Alicia is sitting on the couch, searching through a news paper out of boredom. She hums lightly, a smile crossing her features.
Footsteps sound along the wooden porch and the front door gets a soft knock before Yi opens it up. Looking about, she scans the living room for the familiar farmhouse occupants and smiles as she spots Alicia. "Anything interesting in there?" she asks as she enters and crosses over to the couch.
Alicia smiles and glances up at her, tracing a few shards of blonde hair from her face. "Mmm... nah.. not much. Can ya do me a big big big favor?"
Yi blinks, sitting down on a cushion beside Alicia. "What favor?" Eyebrows raise with curiosity.
Alicia grins, her lips pulling back along her features. "Can ya get Tom fo'me? AH'really wanna talk ta' 'em and its really frustrating being wi'out him." "You miss him a lot, na," Yi replies, leaning back against the couch. "I'll look for him for you. Where does he live?" She turns her head and gazes at the coggie cub with a small smile. "Didn't he come around here before?"
Alicia nods her head. "He used to, but he's scared to now. Jarred threatned him because he didn't want to see us together." Her shoulders shrug, then hands her a piece of paper with an address.
Taking a glance at the paper as she takes it from Alicia, Yi combs her hair with a hand. "Wonder why Jarred did that," she murmurs. Sticking the paper in her front pocket of her jeans, she turns her gaze towards the bookshelf.
"He said he was jealous, because I was one of his few friends he had, and that I was spending too much time with Tom, and thinking about him." Alicia offers a shrug, a confused look on her face, then lets out a breath.
Yi shakes her head slightly, closing her eyes at the thought of Jarred threatening kinfolk. "Maybe he feels he's losing friends. A wolf needs his pack," she replies with a bit of thought."
Alicia shrugs as well. "Well, he's starting one with James, and he was going to join one with Leda. But he blew her off, so now she's pissed as hell at him. But because of him, my kin won't come out to see me at all."
"That's unfortunate," Yi murmurs, still gazing towards the bookshelf. "I actually haven't seen that many kin around here. Strange, I think." Her eyes turn back to the cub. "I'll ask him to come back here and visit. We have to hope, though, that you'll be allowed out of the farmhouse sooner than later. Are you angry... at Jarred?"
Alicia shakes her head. "Nope. He apologized to me an all that shit. I'm still miffed, but I'm not angry. I'm over it. Its just hurting me that I can't be with the guy I'm crazy for. " She sighs softly. "Can you go over and see if you can fetch him?"
"Now?" Yi's question is followed with a raised eyebrow, and she draws out the paper with the address upon it to glance at the contents again.
Alicia giggles. "If you want to." She squirms a bit in the seat, her eyes lit up in excitement.
"Well... I suppose I could go, now." Yi rises from her spot on the couch, casting the cub a little unsure glance. "Give me an hour, or so," she tells Alicia, opening up the front door.
Alicia feels her grin brighten. "Thank you Song Yi! That is so awesome of ya." She flops back into the couch, stretching out. "I can't wait for him to see the new hair do."
It's late in the afternoon when Cindy enters the farmhouse. "Howdy and Howdy..." She greets. Each receives a curt nod of her head, and then the Glasswalker moves into the kitchen.
Yi turns back for a moment, nodding in greeting and departing at the Walker. "And you have Cindy to keep you company." She grins at the coggie cub, and disappears out the front door.
Tom's Place(#3289RFJ)
This is a not-so-typical college student dwelling. It consists of one large main area, a smaller bedroom with its own little bathroom and a small kitchen. The main room is all too neat for a college student. There is the usual assortment of entertainment items: TV, Stereo, VCR, and a couple of video game systems. Beside that is also a small stand containing an electric guitar and small amp. The rest of the furniture is simple, a large chair and couch, both brown to match the carpet. A wide window at the far end of the room lets in large amounts of sunlight during the day. Along the opposite wall is a bookcase. Predicitably enough, the bookcase is filled with books, and on top of it there are several pictures of Tom and his family, though oddly enough, there are no pictures of him in the past five years, not even a high school graduation pictures.

Tom
Yi knocks on Tom's front door.
Tom peers up from his book. With a grunt, he pulls himself up and trods over, "Who is it?" he calls out.
