what the hell?" He stumbles to his feet, backpeddling quickly.
The Crinos Garou leaps onto the pew, the bench groaning under his weight. He storms his way across it to reach Jay, swinging splayed claws at him. He breathes hard, huffing and puffing, his hot breath smelling like blood.
Jay continues to quickly step back, his own cat like agility pushing him hard. **Persuasion** "STOP! Good Gaia! Calm down!" Jason yells back at him. Banes, he can take. Nexus Crawlers, he can take. His own little brother, nope, he won't even raise a fist.
The creak of the door is not even audible when Yi opens it slowly and steps in, only to stop right in the doorway as she sees, well, what she sees. "Nevada!" her voice rings out as she quickly looks behind her, shuts the door as slowly as possible in her rush, and races towards the two, hopping over pews to get to them.
Sheeps claws his way across the pews, his growl a low crackle in his throat. He doesn't seem to react to Jay's voice at all, though the bite aimed at the Ahroun's face falls short, ending as a menacing snap in the air, drool oozing from razor teeth.
Jay swats out with his hand as the failed bite nearly misses him, hoping to connect in a quick pat. **Falling Touch** Hearing Yi, he whips his head over towards her. "Help me, he's gone beserk! I don't know what the fucks wrong!" His eyes are widened, desperate.
Sheeps claws his way across the pews, his growl a low crackle in his throat. He doesn't seem to react to Jay's voice at all, though the bite aimed at the Ahroun's face falls short, ending as a menacing snap in the air, drool oozing from razor teeth.
In little less than two seconds, Yi leaps over about 10 pews before launching into the air and landing right on crinos Nev's back in Glabro. Her stronger arms latch around his neck, legs locking together around his thick blonde furred waist as she yells at him in the Mother tongue. ~Stop it! What are you doing!? Calm down before you break the Veil!~ Her tone is harsh, but trying hard to be persuasive to the enraged gibbous moon. And she's not letting go.
The Ahroun's gift sends the Crinos backwards, crashing over the pew. As he springs back to his feet, gathering the power of his body for a lunge, the Ragabash hammers down on him. He opens his jaws to a bloodcurdling low snarl, his voice sick with fury. He bucks violently, trying to rip Yi from his shoulders.
Moving forward quickly, Jay tears into his Crinos form in a burst of rage. His speed is uncanny, like a blur across the floor as he pulls one hand back, his fingers curling into a fist. Launching out, he lets loose a powerful blow, hoping to send it barreling into the side of the frenzy'n crinos's head, to knock him out. ~Hold him tight Mulan~
Yi does as ordered, with her small arms compared to the two crinos raging around her wrapped as tightly as possible around Nevada's neck. As the furious gibbous bucks, each motion loosens her grip around his waist though her arms grow tighter, almost cutting off the galliard's wind.
Sheeps growls in frustration, trying to throw off the irritating Ragabash. His deep-chested panting has grown labored and shallow, wild like a rabid dog. He looses a snarl and attempts a clawing lunge at the Ahroun as he makes his flying attack. The fist catches him in the eye; there's a slight crunch, and a strangled gasp, and the bristling Crinos rolls its eyes and hits the ground. He reverts back.
One-Rage catches the claw in the shoulder as his fist follows through, taking the young Galliard out for the count. Blood squirts down his fur from the shallow wounds, soaking his brown and silver pelt. ~Fuck... Dammit...~ He curses, shifting down to his glabro form to let the wound slowly start the healing.
Just to put a little fear of Veil breach in people, the front door to the church swings open as all the chaos is occurring. It's just Ethan, though. "Holy shit," he lets out quickly as he slips inside, shutting the door -very- quick behind himself.
Some folks do try to sleep. Not that it works, but still. Joey is one of those people. The fourteen-year-old Gnawer is rubbing bleary eyes as he walks upstairs, muttering something about 'someone keeping the bass up on the boom box.'
Yi hits the floor hard with a crinos atop, but the weight is momentary as Nev reverts to his breed form. For a moment, she lies there with the knocked out teen laying on her winded form, her strong glabro arms still wrapped around his neck. She can't say much, whether out of shock, or having the wind knocked out of her. A slight, salty taste in her mouth tells her of something being cut, probably from impact and jarring.
