Rotem is currently in lupus, laying asleep upon the counter of the kitchenette. His tail is wagging in his sleep, his head resting on his front paws.
Yi unlocks the basement door with a click, entering in without any visible keys it would seem. Shutting the door behind her, she descends the stairs with a soft exhale of breath. Her own eyes adjusting to the dimmer lighting of the basement, she glances around for any occupants, mostly expecting to see at least one.
Rotem rolls over in his sleep, falling to the ground with a thud. His eyes flash open as he hops to his feet, ears at attention as he tries to discern what knocked him off his countertop. He looks to Yi for a moment, then shakes his head, too far away.
Yi bites her lip slightly as the thud brings her eyes around from the countertop to the floor. Hiding her snicker, she walks up to the kitchenette and glances down at the lupus. "So. How was the fight training yesterday?"
Yi smirks, opening up a cupboard and taking out a couple sticks of Slim Jims. Offering one of the jerkysticks to the lupus, she leans against the countertop. "Good enough. There's always cheaters in real fights."
Rotem shakes his head from side to side. Junior go crinos. Go crinos too. Junior target, knives. At this point Rotem's tail continues its wagging and he bounces off cheerily to the hole in the floor that elan pointed out, to do his buisness.
Yi isn't bothered by the natural act of Nature, but gets a little confused by Rotem's stumbling lupus speech. She shrugs it away, chewing upon a strip of dried beef while waiting for the cub to do his business.
Rotem returns from doing his buisness and sits down on the ground by Yi's legs. What today do? Want meet others.
Yi resumes her chewing while thinking about what exactly to do today. Not a fullmoon, so not much danger there. Still...she isn't sure. "Could work a bit on your forms, maybe. If you want to run around in lupus, I guess you need a cubname." So far as she knows, there's no word for 'Rotem' in lupus. Eyeing the cub, her eyebrow arches appraisingly.
Rotem shakes his head, Cubname? he asks, ears twitching slightly.
Yi tilts her head just barely in a nod. "A name so when you introduce yourself, you have a name that lupus born can understand as well."
Rotem nods softly. Guido understand name, name... he pauses as he realises he doesn't know how to say his name in lupus. Guido know.
Yi finishes off her small snack and tilts her head at the cub. "Banecruncher gave you a name?
Rotem shakes his head, Banecruncher understand name in homid.
Yi mmhms softly, looking around the basement... maybe for that little thing called 'inspiration.'
Rotem sniffs softly at the air and lays back down, tail wagging still, each time his ear twitches the green line upon it moving as well. He's lucky he can not see in colour or he might notice how ridiculous he looks.
Yi furrows her brow slightly, thinking for a name. She's not that wordy with her own, finding Three-Blades suitable for quite a long time now. It may or may not be a good thing that she doesn't have a job to rush her breaks now. "Well, what do /you/ want for your name?"
Rotem arches an eyebrow, a distinctly human gesture for a lupus to make. He closes his eyes and thinks about it. What does cubname come from? What your cubname?
Yi thinks back to when she was a cub, what name her elders had given her. Lots. All of various connotations. "Well they just call me Three-Blades now. It has been my name for awhile." She chews on her lip, tasting the remanants of salt from the strip of beef jerky.
Rotem wags his tail softly, Why three blades? he asks, moving then to pace back and forth across the basement, always feeling constricted in here.
Yi sighs, the memories of how she earned that name coming back. "My street name, from a long time ago. My first change involved a lot of killing too. Three members of a gang, all of them having one sword each. I killed them all the first time I changed. That's why."
Rotem paces the room slowly. I no know. Must have name?
Yi shakes her head. "Not really. I don't think we'll go very far today. So.. if you really want to go out, what about a short walk around the city?" She smirks a little. "Then again, you probably don't want to wear a leash."
Rotem looks towards the door of the basement, considering for a moment before turning towards her. Leash, no muzzle. Ok.
