Rotem lays against the back wall, leaning against it, slightly slumped over, in glabro form. A half empty bottle of coke lays beside him.
Yi takes a moment to examine the basement doorway, hand reaching up to her neck with its scratches briefly. Her eyes turn downwards towards the basement, searching out the cub.
Owen peeks in from above, looking for someone in particular but not seeing them. Deciding to himself outloud that he'll leave a note that he was here, he's about to turn back when Yi catches his eye. "Whoa. Someone _is_ here."
Yi turns at Owen's voice, brow furrowing. "Need something?" She asks in a gruff tone, enhanced by a previous night's torn up throat.
Rotem stirs slightly, he glances at Yi, wondering who she is talking to. He looks rather hopefull, maybe it is Nevada.
Owen turns a serious eye to Yi, a little bit of breeding showing through in his stance. "Yeah. For no one to cop an attitude tonight." He lets a pause go by. "And I was looking for Kaz."
Yi lets one brow arch slightly. "Kaz isn't hear right now, though if you have a message I'll deliver it," the newmoon replies, politely enough.
Rotem is unable to place the voice, it isn't Nev, that is for sure. He sighs and lays back down with a huff.
Owen grumbles for a moment. "Just wondering if she put that knife to use." He looks over at a sound, spotting Rotem. "Speaking of using knives..."
Yi glances back down, towards Rotem. "Oh, she used her own knives," Yi responds, turning and clomping down the stairs in overly large Skechers. Her eyes examine Rotem in the dimly lit basement.
Rotem lifts a hand to wave slightly towards Yi. He glances at Owen and prepares to ask who he is, as the subject is revealed he sighs, rather sadly. He doesn't know who he is, but Rotem knows he can't walk, so that's enough to shut him up.
Owen just shakes his head from where he stands by the door. "Such a waste."
Yi looks the cub over once more, then simply asks, "Learned your lesson well, I hope." This of course, is directed towards Rotem slumping against the floor. Her eyes keep flickering between cub and Owen.
Rotem nods softly. Groaning out a few words as he does so, "I'm sorry, Yi-Rhya." He sighs and looks down towards the ground. He continues, voice raspy, "My fault."
Owen grunts, then makes his way down the stairs as well. "Well, that's about the only thing you've gotten right so far, you little shit-hole."
"You're sorry," Yi repeats. Her gaze narrows. "You're sorry, but do you know what for? You've told Nevada you were sorry. You've told me you were sorry plenty of times. Are you /really/?"
Rotem sighs. "I'm sorry for disrespecting you." He lays back down on the ground, still tired from the fight.
Owen peers over at the cub. "How about answering the question."
Rotem looks to Owen, not understanding what he means, or who he is. He groans out, mumbling, although not stuttering, ~My name is Rotem. Greenstreak, to Gaia's Chosen. Warrior moon, cub of the Bone Gnawers.~
Yi paces a bit, back and forth in front of the cub. "You disrespected me... you've done far more than that. You broke the Veil, changing right in the church doorway, but that's forgivable. You presented yourself as a mad dog frothing at the mouth at two humans in Harbor Park. You nearly got yourself killed on a full moon by frenzying on Nevada, and ended up getting your guts ripped out. You challenged my rank above you, /even/ when you clearly stated during our lesson that day, the first rule you stated of the Litany was Submit to Those Higher in Station. And after that, you nearly got yourself, and a cliath..namely /me/... killed. You sorry?" Her gaze snaps back. "Well at least /something/ was learned from that first lesson.
Rotem descides against asking what was wrong with challenging her during peacetime, and simply lays there silently. He at least got the introduction right. His eyes remain on Yi, laying still.
Owen just stands there for now, jaw set firm. Rotem isn't worth the time for an introduction, at least not now.
Yi crosses her arms over her chest. "And now that you've had your throat torn out, and been hamstrung, are you sorry about your actions?" The voice is harsh, dominating.
Rotem nods softly, although not lifting his head. "Yes Rhya."
"So, repeat to me, what you are sorry for," Yi commands, again resuming her pacing in front of the submissive cub.
Rotem groans out slowly, still hurting when he talks. "Breaking the Veil, scareing the humans, and hurting everyone. And especially for n-not being obediant when y-you just tried to help me."
Owen can't help but show signs of disgust at the cub as he groans and moans.
Yi stops her pacing in front of the cub, and gazes over his form with a calculating gaze. "So. Now you know. When you can move again, I will have you clean up the basement, fix the wall there, fix the church doors, and clean up the church in general. Understood?"
Rotem nods softly. Looking up to Yi, "I know where to get the supplies, if You'll let m-me out of the church, then." He motions to the wall and mumbles, to himself, a list of various supplies. He didn't grow up with a contractor and not learn /anything/.
Owen sighs, kinda disappointed by this whole scene. "Well, let Kaz know I'm looking for her." He then turns and heads back up the way he came, still without giving his introduction.
Yi grunts as a reply. "Supplies will be here. You will do this with supervision of an elder. You are not allowed outside this church and its vicinity without an elder. And, you are not allowed near the farmhouse area until Elan tells Adam himself that you are well behaved enough to be allowed there." Her nod to Owen is brief.
Owen vanishes up the stairwell to the sanctuary. Owen has left.
Rotem nods softly to Yi. "Look up my dad. He h-has the supplies, free.
Rotem adds, as an afterthought, "J-just don't tell him where I am."
Yi handwaves that. "Unless your father is kinfolk, I don't think so."
Rotem shrugs, not knowing. He lays back down on the ground, sighing.
Yi shakes her head at the cub. "And for Gaia's sake take your punishment seriously. As a fullmoon. Laying around and sighing is about as warrior-like as a bloody daisy-picking pansy."
Rotem growls at this, keeping his head lowered lest she sees the fire in his eyes now. "I can't f-freaking walk, and my throat hurts when I t-talk. What do you /want/ me to do?"
Yi shrugs. "My throat hurts too, but that doesn't stop me. Do situps. Do handstands and walk like that. Just don't lay around and whine all night." Turning, she shakes her head again, and climbs up the basement stairs, leaving the cub alone to his thoughts.