Jay jumps at Ethan's voice, then whirls around at the door opening and closing behind. He's breathing heavily, his shoulder torn open as he towers in his glabro form of 7' feet. "Shit... Oh man...." Bending over, he picks the knocked out Nevada and places him on the pew, then extends a hand down to his sister.
Ethan leans back against the door to the church, wary and watchful for threat. "Your little cub go psycho or something?"
Nevada sprawls limply, dangling a little. His eyes loll half-open, blank with unconsciousness.
Jay nods his head slowly, taking a deep breath. "Yah... he went off the depe end after he found out that Rina an I had a lil mouth ta' mouth last night.. I don't know why tho'...He...wouldn't tell me.."
Joey walks up the center aisle, catching snatches of voices here and there. He yawns, finally getting a look at Nevada. "Surprised," he mumbles sleepily. "Kid should be used to being dropped on his head." He looks to Jay. "Mouth to mouth, dude?"
Yi swallows a bit of her own blood, tasting with her tongue the cut inside her lip. It'll heal. It's a few seconds later she's finally aware of Jay's hand, and she takes it, hauling herself up via pew support. A short cough follows as she rises and gains her breath back in a huge breath, let out with a slow, painful sigh.
Jay draws Yi into his arms for a moment, hugging her, then glances to Joey and nods his head. "Yah... Um... she came by last night an well....we um...." He shrugs, trying to put this nicely. "Made..out."
Joey just...looks at Jay, for a few long, silent moments. He runs his hand down his face, slowly. "Did we or did we not discuss her last night, Jay?"
Ethan gives Jay a funny look, trying to figure out what that hesitation means. "What, you fucked her?" he asks, oh so casually.
The door to the church opens and Jarred steps back inside.
Yi looks a little dazed to say the least, just concentrating on breathing. After a few more moments, she manages to pant out, "What...happened?"
"No.. I did not fuck her." He says heavily, sitting down next to the knocked out Nevada, checking him over. "We just kissed... we apologized to each other, we had a moment, and that was it. No feelings between us.. just a kiss... a long..damn...good one." He says, feeling his shoulders slump. Jason strokes Nevada's head gently, his fingers running through the blonde hair.
Ethan bumps forward as the church doors start to open with Jarred's arrival. He does a quick to make sure that everyone's in 'mostly' human form before spinning to see who it is. Just Jarred, though, and he's got no problem letting the Shadow Lord in. "Okay, so you didn't fuck her, whatever. Has anyone seen Elan around?"
Joey just continues to look at Jay, face going, in phases, to stone. He does the appropriate response, which is a shrug and a mumbled 'It happens," then looks around to find someone else to talk to. First target found. He ambles over to Ethan, punching him in the shoulder. "Yo, Sketch. Boss ain't 'round, but I got something of yours."
Jarred surveys the damage to the pews, gaze coming to rest on Jay and the unconscious Nevada. He walks forward slowly, saying nothing.
Jay glances over to Jarred as his brown orbs sparkle slightly, then glance away. Taking off his jacket, he wraps it around Nevada's naked frame and sighs to himself.
Ethan really isn't paying all that much attention to the scuffle. He's a Get. Cub smackdowns are just part of cubhood, as far as he's concerned. "Yeah, what've you got, Joey? And damn. I needed to talk to him about stuff tonight, getting some stuff done."
Yi feels the healing bruise on her lip, glancing up at the arrivals with a quiet air. Her eyes travel down to Nevada and she shakes her head softly before looking up at Jay. "That kin, just seems to continue to plague you with trouble," she observes softly before kneeling beside the pew to check Nev's face.
Jarred squats down near Nevada, touching him lightly. He looks up to Jay, face neutral, and whispers. "What happened?"
Jay whispers softly to Jarred.
Julie pushes her way inside, a styrofoam take-out container in hand. "Yo, El..." She pauses, and eyes the gathered, her gaze narrowing.
Jarred closes his eyes, continuing to whisper to the Gnawer Ahroun.
"He'll prolly be around," Joey says. For just having woken up, the Ragabash is now in some sort of mood. He just scowls at some thought he has. He has thoughts, contrary to popular belief, and leans in towards Ethan to whisper.
Jay shakes his head to Jarred, pushing himself up, then starts heading for the door, sighing heavily. "No Jarred.. I'm the one who fucked up."