Yi nods slowly, perhaps berating herself for doing yet another thing on a whim. Probably going to run into trouble again, she thinks. "Stay there while I find something." She heads into the back classrooms, looking for some rope or twine of sorts.
Rotem bounces happilly, walking back and forth across the room still, his tail wags from side to side, as he moves towards the steps, sitting down now in front of them, more then ready to get out of here.
Yi reappears, having successfully found some form of rope that would be long enough to serve as a makeshift leash and collar. "Ok, hold still." She loops the rope around Rotem's neck, tying a slipknot tightly though leaving plenty of space for breathing room.
Rotem scampers off up the steps the moment she ties the knot, quickly choking himself as he gets up the fourth step and the rope pulls tight.
Yi grips the rope tightly, looping it around her wrist once before pulling on it. "Hey, behave." She waits for her 'wolf on a leash' to settle down before climbing up the stairs and closing up the basement door.
You climb up the stairs to the ground floor of the church.

Rotem appears at the top of the basement stairwell. Rotem has arrived.
There's the soft thumping of a fist upon the outside of the wall, then a soft voice carrying over through the room. "Hello...? Jay? Nevada?"
Rotem hobbles up the steps and into the isle, blinking as he looks at Audrey. Who she? he asks, pulling on the rope lightly. He sniffs the air, trying to get used to her scent.
Yi pauses, quickly pulling on the leash to get Rotem back to her side. "Stop pulling so hard," she hisses at the greenstriped dog before sighing and heading towards the tarp. Pulling back the plastic vinyl, she peers around and looks for the source of the voice.
Rotem pulls against the leash still, keeping it fairly tight as he tries to scamper forwards, not content with Yi's pace.
Upon hearing the voice, the soft female's voice once more trickles inside. "Jay? Who's there?" A young woman, possibly around the age of twenty-two or so comes into view of the light, one hand placed over a round stomach, showing the early signs of pregnancy.
Yi would growl loudly, instantly regretting her decision to let Rotem out of the basement. She pulls HARD on the leash, the slipknot allowing the rope around Rotem's neck to tighten..quickly. Still, she eyes the woman, while trying to control her 'dog'. "Hi." Simple greeting, though a little strained in polite cheerfulness.
Rotem turns around, walking back towards Yi in a calm and slow motion. His tail wags still, his movements cheerful for a dog.
Audrey clears her throat a bit, shifting on her feet, looking slightly nervous in the prescence of rage. Biting her lip, she softly oh's. "Nevermind... Sorry, didn't mean ta' intrude. Was jus'looking fo'a friend." She mummers quietly, one hand reaching up to toy with the thick strands of brown which dance past her shoulders.
Yi sighs softly, fist clenched around the rope as Rotem's tail whaps her leg constantly. "Jay's...not here anymore." Simple answer to an unasked question.
Rotem continues circling Yi, slowly still, sniffing various spots on the ground that he finds interesting, spending some extra time on the can of beer on the floor.
Audrey glances over to the odd looking dog/lupine and takes a step back, face blanching a bit. It looks like she may throw up. "Oh?" She says, clearing her throat. "Figures..." Her hand runs along the mainstream of her stomach, taking a deep breath.
Yi glances down at the woman's stomach, though it's a casual glance to fulfill some curiosity. "He's gone. Permanently..." she adds, keeping up with Rotem by switching hands that hold the leash to not get wrapped around. "Why are you looking for him?"
Rotem wanders over towards Audrey, moving to sniff her legs, he tries to be as non-threatening as possible. His tail continues its incessent wagging.
"You know him well or something?" She asks, trying to come across confident, but failing completely. "He.. Well....I.." She stammers. "He's my boyfriend, or..ex.. I guess.. I haven't seen him in a few months, I'm worried... um... and his son is on the way.." Audrey says softly, edging towards the door instinctivly.
Yi looks, well, surprised. "Jay's...son?" Her voice of inquiry stammers a little. "Well... ah... he's..." she looks down at Rotem, trying to get the cub to stop shifting around so much. "He's..." her tone is reluctant to say.
