Forgotten Church(#1801RAJLM)
The old church is dark, dimly lit by outside light coming in through scum-encrusted windows during the day, and tomblike during the night. There is a coatroom in the back of the nave, with separate doors leading off to mens' and womens' restrooms, and two staircases, one going up to the balcony and bell-tower, and the other leading down to the basement. The double doors leading out to the street are at the back of the coatroom.
The hard wooden pews in the sanctuary are, for the most part, still intact. There are even Bibles and hymnals left in the shelves along the back of each row, although many of them look rather chewed on. The altar on a dais at the front of the church is empty, and the lectern that once stood next to it has been knocked over. Rotting red cloth hangs at the very front of the church; there might once have been a design on it, but it has long since faded or been eaten away.

Street Basement

Yi opens up the church doors, still checking with a scrutinizing eye to the job done but being satisfied that it's not going to fall apart anytime soon. She eyes then gaze about the church to scan the pews.

Rotem emerges from downstairs, the door to the basement closing behind him. He stops for a moment as he notices Yi.

Yi offers the cub a curt nod, moving down the center aisle to slide into one of the middle pews. "Yo," she offers, low, quiet, and perhaps even a little pensive.

Rotem moves towards her, to sit in the pew across the isle. "Good evening Yi-Rhya."

Yi glances over just barely as Rotem uses the respectful suffix on the end of her name. That's something. "Evening, Rotem," she greets back, leaning her head against the back of the pew to gaze up towards the rafters.

Sitting quietly in middle of one of the middle pews, Yi gazes pensively towards the rafters while offering just a little bit of conversation to Rotem in the pew across the center aisle from her.

Rotem glances up for a moment towards the rafters, then back to Yi. "Is everything ok? If you're tired you c-can grab some shuteye d-downstairs."

"Things are fine," Yi replies calmly, not exactly tired but not quite the bright raggie that people normally know. "I'm not tired. Just doing some thinking," she answers the cub.

Kaz pushes in the doors, a somewhat large bag in her hands, and pauses to let her eyes adjust to the lighting. "Yo?"

Rotem nods softly, leaning back in the seat before turning to look at Kaz. "Good evening Kaz." He nods his head softly towards her. "What's in the bag?"

Yi turns her head at the sound, seeing the galliard and offering a quiet wave. "Yo, Kaz," she greets softly before also glancing down at the bag.

Kaz rummages in it, and tosses the cub a Snickers bar. "Junk food," she explains. "Want some, Yi?" She, in contrast to the Ragabash, seems fairly chipper.

Rotem snatches the Snickers bar out of the air, smilling. "Thanks Kaz!" A reprive from beef jerky, a godsend. He unwraps half the bar and takes a bite. "When you're n-not going anywhere for a while," He motions to the church door, "Grab a Snickers."

Yi sits up a bit more, getting another look at the ordinary paper bag before deciding well, she hasn't eaten much all day. "Sure," she answers, tilting her head a bit curiously at Rotem before wondering what Kaz is going to chuck at her head.

Kaz tosses things gently. She doesn't chuck. But Yi just gets given the whole bag, as Kaz wanders over to her, and then flops onto the pew behind her. "So what's goin' on?"

Kaz pages: It's actually got bread, cheese, a tomato, /and/ a lot of random chocolate.

Yi withdraws a Twix, opening up the wrapper and gasp, actually offering one of the sticks to the galliard as opposed to the commercials. "Not much," the newmoon answers, "but I have the feeling somethings will be happening soon." Her fingers break off a piece of the chocolatey caramel-cookies and she sinks back into the pew, setting down the bag beside her. "Been thinking, what to do about the pack totem."

Rotem perks up, "The Spirit totem." He mumbles, smilling. Remembering the lessons.

Kaz levers herself up from her flop to take one, nodding thanks. "What about it?" she asks. "Thought you guys were goin' f'some kinda Honor thing, ain't you?" She quirks a small grin at Rotem. "Yayuss."