Julie says "Hey, what the fuck's goin' on?" She tosses the container aside onto the floor by the door, and heads for those gathered around the fallen. "An' where's Elan?" The Gnawer Galliard starts muttering as she kneels, "Shit goin' down in his house without him here..."
Distracted or not, a lightbulb goes off above Ethan's head. He looks around, and mumbles something back to Joey.
Jarred gets up to follow Jay out.
"Elan isn't here Heartsight.. its just us." Jason replies as he strides out the door, kicking the door open, then fades out into the street, looking quite frustrated and pissed off, but at himself.
Yi remains hunched down next to Nevada. She straightens briefly to look at Julie, her darkish eyes and healing bruise on her face probably telling of the gist of the story. Her eyes gaze after the ahroun and Shadow Lord with concern, but she turns back down to the unconscious cub lying on the pew.
Joey looks a little surprised. Oh, now he has Ethan's attention. He nods quietly, whispering back to the Get after flashing Jay a not-quite-pleasant look behind the Ahroun's back as he passes.
Julie frowns, glancing at those high-tailing it out the door, then back down at Nev. A hand pressed to his neck, checking his pulse. "Was he homid when he went down, 'r shifted?" She could tell there had been a fight, and most likely involving shifted forms.
Ethan nods a little at what Joey says, with a quietly muttered, "Yeah, it's cool." He peeks over at the downed cub, those gathered there, before extending a hand toward Joey for something.
Yi growls, a little irritated by the whispering between the two garou off to the side. ~If you've got something to say about Jay, tell him in his face. It's impolite to whisper when there are others around.~ Turning to Julie, she nods to Nevada. "Crinos," she replies simply.
Joey looks around quietly, casually. No one's paying attention to Joey, as is usual for the boy. he slips a hand back into his pocket, producing something he hands off to Ethan calmly but quickly. "I ever say thanks?"
And, a certain little baggie gets passed from Joey to Ethan, and from there finds its way into Ethan's jacket pocket. "Nah, but it's cool. You see Elan, tell him I wanted to do that, uh, you know what before Thursday night. We're fighting Dancers then." It's only now that he redirects his attention past Joey to Yi, giving her a funny, confused look.
Julie winces, then. "Gettim downstairs, then, an' inna room. He cou'd freak ag'in when he wakes." She then looks at Ethan and Joey. "Yo, like she said. Can the damn whisperin', this ain't no moot, an' it ain't no frickin' teeny-bobber swap-o-malt!" The Gnawer gal eyes Joey, pinning him where he is. "An' no secrets..." The last hissed.
Joey turns around, apparently so not in the mood. "Ok, we'll start. This was nothing about Jay. I can talk to him myself. Second, I'm just returning something that don't belong to me."
Yi nods to Julie, rising to her feet. She picks up the still knocked out galliard easily, hoisting him with Jay's jacket wrapped around the cub. Joey's response is met with a low grunt, and the newmoon disappears downstairs with Nevada in tow.
((Long distance to Nevada: Yi puts Nevada downstairs in a room. :)
From afar, Nevada nods :) ))
Ethan rolls his eyes, with his hands stuffed down in his pockets. "Yeah, like I could care less who beats the crap out of your cubs. You guys can do whatever you want to the kid, I don't care."
Julie's gaze shifts between the two as she straightens, getting out of Yi's way. "I ain't playin' no games. An' you..." she thrusts a finger toward Ethan. "Yer in Gnawer Territory, so I suggest you keep yer lip civil, I don't care who you think you are. Gottit?"
Ethan shifts a look toward Joey, one of those 'is she out of her skull?' looks. "Uh, what the hell are you talking about? I came down here looking for Elan, period. I didn't say shit about anyone, I didn't start shit with anyone, and I'm not taking shit from anyone for it. I mean, Christ, I do enough stuff to piss people off, why you gotta go getting pissed when I didn't even -do- anything?"
Julie growls, a quick way of getting her anger under control. "I ain't blind, an' I ain't stupid. Hangin' over a downed cub, whisperin', an' passin' shit t' each other. You wanna think it ain't shit? How 'bout I try the same on 'yer' turf."
Yi returns from the basement, her heavier steps thumping against the wood as she climbs them. The tension from rage is still think in the air, and the waxing gibbous moon is not making it any better. With that in mind, she shifts down, moves to the far end of the church near the door in the shadowed pews, and sits down to think. Her eyes still watch the trio though, a bit colder and harder than usual.