Audrey gives a half shrug slightly. "Don't worry, figured as much." She says, finishing the Asian as she bites her lip hard, then heads for the door. "Figured... jerk.."
"Dead." Yi finishes her own sentence, fist clenching tightly on the rope leash. "Died a couple months ago."
The tarp swishes around to reveal a tired, worn-out blond youth, a brown bag in his denim-jacketed arms. He isn't watching where he's going
Audrey pauses, drawing in a deep breath, turning around to Yi, not catching sight of Nevada. "Dead... He's.... dead..?" She says, her mouth parting a bit, showing her shock. "Dead...?"
Rotem casually shoves his head under Audrey's dress, acting like a dog who hasn't been trained, his tail wagging still, trying to ignore the rope around his neck.
Yi nods in affirmative, swallowing her own emotions about the situation, and bodily HEAVES Rotem away from the woman. This time, she really does growl at the cub, a poor imitation but the warning is there. As she looks up, Nevada comes into view and her throat just tightens more.
Nevada stops short, nearly colliding with Yi -- wait. Not Yi. He blinks, looks from one face to another. "... Are you Audrey?" he asks, Adam's apple bobbing once. He makes no sign at even seeing Rotem's little exploration.
Rotem stumbles backwards as the rope cuts off his air supply, he scampers back to Yi, moving to sit down with a wimper. His tail stops wagging for once as he looks up at Yi.
Audrey turns around, nearly jumping at the familar voice over the phone. Tears break her brown eyes, lips trembling. Her flesh has gone ghostly white, ignoring the actions of the cub, failing to even remember he's there.
Yi's stare at Rotem's eyes tell him he better settle down now, or end up back in the basement. Then, she glances back up to Audrey and Nevada. "You know her?" Yi asks warily. This isn't exactly a place for pregnant human women to be.
Nevada shifts the groceries in his arms, looking a little like he might drop them right there for a second. He settles them onto a pew, clears his throat, and gives a reassuring half-smile, All American. "Welcome to the First Assembly of Dog, ma'am," he says softly. "It's good to finally meet you.. I'm Nevada."
"Dog.." She stammers, not getting it, her mind still reeling as she wipes at her face. Now with Nevada's prescence, Audrey is looking even more nervous, and about to throw up due to the curse. "I.. I need some air.." She says, pushing her way past the tarp and outside.
Rotem whines, a high pitched canine whine. He then settles down to lay on his forepaws, his tongue hanging slightly out of his mouth.
Yi sighs and gives Nevada a look. "Make sure she doesn't hang around too long," the cliath newmoon says before tugging slightly on Rotem's leash. "Let's go."
Nevada sidesteps smoothly, letting the young woman pass. He doesn't say anything to Yi, only nods, turning a look after Audrey. He moves to follow after she has gone.
You pull open one of the two doors and walk down the stone steps to the street.
Jermantown Avenue, Industrial Sector
From warehouses a few blocks away from the river, across a chunk of city more than a dozen blocks wide, factories brood over the streets like dark dragons over their piles of treasure, greedy and all-encompassing. Huddling around the factories are smaller, less imposing buildings that are probably warehouses, or storage locations for trucks. The factories spill fumes into the air, darkening the area and blanketing it in a stench to mark humankind's domination over the world. Some of the warehouses stand empty, some are boarded over, and some, on the northern and western fringes of the area, have been converted to bars, with bizarre lighting, frequent brawls, and music that blares loudly at all hours of the night. There are no residences here for anyone to complain, and the factory workers populate the bars thickly. Throughout the area, trash and oil mingle together on alleyway streets, impeding the paths to the dumpsters at the ends of many of the alleys.

Filthy Alley Forgotten Church East West
Rotem comes out of the old church and down the stone steps to the street. Rotem has arrived.
Rotem scampers along, pulling Yi slightly as he walks up to the parked truck and lifts his leg, marking the left rear wheel. His tail has resumed its wagging oncemore, does it ever stop?