"Mmph," Yi mumbles around a bite of chocolate and caramely goodness, swallowing before answering. "We're seeking either Salmon or Unicorn... or even the horned one's black counterpart." She blinks a couple of times more, the pensive furrow of her brow evident as the mere mention of the names elicit thoughts within. "Soulcatcher-rhya has ties with Salmon as does Sepdet, and Sepdet has ties to Unicorn. The island was supposed to be a large Children of Gaia area of sorts, from what Sepdet told me." Her glance goes to the galliard. "What troubles me, is the offering."

Kaz tilts her head slightly. "Offerin'?"

Rotem listens closely, arching an eyebrow. "Whoa, there a-are unicorns too? Cool. Where?"

Yi nods a bit. "Asking the spirit to be our pack totem, doing something to gain their favor," she replies before breaking off another bit of chocolate. Her eyes glance to Rotem. "In the Umbra, I'm assuming. Don't see many horned horse-deer running around on St. Claire streets."

Rotem shakes his head. "I didn't see many nine foot t-tall yetti's untill this month."

"Yeah, Unicorn an' Uktena -- the flyin' snake thing -- those're two Totems that don't got analogues in this world. 'Least, not anymore." Kaz shrugs. "So. Once we drag y'Umbral, y'might be able to see one. But they're kinda shy."

Rotem nods. "Wha's the black unicorn?" He asks, his voice not all that quiet.

Kaz tilts her head at Yi.

"A fiercer counterpart of the white one," Yi answers with a little hesitation, not exactly sure about it herself. "I guess he is the fighter for the right, protector," she explains to Kaz with still a hint of doubt in her own words. "I'm not very sure," the newmoon admits, breaking a third piece of the candy in her hand. "Salmon is a seeker of wisdom, as well as a healer." The chocolate goes in her mouth and she's quiet for a minute.

Rotem chuckles and shakes his head. "And I thought he was an Entree." He then stops for a moment, looking to Kaz. "What's the umbral?"

Kaz says, "Huh. Well. That'd fit what y'all're goin' for, that Black guy." To Rotem, she explains, "They're gonna be a healin' pack, but they're also gonna whup ass on what needs it." At his question, she blinks. "We ain't told you about it?" Rotem shakes his head from side to side. "No."

Yi gives Rotem a shortly furrowed brow, not really sure if he was referring to the Black Unicorn or the fish. She also glances to Kaz, also seeming surprised. "Thought you'd explained it once..."

"Well then!" Kaz is off the pew and starting to pace, energetically. "See, there's a spirit world and a non-spirit world. We're in th' non-spirit world. The Umbra, it's the place of spirits, where us Garou really belong." She shrugs at Yi. "Mebbe didn't use th' word, who knows. Anyways, so we can't visit it at this moon, it's dark out there now."

Rotem arches his eyebrow. "Dark? So? I'll bring a flashlight."

Kaz shakes her head. "Can't bring stuff from this side over to that side, 'less it's Dedicated. An', well, it's /real/ fuckin' dark. Plus which, th' Wyrm's around a lot, this kinda moon, an' -- well, it's my job t'be there, now, but I ain't gonna take no cub. Not yet."

Rotem nods and sighs. "Ok. How do you get there?" He tilts his head up towards Kaz.

Rina steps through the old double doors, closing them behind her. Rina has arrived.

"Well. It's sort of hard to explain unless you're doin' it, but -- basically, stare into a flat, reflective surface. Mirror, water, whatever. An', well, reach /through/ it." Kaz sounds a little embarrassed, but adds, "It don't have to make sense, it's magic."

"Imagine yourself in a different world," Yi offers, "Like Alice and the Looking Glass."

Rina slips in quietly, the new doors relatively silent compared to the old ones, or the plastic. She stays close to them, scanning the group of Garou as she leans on the edge of a pew, way in the back where the shadows are thick. When her gaze falls on Rotem she looks, uncomfortably, elsewhere.