Joey just shakes his head, trying not to get annoyed. He starts to say something, stops, then starts again. "Oddly enough, it had nothing to do with Nev, either. What do ya think we're doing?"
Ethan's glance slides right off of Joey and right back on Julie. "Are you out of your skull?" he asks, a more direct question now. "I wasn't 'hanging' over any cub, I didn't do a damn thing to Nevada. I told you. I came here looking for Elan, period. Joey returned something I'd left here, period. You got a problem with that, fucking challenge me over it, I don't care, but this is bullshit. I didn't -do- anything, and I don't even plan on sticking around. I can't believe I get shit for things I didn't even do!"
Julie shakes her head. "It looked like shit, okay? Ain't no one said what the hell's goin' on, a buncha cubs hangin' 'round a fallen comrade, a Ranker whisperin' like it's jus' a walk inna park, an' stuff passed in secret. If'n you walked in on this, an' asked what the hell was goin' on, an' didn't get an' answer, you'd be pissed, too." It isn't wind going out of her sails, just some common sense finally filtering in.
Yi gets up with a quiet sigh, and heads out of the church. The tension had passed is still ringing in her head, like the shock of her two Gnawer brothers attacking each other. With a quiet creak, the door open and shuts as she slips out.
Jermantown Avenue, Industrial Sector
From warehouses a few blocks away from the river, across a chunk of city more than a dozen blocks wide, factories brood over the streets like dark dragons over their piles of treasure, greedy and all-encompassing. Huddling around the factories are smaller, less imposing buildings that are probably warehouses, or storage locations for trucks. The factories spill fumes into the air, darkening the area and blanketing it in a stench to mark humankind's domination over the world. Some of the warehouses stand empty, some are boarded over, and some, on the northern and western fringes of the area, have been converted to bars, with bizarre lighting, frequent brawls, and music that blares loudly at all hours of the night. There are no residences here for anyone to complain, and the factory workers populate the bars thickly. Throughout the area, trash and oil mingle together on alleyway streets, impeding the paths to the dumpsters at the ends of many of the alleys.

Jay nods his head at his words, trying to let a smile form upon his lips, but its lost as he hears the doors of the church close behind him. Glancing over his shoulder, he turns around to face Yi.
Jarred gazes over at Yi intently.
((From afar, Jarred is using Mindspeak to ask Yi to be supportive. He's got Jay almost back to normal.
Jarred pages: He's afraid his friends are turning on him because he fucked up. He needs people to tell him that's not so.))
Yi shuts the door with a sigh, her eyes closed a moment and not realizing she just walked in on two more. When her eyes finally open, they settle on the two, and then down to Jay.
Jay feels her eyes meet his for a moment, then draws them away with a sigh.
Jarred watches Yi intently, his eyes communicating a lot.
"He's going to be fine, Jay," Yi finally offers up a report on Nev's condition like a doctor. "He may not even remember what happened." She strides over slowly, and sits down on the stair nearest to the two. Her eyebrows raise just a moment, gaze glancing over to Jarred. She blinks once, then offers a small nod to the Shadow Lord before turning back to her brother, looking up at him softly, calmly, waiting for him to say -something-.
"Yah.. I hope so.." The Ahroun says with worry as lines burrow into his forehead. Slipping onto the stairs, he sits down, drawing a knee to his chest as a sigh passes by his lips. "I hope he tells me whats going on..I don't know why he just flipped out like that, it doesn't make sense."
Jarred says "There's gotta be something deeper, man. *Much* deeper. I have no idea what, though."
Ethan bails on the church scene, places to go, people to see, things to do. He hurries past, hands stuffed in his pockets and watching the sidewalk as he goes.
Yi runs a hand through her hair, glinting with highlights under the gibbous moon. She pauses, watching the Get hurry past, then turns back to Jay and gazes directly at the ahroun. "I'll ask him when he wakes up," she offers, not sure what else to say. "The moon is one for galliards. It may be something that was bothering him, and it took the light of the moon to bring it out. At least it did not stay like a hole eating at him." Her hand gently reaches over and squeezes one of Jay's. "Whatever it is, though, I am sure it is not your fault."
Jay watches Ethan go about his way, then stands up, looking to Yi as his hand slips into hers, squeezing back just as gently. His eyes glance to hers for a moment, nodding, then smiles. "Well, I just hope to get the answer sooner or later...I guess I'm going to go back in."