Yi makes sure the woman and Nevada are far enough away before actually speaking lowly to the cub. "Ok, understand this..." She squats down and looks Rotem straight in the eyes. "If you mess up out here, I have every right to kill you. Understand? Don't think that because you are a cub, you get special treatment." She glances around, seeing only a few people eyeing Rotem's bright green stripes before moving on and whipsering amongst themselves about it. "And stop peeing on everything. You are marking territory when you do. If you have to go, do it next to the gutter."
Rotem shakes his head. Who territory this? No smell, smell trash. His tail as stopped wagging and his eyes have lowered.
Yi shrugs and stands, feeling better now that she's properly warned the cub. "You wanted out, and here you are. Just keep in mind the rules while you run around." She rewraps the rope around her wrist and starts walking. "We'll head over to the park, and I'll let you go there if it's safe."
Rotem wanders towards the park, more slowly now, staying beside Yi, not wanting to get her mad at him. He stops for a moment and looks to her. What allowed other dogs?
Yi nods, just lowly talking as if she were sorting out her thoughts, quieting down when people pass the two by. "You've seen dogs. Don't do anything stupid... like looking up women's dresses. It won't be my fault if you get kicked." They continue along, for all the world looking like some ghetto teen walking a stray, and eventually reach the park boundaries where people walking along the sidewalk simply stare at the unlikely combination of Rotem and Yi.
bor Park Meadow(#194RJ)
One of the last bastions of green left in the city, occasionally mottled and withered grass and weeds covers the earth like a badly stained carpet. The vegetation seems marginally healthier the further it is from the river and much healthier towards the central area of the park around the fountain. Overpowering the scent of living vegetation are the exhaust fumes from a busy street to the west and an unpleasant stench from the Columbia River to the east. A rusted chain link fence delineates the territorial boundaries between the park and the encroaching city. Unchecked hedges and vines interweave through the fence, as if the park wanted to distance itself from the city--or the local community wanted to distance itself from the eerie park. Despite the foliage, the majority of the open meadow is easily seen. People in tall buildings or on boats have an excellent view of any goings-ons. In the center of the park, a small glade of six tall trees and a flower bed surrounds a lovely... plywood barricade.
The murky waters of the Columbia River flow swiftly along the east side of the park. Bracketing the park to the west is First Street and the city of St. Claire.

Rotem scampers towards the park as they near it he stops at the enterance and looks to Yi. Do anything dogs do, nothing else. Yes?
Yi nods, and stoops down to unloop the rope around the green striped dog. She pauses before letting him go, telling him softly. "Just remember what I said. And stay /inside/ the park. If I have to chase you, you will be sorry." Standing up, she looks around at the people passing and sighs. "Go."
Rotem turns and runs into the park as fast as he can, considerable speed for even a dog. He bounds off across the park stopping suddendly to pull at some grass with his jaw, then running off oncemore. After a few minutes he stops dead in his tracks as he sees someone playing frisbee with a friend.
Yi watches the cub tear off into the park, slowly following after to make sure he doesn't really screw up. For the most part, people find his green-ness strange, maybe even funny. But as he approaches most of them try to avoid contact with the dog.
Rotem dissapears into the bushes, tail wagging even more then usual. A brief rustling can be seen, and then he darts back out, jumping up to snatch the frisbee from the other man. He then proceeds to walk back to the person who threw it, walking slowly and putting the frisbee down at his feet. He assumes they will think he was just playing fetch.
The man starts as Rotem comes tearing out of the bush and snaps the frisbee out of the air. "Hey!" He cries out indignantly, though as Rotem returns with the frisbee and lays the plastic disk at his feet, he warily reaches down to take the toy back, eyeing the dog. "Go on. Outta here. Go back to your master." He waves the frisbee at the dog.