Rotem shrugs. "I'll have to try that when I'm alone and bored sometime." He turns his gaze to look at Rina when she enters, the doors are quiet but it is cold outside, the draft calling his attention. He rises when he notes who it is. He walks over towards Rina. "Good afternoon." He extends his right hand out towards her.

Rina almost steps back from that extended hand, eyeing him guardedly. "Okay, clearly either you got sense beaten int'you, or the pod people have landed and taken over your body." She holds out a hand of her own, doubtfully. "Or you got one a those buzzers. Hi."

Yi also gazes towards the sudden draft, spying Rina and offering a curt nod to the kin. "Evening," she greets, a little more accurate than Rotem time-wise. "And there's no cubs allowed flipside without an elder."

Kaz adds, "Because you'll get /smoked/," and gives Rina a brief, though certainly warm, grin.

Rotem shakes her hand softly. "The former." He nods his head softly. "I'm sorry about last time." He shakes his head. "I thought you were going to hurt Nevada." A soft sigh escapes his lips.

Rina purses her lips, studying the kid's face. After a moment she nods, curtly. "Apology accepted. Nev and I got an understanding, these days." She glances past the Gnawer, to Kaz. "Everything aright?"

Kaz shrugs, looking from Rotem to Rina. "Workin' better than it has been lately. You doin' ok?"

Yi tenses a little at mention of Nevada, the galliard having been gone for a little while now and only a select few knowing where he went, and even then it's vague. She lets the kin and Kaz chat a little as she finishes her Twix.

Rotem takes a step back and moves to the pews again, motioning for Rina to follow. "Come, take a load off."

Kaz asks this last question with a little sharper concern than might usually be expected, of the Kin.

Rina shakes her head minutely, turning her face away. "Nah. You guys seen Owen? Big Get, shaved head dude?"

Kaz nods slowly and moves a little closer to the Kin. "Not," she says, slowly, "Lately. Not since he tried to eat Baney for breakfast. Why, what's up? Want I should tell him you're lookin' for him?"

"No, not in a few days lately," Yi reports quietly, quirking her head slightly as if to inquire why.

Rina shakes her head quickly. "No. Don' worry about it." She looks up to meet Kaz's eyes, then, her expression dark. "Everything been quiet down here?"

Yi perks as if a momentary thought hit her. She glances to Kaz. "Owen was looking for you too, couple days ago when Rotem was still in the basement."

Kaz shrugs. "Quiet enough on /our/ end, yeah... I mean," she adds, Rina's evident predicament suddenly forgotten, "Other'n me challengin'."

Yi was looking in Rina's general direction but does a double take at Kaz in mention of challenge. An eyebrow rises curiously.

Rina flashes a bruised smile to Kaz. "Yeah?"

Rotem looks to Kaz. "Been meaning to ask about that..."

Kaz's grin is practically sunny. "I've challenged Elan's ass, yeah." There's a short pause. "Well, and the rest of him, too." Rotem's pseudo question drags her attention to him, and she raises an eyebrow.

Rina laughs a little--and then ducks her head to hide the wince.

Yi's look of incredulity flits on by quickly, replaced by a short smile. "From what I've heard, you have been around long enough to earn it, Kaz," she comments with a sideways glance towards Rina.

Rotem repeats the Litany to start with. "The Leader can be challenged in peacetime, Right?" He pauses, as if considering his words. "I'm not saying what I d-did was ok, just... " He pauses again, gathering his thoughts. "I know it was wrong. But from the legal standpoint, Why was challenging Yi not allowed?"

Perrin has arrived.

Kaz glances at Yi, just briefly. "Can I take this?"

Yi's glance from Rina rivets towards Rotem, then to Kaz. Her head dips to the galliard, as the newmoon probably doesn't think her mind would be...all there... on the new moon.

Rina snorts, and glances to Kaz sidelong. She goes back to leaning on the back of a back-row pew.

A knock sounds on the door, light and precise.