Jarred turns and walks back into the church, smiling.
Yi stands up, looking at Jay and waiting for him. "Let's go see if he is awake," she says quietly, a smile quirking the edge of her lip.
Jay nods his head as he tugs gently on her hand, then heads inside the church.
You climb the seven stairs, noting the huge bannisters, and push on the splintered double doors. They creak open a little, and you step into the echoing draftiness of the old church.

Street Basement
Jay follows after Jarred, with Yi in tow behind him.
Joey steps forward once to kneel before his Elder. From his sleeve, he slips out a butterfly knife, flipping it open before slamming the point into the floorboards between them. "Six months," he says, unafraid. "Six months says that i can get Ethan into a pack with me, where he /ain't/ my Alpha."
Yi closes the door quietly behind her, only to tense up at the sight of the light glinting on the whipped out knife before it slams into the floor.
Shadow Eyes takes that bet and raises you pizza for six months.
Shadow Eyes does think you can do it, though. He wags his tail. It will be good to have a scout pack in the city to do what we cannot. Who will you ask for your totem companion?
Unbeknownst to Joey, his very actions, in Julie's mind, quickly and effectively relegated her to Omega status, despite the fact they weren't even a pack. Against the wall she crouches, and hangs her head, though she does wave listlessly to thsoe entering.
Jay smirks as he listens to the bet going on, glancing over to Joey with a grin. "Hey Rhya, Joey, Julie." He says in turn as he kneels down next to Shadow Eyes, rubbing his ears with his strong hands, giving him a good scritch.
"Nuh-uh," Joey says, a wicked grin crossing his face. "See, Ethan's been gabbing. He was here 'cause you and he had business, and I all know what you're getting him for his birthday. I win, I get the pizza, and the same treatment you're giving him."
Shadow Eyes yips and wags his tail. He slurps Jay, then pads over to Julie. Soon we will pack, sister singer.
Yi, at the sight of the elder, remembers something from the afternoon and reaches into the front pocket of her sweatshirt. She draws out a small, wrinkled business card. With a return wave, she re-greets Julie in the corner before walking down the aisle. "Elan-rhya, there was someone who wanted to speak with you today. A Doctor Alec... Alec..." she pauses for a moment, then remembers, hey, his name's on the card. "Alec St. Jean."
Julie murmurs quietly, "That's quite a bet yer gonna lose, Boss..." A subtle grin to him, then a shrug at his wolf-speak.
Jay smiles and casts his gaze over to Joey for a moment, then back towards his sister as he pushes up to his feet.
Shadow Eyes flicks his ears. I have heard of him. He blurs up to homid to look at the card.
Yi hands over the card, adding to her message, "He wanted to speak to you about the hospital. Also mentioned he would come back another time, since the hospital would be 'too hairy' for you to go and speak to him there." The last bit she says with a bit of puzzlement, not understanding the term.
Julie mutters something about Kin hanging around Infestations.
Elan nods at that and points to Julie. "The hospital, Yi, is the source of a tremendous Bane infestation. I'll talk to him soonest."
Jay scratches the back of his head a bit, then shrugs his shoulders. Looking to each in turn, he lets out a slight huff.
Joey is still kneeling on the ground, in front of where Elan was. But, eh realizes this is more important, and leans against the seat of the pew as he waits.
Julie glances at Jay, cocking her head with a curious expression. She is still crouched against the wall.
Yi reaches up and fuzzes her brother's hair, giggling softly before returning to the calm, friendly look she dons. Another thought occurs to her, and she quirks her head at the Gnawer elder, "There seems to be a lot of activity tonight." She doesn't mention what happened just minutes before, but notes, "Is there something going on?"
Jay stretches up his arms, swiveling himself from side to side as a number of joints pop, then slips down into a pew, leaning back some. He finds his hair mussed by the Asian and a smirk touches his features.
Jarred suddenly looks a little uncomfortable in the midst of all of the Gnawers. "I think I'm gonna head for home, guys... have a good one..." he turns to leave.
Julie grunts, glancing at Jarred. "You too, man."
Jay glances over to Jarred and waves a hand to him. "I'll call you tonight ok? Stay outta trouble."