Rotem rowls at the man, baring his teeth for a moment, but then turns and scampers away. As the man throws the frisbee again Rotem grabs it oncemore, and this time runs to the bushes. He'll be damned if the prick is getting his disc back. A brief rustle in the bushes, and then Rotem emerges oncemore, without the frisbee.
"Hey!" The man and his friend both turn towards the green dog, then look at each other. Well, their frisbee has to be there somewhere. "The fuck'd you do with my frisbee mutt?!" Both men head towards the bushes, trying to search out the frisbee.
Rotem snickers to himself, laughter filling his mind, but he resists to bite the man in the ass. He wanders across the yard and watches the two. Even if they do dig it up, it wont fly very well in two pieces.
Yi narrows her eyes as she spots Rotem, then the two men who /were/ playing frisbee now wading through the bush, around the bush, searching out the man's possession. Great... She wanders towards the two men, who are digging up the frisbee at the moment, only to find it in a few pieces too many. "FUCK!" cries the man, throwing down the torn up plastic disk with a glare that could scare a snake. "Where's that fuckin' dog?!" He quickly glances around, spotting Rotem's bright green stripes. "There it is. He's fuckin' gettin' it." The man and his friend start running towards Rotem.
Rotem barks and scampers off across the grass. He runs across quickly, leaving the men in the dust. He barks all the while. Now this is fun!
"Stop that damn dog!" shouts the man as he powers swiftly after the running cub. Yi meanwhile watches all this and curses in Cantonese to herself, berating herself in such poor judgement of letting the cub out this early. Her debate now, is whether letting the cub get what's coming to him or calling him back, and then giving him what's coming to him.
Rotem stops at the fence along the edge of the park, as he starts building up spit in his mouth, drooling massively now and growling as the men grow nearer. He blows out some air, helping to give the illussion of foaming at the mouth. He suspects they will be less eager to take on a possibly rabid dog.
The two men screech to a halt as Rotem turns, growling and slobbering appropriately for show. The man's friend backs up, placing a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Hey man, let's just go, it's a stupid frisbee and a stupid dog. We can get 'nother one..." The man, as brave as he is, isn't up to a mauling by mutt either, and snorts at the green-striped dog. "Jus' wait 'til the pound gets 'im. He ain't gonna go nowhere." The two guys turn around and walk away, with the man casting one menacing glance back at Rotem before the two head out of the park.
Rotem walks across the park and picks up a half of the frisbee, then returns towards Yi. He puts it down at her feet and sits. See, do good?
Yi slowly bends down, picking up the slobbered upon half-frisbee. Gazing at the plastic as doggie drool drips slowly off the end right onto Rotem's muzzle, she reaches back and chucks the frisbee away with all her might. It flies pretty far for a half a frisbee, landing neatly next to a trashcan alongside a bench. Then, she turns and starts walking. "Don't EVER do that again," she growls, not even bothering with the rope leash.
Rotem whines softly. What do? Though fool people, make proud. No make mad.
Rotem shifts his ears. Trick people, no need fight people. Better, no bite. No break litany.
A solitary figure in a long navy-blue coat walks a short distance away, the hood obscuring his features. He doesn't seem to be in any hurry to get anywhere.
Yi inhales sharply, rubbing the tips of her non-drool covered fingers on her forehead as she attempts to not whack the cub then and there. "NEVER cause trouble. ESPECIALLY when you have your stupid green stripes that label you like 'Go on, hit me! Green means go!'" She pauses as people nearby glance at her and her 'dog' and then walk past. Muttering curses in her own native language, she glances up at the sky as is very glad the moon isn't hers. In fact, she's pretty sure Elan must've read wrong when he was reading the almanac. This cub /has/ to be a new moon... Yi shakes her head and growls out some more Canto-curses before looking back towards the park grounds.
Rotem lowers his head, his tail falling down between his legs, his ears flattening down as he whines and whimpers in a high pitch.
Perrin changes course to intercept the Gnawer and her "dog", removing his hood. "Hey now... no abusing animals in this city, young lady... " He grins.
