Yi is up early, or at least early enough to catch breakfast at McDonald's. Opening up the door, the smell of sausage Mcmuffins and hash browns wafts into the farmhouse as she pokes her head through the door.
Alicia is sitting on the couch, almost as always. She may as well take residency up on it. She's drawing a picture in her sketch book, wetting her lips a bit. The picture is a beautiful scene of the forest she was just in, pin point detail expressing itself along the pages.
"Hey," Yi greets, clearing her throat softly afterwards. "Ate breakfast yet?" she asks, stepping just inside the door.
Alicia licks her lips a bit and smiles, nodding her head. "Yup, had some rabbit earlier."
Yi grins back, nodding slightly and moving in to sit down upon the floor cushions and eat. "Rabbit tastes good," she comments in between bites. "Has more bones than deer though..." she smiles around her Weaverfood.
Alicia nods her head and closes the sketch book, placing it to the side. "Got any hashbrowns in there?" She asks, wetting her lips. "I'd die for some actually."
"Mmhm," comes the newmoon's reply as she hands over the bag. Inside are two hashbrowns and another McMuffin. "Help yourself." A bite later, "How was it, living a wolf's life?"
Alicia reaches in for the hash and smiles. "It was so cool! We did a lot of hunting and scouting. I got to know the land really well from a wolf's point of view. Eating was the hard part though, I had to force myself to, but afterawhile, it wasn't so bad."
Yi nods slowly, chewing over that fact as well as her breakfast. "But Adam said you are not finished with your training?" she queries, curious and sniffing for information.
Alicia shrugs her shoulders a bit, swallowing a bite of hash. "I don't know. He didn't really say that, I guess he wants to figure out what I learned first, then touch up on the rest." Licking her lips, she plucks a napkin out of the bag.
Yi finishes up her breakfast sandwich and folds up the wrapper. "Sounds like a plan," she smiles. That smile quickly fades though, as another question comes up. One more serious and concerned. "What was Bernie so troubled over yesterday?" she asks softly.
"Oh.. Um... She's still a bit bummed about..stuff.." The Galliard bites her lip, not knowing what Yi knows of the newmoon's life. "Its..cub stuff.. I can't tell you." Her cheeks flush, letting her eyes lower to the ground.
Though her eyebrow arches a bit, Yi nods in respect to the cubs' territories. "Ok... but if she needs another ear or a body to punch, you tell her to ask me." Her hand reaches over into the bag and draws out the other hashbrown. Taking a bite, she simply savors the greasy breakfast from the fast food mecca. "I'd been thinking of also taking up the way of the wolf... Joesph Soulcatcher, elder of the Wendigo, suggested if I wanted to learn about the wild, that way would be best." She glances up at Alicia, as if seeking comment.
Alicia nods her head with a smile. "The wendigo would be good to learn from. I spoke to a Red Talon while I was out there also. But, I don't think he'd teach you." Finishing off the brown, she takes out the mcmuffin and unwraps it, inhaling the sausage and egg scent. "Its a great experience, but really hard you know...I had to put a lot of my self doubts away."
Yi nods a bit, glancing around the room as if to take in the weaver built surroundings. "It would take much of the time I should spend in the city. I was thinking of doing it soon, while the winter months are still here. But, there are cubs to teach, and... fishbait to take care of under the city." She almost growls the last part of her statement. "If not announced by another at the moot, I will be gathering up those willing to hunt down some sewer banes." She takes a bite out of her hashbrown as if taking a bite out of ... banes. (Wyrmcrime?)
Alicia nods her head slowly and takes a moment to think. "I need to learn how to fight soon. Or at least, get better at what I already do know." Rubbing her neck, her smile brightens. "But I can't wait for the moot. I get to attend and be with the others. I'm excited actually."
Yi grins and nods, also anticipating the coming gathering. "I remember the first time I attended a moot here." She shakes her head in sheer awe. "There are so many changers here, honestly. And of all tribes as well." She finishes up the hashbrown, wiping her lips with a napkin. "If there are that many of us here, I wonder how many are in the world."
Alicia shrugs her shoulders idly, wouldn't even knowing the answer to that. "Probably a billion?" She offers, a slight giggle crossing her face. "Makes ya wonder who's even normal these days eh?"
Yi chuckles at that notion, nodding. "One has to wonder... and that isn't including all the /other/ strange non-Garou."
Alicia grins a bit. "Yah, I heard there must be others out there too. Thats just so weird." Rubbing her neck, she takes a bite of the muffin, then swallows heavily.