Yi nods to the Shadow Lord, an eyebrow and a smile rising to see him depart. "Good bye Jarred," she calls after.
Jarred nods to the Gnawers and smiles, walking out.
Joey listens for a few more minutes, then pries his knife out of the flor, flips it back into place, puts it back in his pocket, andnheads for the door.
Julie pings Joey with a small rock she found on the floor in front of her. "Don't ferget yer dinner..." and she's gazing up toward him from her crouch.
Jay glances over to Joey and sighs heavily, feeling his shoulders slump once. "Ya taking off Joey?"
Elan finishes with the others, then goes over to the corner to get some bags of fast food that are sitting over there. "The rest of you guys can come back later. Right now I need to prepare a ritual area." With that, he begins to etch a large circle with blue chalk on the bare floor near what used to be the altar.
Kaz and Joseph push in the church doors, Kaz fairly familiarly, Joseph undoutedly not. The Wendigo has a trenchcoat on, perhaps to blend in. From afar, to the room, Kaz spells that right.
Joey looks behind him, and finally spots the food. He wavers for a moment, caught between the rudeness of refusing hospitality, and a total lack of appetite, right now. "Thanks, Julie," he says, the latter winning over. He picks up the container, and starts to walk out. Jay gets s shrug as the Ragabash passes. "maybe," he says. "If'n I lose my bet, I just might."
Jay blinks once, then follows right after him, grabbing Yi by the hand, tugging to follow.
Julie works her way to a stand, slowly, and moves to where Elan is working, though staying well clear. "You need some help?"
Joseph wears the trench fairly awkwardly, but he doesn't take it off just yet. His surroundings get looked over carefully, the Wendigo's eyes wider, more surprised than one might expect, even from this woods Garou.
Elan hands Julie a couple of hotdogs. "Not right now, I need to prepare this to mirror in the Umbra, then..." He turns and grins to see Kaz and Joseph. "Sista! Joe-the-Teacher! Come on in. Just about to pass over and get ready to summon Her."
Kaz watches Joey out of sight with a frown. "Well, fuck," she mutters, and heads over to Julie.
Julie takes the hotdogs with a brief grin, then nods. "Cool." She's turning, then, and handing one of the dogs to Kaz, and offering the other to Joseph. "Hungry?"
Kaz takes one gleefully, and adds some Ding Dongs, some Chinese from her backpack, and a Hershey's bar to the pile arising.

Joey doesn't really move, and flicks off a bit of ash. "Well...it's not black and white. You said Nevada flew off the handle. That why?"
Jay shakes his head. "I don't know why he flew off the handle...all he was doing was giggling like a lunatic..an he was like. 'Rina? You say.. Rina?' Then rarr.. he went crinos on me.
Yi steps out of the church with a quiet shutting of the door. She didn't want to disturb the pack to be inside, busy with their totem quest. Joey hrms, frowning. "See, the other night, and I remember more than folks think. I...kind of remember Nev standing up for you when..."
Joey says "When Rina walked in, or something like that."
Jay shakes his head at that. "I don't know.. no one told me a thing.. I had no clue Rina knew Nevada."
Joey perks. "Oh, I think he knew when she walked in. I...think."
Jay nods his head to Joey and sighs, nudging him slightly. "Just...keep your head up ok? I'm ganna be avoiding her altogether as much as possible, really.. at least until after the full moon, I need ta' get my head straight." With that, he turns, heading down the sidewalk, waving to him. "Later... come by my place t'night if you want, I'll treat you to dinnah."
Joey taps the container. "Got mine," he says. "But thanks."
Yi meanwhile stands at the top of the stairs, and waves to Jay silently.
Jay nods his head as he waves to him, then turns around, heading off, hiding the long sigh that passes his lips.
Yi descends the stairs, and pauses so she's near eye level to the other ragabash gnawer. With a smile, she nods to him. "Thanks for talking to him," she says. "Maybe sometime, when you form that pack of yours, if I'm not packed I might join you. Let me know, na?" Her smile widens, and she walks past him towards her workplace, the chinese restaurant a bit further uptown.
Joey looks a bit surprised at this. "It can happen," he says. "Thought you hated my guts."
Yi turns, chuckling softly and shaking her head. "No," she replies with her simple tone, "I've better things to do, than direct my hate towards a tribal brother... like channeling that energy towards fighting the Wyrm."