Rina stands near the back of the church, her back turned to the door; she glances over her shoulder, and then looks at Yi. "Who /knocks/?"

Rotem pipes up, "Jehovah's witnesses." He grins.

Kaz ignores the knock. "Kid. You're all keen and shit, but you have to understand. You're a cub. You don't /get/ to challenge people. That's just the way it is. It don't matter how much peacetime it is, you just /don't/. That's all. I appreciate the thought that you have guts and shit, but it just doesn't /work/ like that."

Yi stands, ruling out the possibility of Garou. "Whoever it is.." The newmoon goes to answer the door, opening it with a nearsilent click of the latch and peeking through the crack.

Rotem nods to Kaz. "Ok."

Perrin smiles back at Yi. "No, I'm not a Jehovah's Witness."

Kaz regards Rotem evenly. "You better accept it, that's f'sure."

Yi opens up the door some more, to get a better look at the mage in the dim lighting before recognizing him. "Evening," she greets quietly, moving aside to let the mage in.

Rotem nods softly to Kaz. "I do. I know it was wrong. I was j-just asking from a legal standpoint. I l-learned my lesson." He motions to his legs with this.

Perrin enters, looking around the Santuary for familiar faces. "Been a while since i've been here. How have you been, Yi?"

Rina glances over to Rotem, her eyes narrowing. Then she glances over her shoulder to the new arrival, studying him doubtfully.

Kaz just nods, silently. Giving both Rina and Perrin a look, she mutters, "I gotta patrol. See you folks around," and heads out the door.

"Been cut up, throated, healed, cut up again, half-digested, and healed again since I last saw you, but judging now, I think I'm ok," smirks Yi as she shuts the door again. Turning to Rotem, she adds to Kaz's explanation. "Your challenge isn't with me. It's like... a child challenging his parents, his caretakers."

Kaz opens one of the double doors at the back of the church, leaving for the streets. Kaz has left.

Elan walks in off the streets, missing his packmate by minutes.

Rina frowns slightly, watching Kaz leave.

Perrin turns to watch Elan enter, eyes widening just a bit before he turns back to Yi.

The Glasswalker kin's dark expression is transformed, when Elan comes in. "Heya, choirboy," she offers, giving him a bruised half-smile. "W'sup?"

Perrin pages to the room: Screams with joy. "Ghosts! Ghosts!"

Rotem glances over towards Elan, then looks to Yi. "Who is he?" motioning to Perrin.

Yi dips her head at Elan. "Evening, Elan-rhya," she greets quietly before moving back to her spot next to the back pews. "This is Perrin. He can kill you with a word if he feels like it," she says, her expression completely serious for a minute or so.

Rina gives Yi a quick, guarded look. "Um. Do what, china girl?"

Rotem handwaves this, "Just like everyone else." He rises and extends his hand to Perrin, "Nice to meet you."

Perrin takes hit without hesitation. "Very nice to meet you. You're... a cub, yes?"

Elan walks down amongst everyone, nodding around since he knows everyone here. "What's up, guys?"

Rotem nods softly. "Aye. The most well behaved one you'll ever meet. Don't let them fool ya." He turns to Elan. "Good evening Bee Dee, Rhya."

Rina's jaw tightens, and she glances to Yi. "So... he's who?"

Yi then smirks, and lets go a low chuckle. "Kidding," she adds towards the kin. "He's Perrin. Or rather, I should probably let him introduce himself?" Her eyes blink at bit at Perrin, then to Elan, and back.

Rina crosses her arms, lifting a rather well-purpled chin to study him.

Perrin turns to Rina, wincing slightly at her obvious pain as if he could feel it himself. "I'm the mage who healed Jay, a couple of weeks before his death. Michael Andrew Perrin. Friend of the Bone Gnawers."

Rotem points to Perrin, "Mage?"

Ah, Perrin has such a way with his charming words... Yi's short smile shortens a bit more as she moves away from the group to take the bag of groceries Kaz brought down to the basement. And hide the tense knot around her throat as Perrin mentions Jay.