"A friend of Alicia's," comes Yi's voice, muffled by the door but distinct enough to make out.
Tom frowns slightly. He ponders getting his gun, just in case, but sighs. He wouldn't be able to do much anyway, he merely unlocks the door and opens it a bit, "What...what do you want?"
[Tom's desc
A young man in his early twenties, Tom stands at a little over six feet tall. He has a head of auburn hair cut short on the sides and left a little long on the top. His eyes are a very light blue, almost to the point of being grey and are framed by the handsome features of his face. He's a handsome fellow ranging more toward gentle and boyish than toward ruggedly handsome. His clothes are casual, though stylish. He wears a simple blue pull-over shirt with no design on it, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of sneakers.]
Tom would have to look down to see who he's talking to, as Yi's eyes gaze up towards him from her short height. "I've come to ask a favor, or rather, do a favor." Her face briefly contorts in a struggle over the grammar of her words, but she shakes off the little worry and looks at him.
Tom scratches his head lightly and, slowly, opens the door. "A favor?" he asks, confusedly. "Well, okay," he says, dubiously, "I suppose ask your favor."
"Well, ah," Yi begins, shifting her weight from side to side slightly. "Alicia asked me, to ask you, if you would visit her at the farmhouse. She is.. missing your company." Yi stumbles over the words slightly, again not all too sure about the wording. "And just so you know, there will be no threat made to you if you go or not."
Tom lets out a deep breath. "I...can't." He frowns slightly, scratching the back of his head, "I was already threatened and I don't think I could make myself go back."
"It's a hard favor to ask of you," Yi presses on, hoping he would change his mind. "She misses you a lot. I know you were threatened by Jarred, and that was out of line. He's apologized though, for his behavior." She runs a hand through her hair, slightly damp from a splash of water. "I ask you as a friend of Alicia's. She is feeling a little lonely, I think. And with no phone in the farmhouse, there's no way for her to contact you." Her eyes continue looking up at the kin, earnestly hoping he would agree.
Tom sighs deeply, ducking his head. "I know, I miss her too, but..." he shakes his head, "I...really don't think I can. I mean, I'm having a bit of a time with ...stuff. That...monster didn't help much, made it far worse than Alicia probably knows."
Yi takes a breath and slowly lets it go, looking down at the floor. "Would it help any if I said Jarred will never follow up on that? We are supposed to respect each other, not try to hurt one another." She scratches her head slightly, thinking of what Alicia would say if she came back empty-handed. "Please, would you go... for her? I don't want to go back and disappoint her. The look on her face was excited, and happy when I told her I would come and find you."
Tom rubs his head a bit, "I...don't know. I'm...I feel I'm going to have to have a nervous breakdown," he says softly, after a few moments. "Besides, that Jarred fellow already convinced me it may be a good idea to stay away from...those...sort of groupings."
"I don't see how seeing the one you miss is going to make you have a nervous breakdown," Yi replies, rubbing the back of her head. "What would it take to convince you that it is ok to see Alicia again? Jarred knows the consequences of hurting kin, as any of us do. But you are welcome to the farmhouse, as far as I know. There's just some of us that are more... ah.. what is the word... testy?" Her shifting stops, and she looks straight up at the man before her. "Am I supposed to go back and tell her you are not willing to go see her? That you don't want to see her?"
Tom blinks a bit, shaking his head. "No, no, I do want to see her. It's...the rest of the guys I have a qualm with," he says, voice much softer and a bit shakey.
Yi lifts her hand slowly towards Tom's shoulder, hesitating a moment before laying her hand on his shoulder and gazing at him. "She misses you enough that she would run from the farmhouse to your room here, were it not that she would end up in greater trouble than you have in the past. Am I going to say to her you are not willing to do the same?" She takes her hand off his shoulder, sticking it into the front pocket of her sweatshirt. "I'm not going to force you to come," she says softly. "But I think you both would be happier if you were to just see each other. Even if it is for a few minutes, I think it would be better than none. And if you are worried, there are those who will protect you if you are threatened again."
Tom shivers a bit, "Protect me?" He snorts, sighs then stands, "I don't need protection, I just need people that don't threaten to, ah, what was it? Rip my head from my shoulders in a bloody spray?" He frowns, "But I'll...come...I -guess-. For....for a very brief time."