Yi nods slowly. "There are others. I've only seen one, a rat who changed to a man." She pauses, chuckling softly. "Not a particularly good looking man, but he was decent enough to show me some things about the alleyways of Hong Kong." Her eyes turn wistfully to looking out the window. "And Grandmother told us all so much more, stories of shape changing dragons, foxes, even great cats." Her lips quirk in a soft smile.
Alicia blinks her eyes. "Ew! A were-rat! Thats gotta be so gross." Shuddering, she finishes off the muffin an shoves the wrapper back into the bag. "No offense to yer tribe or anything..but...eewww....."
Tom steps in from the porch, closing the front door behind him. Tom has arrived.
Tom knocks on the door.
Yi glances back at Alicia and laughs, giving the galliard cub a grin. "Yes, a were-rat. And no offense taken..." She glances at the door, blinking a moment before rising and opening the door a peek.
Alicia glances over idly to the door, calming down a bit, a silly smile crossing her face. She starts to picture things. Like.. Were Wolves chasing were cats... an they be chasing were rats.. an they'd chase..were'cheese?
Tom is there, alright. He's got his arm tucked in his jacket and grips the sleeve with the other. "Oh dear god, they -chewed my arm off while waiting-," he cries out, keeping the snicker out of his voice. He'd actually make a good actor.
Yi looks quite startled, and opens the door a bit hurriedly. Then she glances down at the kin's arm. No blood? "Haha, funny," she says deadpan, then gives Tom a smile and motions the man inside.
Alicia blinks at the voice and glances up quickly, not able to get a good look from her spot. "Huh!? What?!" She's up to her feet in a flash, then peers over at Tom, huffing. "Man, your a bitch."
Tom snickers a bit as he walks through the door, slipping his arm back through his sleeve. "What, you were worried?" He grins brightly, head tilting ever so slightly.
Long distance to the room: Yi thanks Alicia for her now mental images of wolf chase cat chase rat chase cheese.
Yi closes the door after Tom enters, and goes back to her spot near the floor cushion as she slips the McMuffin wrapper into the bag. Moving to the kitchen, she goes to deposit the trash in its proper receptacle.
Alicia smirks and pushes Tom back slightly with her hands, clearing her throat. "Yes, I was worried, good lord, I had no clue you developed a sense of humor during my leave of abscence."
Tom pffs softly, "I'm hurt. No humor you say?" He rubs his shoulder a bit, "And to think I regrew my arm for you. That just stings."
"So it is true that kin can become Garou too?" Yi jokes softly as she re-enters from the kitchen. "I have to admit your mood is quite a bit lighter than when I first met you," she smiles at the kin while lowering gracefully down to her cushion.
"Hey, let me help rip it off then, so I can't feel guilty." Alicia smiles, sliding her arms around his waist, burying her face into the kin's chest. Taking a deep breath of his scent, she sighs contently.
Tom makes a face, "Ow, see that would hurt. All bloody and gross." He tilts his head and shrugs, "Maybe I'm just in a good mood." He rubs the back of his head a moment then says, "Well, whatever, I guess. So, what've I missed?"
Alicia draws her fingers up along his chest as she tips her head back, peering into his eyes. "Me?" Batting her own dark pools, she smiles, drawn to his beautiful features as always. "Not much.. Yi and Bernie found my brother, he works at Mc Donald's. Other then that..nothing I guess."
Yi glances at Alicia and Tom, smiling at the couple and nodding. "Benedict works there as the staff manager," she chirps out.
Tom tilts his head. "You gotta brother?" he asks, curiously. "Ah, well that's new. I guess I'll have to meet him sometime or something." He shrugs slightly, then says, "That it, huh? Sounds like there's not a lot going on in this place, then, mm?"
Alicia shrugs her shoulders a bit, smiling. "I was hanging out in the woods for the past few weeks, I wouldn't know. I know there is a moot coming up, and I get to attend." Her eyes shine over brightly. Leaning up, she kisses his lips softly.
Yi rises to her feet in a smooth motion, giving the two some more room. "I'll be going," she says to the couple. "Have a cub to smack some lessons into again," grins the newmoon, though there is a hint of 'oh-Gaia' to it.
Tom tilts his head. "Urh, cub? Smack?" He then shrugs and looks to Alicia. Predictably, he says, "Moot? Um, what's a moot?"
Alicia smiles up to Tom and stares into his eyes. "The Moot is the gathering of all the Garou of the Sept, they trade stories and business. Talk about upcoming events. Its like a huge party. We talk to the spirits and all that good stuff. Its so much fun." Waving to Yi, she smiles.
"And we plan a Revel, usually the next night," Yi adds as she opens the door. "Have some fun cleaning up fishbait," she grins a bit wolfishly. "Take care you two." With that, she slips out of the farmhouse.