Rina's expression darkens. "A mage." She glances to Yi, scowling. "You let a fuckin' /warlock/ hang with you?"

"Far from anything of war, I hope," Yi replies to the kin before hoisting up the bag and heading downstairs briefly.

Perrin studies Rina for a moment. He doesn't seem offended in the least, nor particularly intimidated. "You've met others of my kind, I'm guessing? And Yi is correct. I'm hardly a warlock."

Rotem drops down into a seat. "Mages, Unicorns. It never ends."

Rina purses her lips, and tips her head slightly to one side, studying the tall blonde. "What are you, then?

Elan folds his arms as he listens, then turns to Perrin. "You really have no concept of keeping a secret of what you are, do you?"

Perrin turns to Elan. "I wasn't the one who decided to let the cub know what I was, or Rina for that matter." He turns back to Rina. "I *am* a mage, but I don't traffic in evil spirits, or corruption. In fact, I fight those very things, as do you all, each in their own way."

Rotem sighs. "Mage. Geeze. Do you do potions and shit like t-that? I want a love potion!" He grins wickedly.

Yi comes back up from the basement with a discreet clumping up the stairs. She moves towards one of the back quarter pews, sliding in and turning to sit sideways and listen to the conversation. Her eyes glance briefly at Rotem, eyebrow arching. One'd think after seeing people turn into furry slice-n-dice machines, mages wouldn't be such a big deal.

Elan frowns a bit. "Then who did?"

Rina's eyes narrow as she watches Perrin's face.

Perrin's eyes fall a bit, and he turns to walk to Elan, slowly. "Is it your wish that I not come to this place again, Elan? I'll abide by your decision." His look is piercing.

Elan shakes his head. "Just be fucking careful who you talk to. We get all kinds a visitors here, including people without a clue that there are any such things besudes Garou, not to mention wizards, vampires, unicorns, and shit like that."

Perrin says "I have nothing to hide."

Rina nods minutely. "Ya. I could be a civilian f'rall you know."

Rotem shakes his head, looking ot Elan. "I'm just curious, with so many of these... things... are there any plain old normal people?"

Perrin pages to the room: Whoops... sorry. Didn't mean to pose that early.

Yi lets her eyes fall down towards the wooden pew, before glancing up again. "You might not, Perrin, but we do. You probably have powers beyond my understanding by far, but I do understand that I don't want any unnecessary bad things coming out in the night to stalk down our kind, or you." She lifts her chin. "You're a friend, Perrin, and the last thing I want is something coming out to get you because of it."

Elan shakes his head to Perrin. 'You have a fucking lot to hide. You people are supposed to be even more quiet than we are. Lest that's what I've been told." He looks to Rotem. "All the supernaturals hide from humans; they have to. They are too numerous and would be able to get us all. Even the K-vampires."

Rina purses her lips and nods curtly. She gives Elan a sidelong glance at his slip, and her expression shifts, suddenly thoughtful.

Perrin sighs. "You don't seem to understand, however, that I can tell when I'm dealing with a regular human being and when I'm not. It's as transparent air to me. You'll have to trust that. I won't reveal myself to a mortal, unless they are related to you by blood, which she... " He nods to Rina "...is. Still. I'll remain silent if it makes you feel more comfortable, Yi."

Rina lifts her shoulder. "Whatev. You screw up and get burned at the stake, it's no skin off my ass."

Elan rolls his shoulders. "Let's go on to something else. What's up, Rina? Need anything, or just in for a visit?"

"That's an advantage and disadvantage, Perrin," Yi replies softly. "You can tell what you're working with, but not how much they know about it themselves. We're all just trying to make it in the world, you know? Not trying to bring a mob on our heads." She glances over to Elan, and lets her statements fall like dust off the rafters. Now she takes a little more time in examining Rina, and what looks like a very bruised chin.