People are now just generally avoiding the area around a fuming teen girl and her strangely colored dog, keeping their distance as they pass by. Perrin's voice causes Yi to whip her head over and glare, "Mind your own bus..." but recognizing Perrin, she simply huffs. "Hi Perrin."
Perrin's smile widens. "Why Three-Blades... you look positively livid. Has this naughty creature been trying your patience?" He looks down. "Hello there, little guy."
Rotem barks at Perrin, although not very loudly, and moves forwards. I'm not little!
"Who him?" Yi motions with a tick of her head towards the lupus form cub beside her. "This, is Acts-Without-Thinking. Or... Just-Doesn't-Think. I don't know, he doesn't have a name really." She keeps her voice low, though dangerously low enough. "Maybe he should be 'Trouble'. That's all he is at the moment." She snorts, shooting a glare at a couple of overly curious teengirls who were trying to work up some bravery and ask Perrin his name.
Perrin glances over at the girls, flashing a brilliant smile in their direction before returning to regard Yi and the young cub.
Rotem lays down on the ground with a whimper. Trying his best to apologise. He whines again and closes his eyes. Tail flopped and still on the ground.
Yi's jaw clenches briefly before she half huffs half growls out the rest of her tension. "So," she says, eyeing the two girls as they giggle and whisper amongst themselves about Perrin, "What brings you to the park?" Yi purposely ignores the apologizing cub, letting him revel in his new set of earned cubnames.
Perrin smiles. "He will grow to be better, Yi. He has a wonderful teacher..."
Yi deflates a little, turning her eyes down to look at the cub. Still, she is solid in her annoyance, and his apologies aren't heeded yet. Perrin's statement gets a short snort. "Watch him for me a moment will you." She walks away to go retrieve the half of the torn frisbee she chucked away and places it in its proper disposal unit before heading back towards the mage and cub.
Rotem scampers up the moment Yi is out of view, and sniffs at Perrin, pressing his snout to Perrin's shoes and ankles. Sniffing incessently.
Chaser stalks into the park, a creak of leather and a rattle of metal defining her presence. Long strides take her toward Yi; a dark scowl clouds her features. "Yo," she says curtly. "Somethin' up?"
Perrin squats down and scritches the cub's neck. "Well he seems well behaved enough to me."
Rotem mewls happilly, licking at Perrin's hand playfully, tail wagging slightly.
Yi pauses as Chaser enters, not really swallowing her annoyed state or cowed by the dark look on the Get ragabash's features. "Just having a little trouble with... cubs." The last word comes out almost a growl, as she spots Perrin and Rotem playing it up.
Chaser frowns, and glances to the man and the mutt at his feet. She whistles, a peremptory summons meant for the dog. With a smooth grace she drops to a crouch.
Rotem turns, licking Perrin oncemore before bounding off towards Chaser and hopping onto her arms, licking her face. Tail wagging back and forth.
Perrin watches the cub rush off to the woman before turning back to Yi.
Yi upon seeing Rotem bound like his new cubname towards Chaser and hop up trying to lick her, she stares wide eyed before scooching away more towards Perrin. Better the cub than her, she thinks.
Chaser pushes the overenthusiastic mutt down with one hand. Her smile is taut, humorless, and she keeps the puppy occupied with absent ruffling of neck fur. "Be still," she growls. Then her eyes, narrowed, settle on Perrin. Something in her expression tightens. "WHo the hell are you, and what are you doin' in my park?"
Rotem mewls happilly, tail wagging as he enjoys the attention from Chasers scratching.
Perrin raises a brow. His eyes are utterly without challenge or aggression. "I was talking to Yi. I'm a friend of hers. I didn't intend to trepass on anyone's territory..."
Yi nods as the mage identifies himself, turning to Chaser and confirming. "He's a friend of Elan's and to the family." Her eyes watch the two girls who had previously been giggling quickly hustle off back towards the mall or some place. "He," she motions down towards Rotem, "is Rotem. Or now I'd like to call him Acts-Without-Thinking."
