Forgotten Church(#1801RAJLM)
The old church is dark, dimly lit by outside light coming in through scum-encrusted windows during the day, and tomblike during the night. There is a coatroom in the back of the nave, with separate doors leading off to mens' and womens' restrooms, and two staircases, one going up to the balcony and bell-tower, and the other leading down to the basement. The double doors leading out to the street are at the back of the coatroom.
The hard wooden pews in the sanctuary are, for the most part, still intact. There are even Bibles and hymnals left in the shelves along the back of each row, although many of them look rather chewed on. The altar on a dais at the front of the church is empty, and the lectern that once stood next to it has been knocked over. Rotting red cloth hangs at the very front of the church; there might once have been a design on it, but it has long since faded or been eaten away.

Street Basement

Jarred pokes his head in the door. "Anyone home?"

Yi looks up from her thoughts, turning around in the pew to see Jarred and waves. "Hello Jarred," she greets.

Jarred enters, catching sight of Yi. "I, uh... just stopped by to check on Nevada. How is he doing?"

"I'm not sure," Yi replies honestly. "I haven't gone back down to the basement since last night, but I've been waiting for him to come up from downstairs."

Yi runs a hand through her hair, glancing at the Shadow Lord before turning back to face the altar and stairwell. "I don't know what is wrong," she starts softly, "I've been trying to understand all day, why Nevada would be so angry." She draws up a knee and sits with one foot on the pew, leg held close to her body. "It bothers me, seeing Jay and Nevada not in good spirits."

The door to the church opens and the warrior heads inside. His hair is slicked back and hairsprayed to a nice shell. Brillant brown orbs glisten slightly as he glances over towards the two, clearing his throat a bit. "Hey guys.." Jason says softly.

Jarred nods. "Well, Jay is feeling better, but it's killing him that Nevada is so mad. He doesn't understand it, and I need to figure out what's going on. They're too close to let this go on as it is."

Yi looks up, seeing her brother and smiling a little. "Hello Jay," she greets him, a little dispirited but cheered to see the full moon.

Jay waves as hand tentaivly in the air to the two, catching the last bit of the conversation. "So, ya'll talking 'bout me eh?"

Jarred smiles. "Actually, yeah."

Yi gazes between the two, then looks back towards the stairway. "Nevada hasn't come up yet. He is probably still asleep." She rises to her feet from the pew. "Want to check on him?" Her soft gaze settles more on Jay, hinting that he ought to go down and maybe see if Nevada will talk.

Jay dips his head in a nod as he wets his lips in a slight regard. "Sure.. I'll go down there.." Heaving his shoulders upwards, he turns, striding for the basement door, heavy boots thumping along the dead wood of the church fast.

Jarred watches silently, carefully neutral.

Yi glances briefly at Jarred, then follows Jay down towards Nev's spot downstairs.

Jarred pulls a leg up to his chest and gazes at the crumbling altar, deep in thought.

Forgotten Church Basement(#1279RJLM)
This basement is only partly below ground level, and there are windows evenly spaced on the walls, right below the ceiling level. The main part of it is a large open area with a small kitchen in one corner and a large, ratty carpet in the center, covering the cement floor. There is a rather large window in the kitchen; it looks as though it might actually open onto the street. On the wall opposite the kitchen is a large bin, and there are folding tables along the wall perpendicular to it. On the other wall there are a few folding chairs, many fewer than one would expect from the number of tables. A hallway next to the kitchen leads off to two offices and what once might have been a classroom.

Yi heads into one of the offices, where she'd laid Nevada down last night. Before entering, she softly calls into the room from the doorway, "Nevada? Are you awake?"