Rina shakes her head in a no, and ducks it, running one hand through her hair, hiding some of the bruises with the angle of her face, and the gesture. "Somethin' I oughta let you know, choirboy," she says quietly.

Rotem listens in on the conversation, then lifts his head to look at Elan. "Umm, a-about my job?" He inquires.

Owen makes his way in through the recently repaired door, this time with a dufflebag hanging from his wide shoulder. He says nothing, taking a moment to get used to the light in here.

Banecruncher raises his head and watches all those assembled.

Rina leans against the back row pew with both hands, gripping the edge, her head bowed to hide her bruised face.

Elan looks over to Rina. "Are you hurt? Do you need healing?"

Yi continues examining Rina, though Owen's entrance earns him a curt nod, and softspoken, "Evening."

Rina shakes her head minutely. "Just bruises," she says quietly. "Nothin' broken." She takes a careful breath, and straightens, wincing slightly. The dark eyes glance to Elan.

Elan moves over to Rina. "Let me help?"

Rotem rises looking to Yi. "I'm heading to bed, If anyone needs me I'll be in the basement." With this he steps away, dissapearing down the steps.

Rina shakes her head minutely. "It's fine. Don't waste the energy. You might need it later." She rubs at the back of her neck, and ducks her head again, eyes lowered.

Owen shrugs the dufflebag off his shoulder and tosses it onto a nearby pew, the sound of metal and wood banging heavily against each other echoes. Rina gets a very short look, but most of the rest get a short nod. At least those he recognizes get one.

Yi nods to Rotem, giving the cub a slight wave of her hand before turning her attentions towards the main group. "You don't have to wear your bruises like battlescars," she comments to the kin. Her notice of Owen's very brief glance to Rina goes unmentioned.

Elan smiles a bit and shakes his head. "It'll be fine."

Perrin watches intently, having never seen this particular facet of Elan's powers.

Rina jerks back from the hand, taking a swift step away to avoid the man's touch. "I said don't bother, and I meant it," she says quickly. "People would notice."

Elan closes his hand, the glare of light fading back into his own flesh. "You could say you used makeup. What people would notice? Anyone we should pay a visit on?"

Perrin mutters to Yi.

Perrin pages: And *I'm* supposed to maintain a low profile?

Yi shakes her head a little, perhaps not quite taking in why the kin would reject being healed. At Perrin's short whisper she glances up at him and replies back softly.

You paged Perrin with 'Well... there's exceptions to every rule right?'.

Perrin smiles to Yi. "I suppose so..." he whispers.

Rina lets out a breath, glancing down, one hand rubbing at the back of her neck. "Makeup doesn't cover shit this dark, and most of my friends know that. Not t'mention that I do /not/ need the guys who did this to notice /anything/ unusual about me."

Elan affects a casual stance. "So, who was it?"

Rina pages to the room: If someone has a job in the real world, and shows up one day beat to shit, and the next day is seen with no bruises, that is /noticed/. Commented upon. Draws attention as abnormal.

Owen unzips his dufflebag and pulls out a sledgehammer, inspecting the wooden handle for sturdiness. "We want names, Rina," is all he says to this matter.

Yi looks a little surprised, as Owen pulls out the sledgehammer. Her instinct of course, is to back away from said range of weapon, and she does so.

Rina takes a careful breath, and releases it slowly, glancing to Elan. "I think we got some Russian mafia movin' in on us," she says quietly.

Elan snorts. "I see. OK, then..." He glances to the floor, then back to Rina. "What's their bag? Drugs? Weapons? Nuclear secrets?"

Rina shakes her head minutely, leaning on the church pew again. "Flesh, definitely. And probably drugs. Ran into them at the Temple, anyway, and there's plenty of market there f'blow, heroin, X, whatev.

Yi narrows her eyes testingly, eyeing the end of the sledgehammer in periodic glances while watching Elan and Rina, and the occassional gaze towards the mage.