Chaser looks distinctly unimpressed, the slitted, hard eyes measuring the man and finding him somehow lacking. She returns her attention to Yi; her expression is tight. "Kin?" she asks pointedly.
Rotem tries to get Chaser's attention, barking softly. People yell at me, trick them, take their frisbee, Three-Blades mad.
Yi shakes her head, glancing to the mage. "No," she replies simply. She keeps the mage part a little more secret, not exactly sure how the Get would react. And Rotem gets another short grunt.
Chaser tightens her hand in the cub's ruff, ungently. Something tightens in her jaw, in response to Yi's answer. "I won't even fucking ask what, then." The subject of discussion doesn't get her attention. "Take *this*--" She gives the mutt a little shake. "Out of the public eye. Before Animal Control comes by and sticks him in a cage."
Perrin smiles to himself. "Rotem.." he repeats. "An interesting name..."
Rotem whimpers, eyes looking up to Chaser helplessly. Don't kill me! he remembers Yi's warning from before.
Perrin looks back to Yi and smiles. "It was good to see you again, Yi. I'll be in touch." He turns back to Chaser, lowering his eyes in respect. I will leave your park now. Please forgive my intrusion."
Chaser looks over at the man, hostility in her narrowed eyes. She says nothing--merely releases the cub and rises, fluidly, to watch the human go.
Yi nods to Chaser, her orders quite clearly taken. Turning to Perrin, she bows her head slightly. "Good to see you again too." As the mage departs, she turns back and looks down at Rotem, the hints of a relieved smirk crawling over her features.
Perrin says nothing, but turns and walks off as if there were no hostility anywhere in the world... and for him, there is none.
Rotem scampers back to Yi. Dont let her kill me. He lays down on his tail, ears completely flattened. Please.
Chaser snarls a wordless warning at the cub, and adds to it, "This isn't a fucking playground." She gives Yi the barest curt nod by way of dismissal. "See to it," she says tightly. Then she turns on one heel and stalks toward the waterfront.
Yi only nods as Chaser adds further comment and sighs softly as the Get tracks away. "Of course, Chaser-rhya," she says softly before looking down at a very cowed cub. "That, is Chaser-Never-Rests...-rhya. She is a new moon, like me. And, she is a Get of Fenris. In other words... well I don't have to tell you, Rotem. You know. Now let's get back to the church before someone really does come and take you to the pound."
Rotem whimpers, dragging his tail on the floor as he walks, head lowered almost to the ground, following Yi.
Yi sighs and gives the ahroun cub a small pat on the head as they exit the park, heading back to the church.

Rotem climbs down the stairs, whimpering and moving under the table. He curls up and lays down beneath it, head covered with one of his paws.
Yi uncurls the rope from her arm, taking the coils back in the room she found it in. Coming back out, she sees Rotem still having a little pity-party and shakes her head. "Well, you /did/ want to go out and meet others. You met Chaser-rhya." She says the last statement as if it were explanation enough.
Rotem shifts slowly to homid, going through the other forms, as he passes through crinos the table lifts up slightly. "What is rhya?"
"Rhya," Yi begins, turning politely away from the cub as he regains his pink fleshed form, "is a term of respect. It is old Garou language, used to address those higher rank than you. You, are a cub. I am a cliath, one rank higher. So, you call me Three-Blades-rhya, if you want to be formal." She pauses, listening if the cub is listening.
Rotem nods, thinking for a moment. "So I call my friend Banecruncher-rhya?"
Yi nods, motioning for Rotem to at least get dressed or something. "Banecruncher is also a cliath, so you can call him that. For those you wish to honor, who are equal rank, or you deem equal rank to you, you can add -yuf to the end of the their name. I could call Banecruncher, Banecruncher-yuf. But I don't, because it is kind of stuffy sounding. And, he's been in the sept longer than I have, so I treat him as higher rank." She doesn't mention that Banecruncher could kick her ass if he wanted to.