Owen takes the hammer in one hand halfway up the shaft and starts to repeatedly clap the metal head into his free hand's palm, testing the thing's weight. The look on his face may give away that he wished it was heavier. "Can you point anyone out, Rina?" he asks without looking towards her.

Elan looks to the assembled. "I need to go on patrol," he says, and heads for the door.

Yi nods to her tribe elder, waving a good bye to him but not without a sort of waning look of asking him to stay a little longer. Her eyes shift towards Owen and Rina, ever-watchful.

Banecruncher rumbles quietly.

Elan opens one of the double doors at the back of the church, leaving for the streets. Elan has left.

Rina glances over her shoulder to Elan, as he leaves. "It's nothin' against you, babe," she says quietly.

Rina lets out a breath, and ducks her head again. "That's why I been keepin' an eye out," she says. "Haven't seen 'em again, though. Probably layin' low."

Owen stops patting the hammer into his palm. "That ain't the answer I'm looking for." He puts the tool back into the bag, only to withdraw a fireman's axe.

Rina glances to Owen, her eyes narrowing slightly. "What d'you want, then? I don't /have/ names. They didn't /give/ me names, they /gave/ me fuckin' /contusions/."

Yi gives Owen's bag a very wary look as the axe comes out. Her eyes darken in their gaze as she stands slowly, not to draw attentions of the Get and the kin. "She did mention the Temple," she notes from her out-of-axe-range position. "Think that should be enough, don't you think?" she watches Owen and his very menacing hatchet.

Perrin remains quiet, observing only.

Owen glares hard at Rina. "No lip," is all he says. A moment later he looks to Yi. "I ain't about to get all stabby in a public place like that, cutting down everything in my path because I ain't got any targets, Yi. I ain't some fool lupe." Clearly he's indicating Banecruncher here. Idly, he spins the axe in his hand.

Rina looks away from Owen, and lets out a breath. "Look. That's all I know. I'm tryin' to find out what I can, but when I've seen two faces it's pretty slow goin'. Just keep your eyes open."

"Well, perhaps Rina'd appreciate if you don't press her too much in the condition she's in now," Yi replies softly, not challenging but firm still. "All it takes is some observation of the people that hang around the area, and note the times they're there, what they do." Coming from a scout's point of view, that's the best she offers to the Get.

Rina nods. "Someone could try to make a buy," she says. "Run around and listen for accents." A hand runs back through her hair, mussing it. "Anyway. Delivered the news unto the Gnawers. Gotta jet."

Yi nods to Rina, giving the kin a quick dip of her head and wave in a departing note. "Thanks for the news, Rina," she also adds before the kin slips out.

Owen snorts. "Gnawers. Myself. We'll be right out there tossing money around." A short sigh. "Do the good work."

Rina glancs to Owen, her expression unreadable, the dark eyes veiled. "You too. Be careful." She looks over to Yi, offering a nod and a faint half-smile. "You too, china girl."

Perrin leans over to Yi and whispers.

Perrin pages: Well, I'm heading back home for some sleep. It's getting a little weird here, even for a mage...

Yi smiles a bit, and nods towards Perrin. "Take care," she says on a departing note to the mage too. With a nimble hop over the pew, she makes her way towards the door to open it for all those heading out.

Rina opens one of the double doors at the back of the church, leaving for the streets. Rina has left.

Perrin turns and walks out into the night quietly.

Perrin has left.

Yi glances at Owen and his axe, brow lifting slightly to inquire silently if he is heading out too. She can't help but look at the duffel bag, and wonder just what other things he keeps in there.

Owen tests the edge of the axe blade with his thumb, frowning as it seems a bit dull. He looks over at Yi and her skeptical look, causing him to smirk. "It ain't for you," is all he says before he puts the axe away and zips the bag back up, keeping whatever else may be in there a secret.

Yi smirks a bit, nodding in acknowledgement and maybe a bit of thank Gaia. "That's good to know. See you round," she adds, before slipping around the opened door to depart for patrols and nightly rounds.