Yi's face brightens, a genuine grin spreading over her features. She bows her head thankfully, stepping back from the doorway. "Thank you," she says to the kin. "It's a bit cold out, so I would bring a coat." She runs her hand through her hair again. "Alicia will be very happy." She smiles. "And nobody is going to... rip your head from your shoulders in a bloody spray." She shakes her head slightly at the thought of Jarred saying that.
Tom sighs softly, "I heard other things that weren't exaclty the truth either." He sighs deeply and goes to get his coat, returning a moment later. "Okay, I...I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be."
"You'll be fine," Yi replies, offering him the first step out. "Do you have a car, or should we take a taxi? It's a rather long run, even in ... lupus..." she says with an embarrassed chuckle. "Ah, so... well, since I keep referring to myself as Alicia's friend, I suppose a name would help. I'm Song Yi Ling, or just Yi." She then adds in a softer voice, "One of the Garou that won't rip off your head."
Tom just grunts softly, "I'm Tom, but you know that." He steps out, locking his door behind. "Yeah, I got a car," he says, walking around slowly to the garage where his shiney, new-looking sports car is. "Crawl on in."
Yi nods and crawls into the vehicle, careful not to tarnish anything. Cars like this, are a luxury she won't have. But hey, enjoy the ride while you have one. She waits for the kin to start the car and proceed on over towards the farmhouse.
Tom cranks the car, predictibly, then takes on off, zipping down the road at a reasonably safe speed.

Kitchen/Dining Room Front Door STairs
The newly created /blonde/ sits on the couch, hair sprawled about her shoulders as she continues to work at this forever impossible cross word puzzle. Alicia lays sprawled out along the couch, one knee drew up.
The quiet hum of a sports car being parked, followed by the sound of two doors closing, announces the presence of a couple of people. Following that are footsteps, and opening the front door is Yi. She smiles at Alicia. "He's here," she grins.
Tom is here, alright, but tense. His arms are crossed and his steps, well, somewhat labored. He nervously looks about, dropping his hands only to begin to wring them together and clears his throat quietly.
Alicia blinks and glances up, her lips curving back into a huge grin. Throwing her legs forward, she slips out of the couch and heads over towards them. The pale blonde with dark roots bounce a bit along her back, curls at the end. She's wearing a pair of camoflauge pants and a tight fitted elastic sports bra. Glancing up to him, she wets her lips. "Wow.. You..came.."
"And he's visiting for... how long?" Yi chuckles, trying to loosen up the poor kin's tenseness. "There's only us three here, Tom," she notes.
Tom peers around, still nervously, the whites of his eyes showing a bit as his eyes are a bit wide. "Ah, I...I don't know. Probably not too long, I'm afraid." He gives a weak smile, tilting his head. "H-hair's a bit different," he notices. "Jus' ah bit?" She drawls quietly, stopping before him. Reaching out, she traces her fingers lightly over the front of his shirt. "Thank you Yi. It means a lot to me."
Yi nods and proceeds to the kitchen for a couple of foodstuffs. So far as she knows, food makes people more comfortable in strange places.
Tom nods a little, "Yeah, I...I..." he then just shrugs slightly, letting out a soft breath. "Nevermind." He peers off after a few moments. "So...what all have I been missing..."
Alicia mmm's. "Ah've learned a new gift, one that can talk in people's minds." She smiles, leaning forward to kiss his cheek gently. "An well, ah'been hanging out wi' ah'lot of new people 'ere. Real good friends with some of them. Everyone keeps bragging tha' ah'm doing a good job. So who knows, maybe my riting will come up soon eh?"
Yi comes back from the kitchen with a trio of Coke cans and some apples she brought over yesterday. Offering the pair of them a piece of fruit and soda each, she grins at the coggie cub. "Well I hope they allow you out soon. How long has it been since you were in the city?"
Tom takes the drink, tenderly, and even an apple, though he doesn't eat the apple just yet. He nods to Alicia, but the 'gift' portion of it makes him furrow his brows in confusion. "Maybe," he says softly at the last part.
Alicia shrugs to Yi. "Um... almost...two months? Maybe three? Fo'got, lost track an all." She seems to be moving to a slight beat in the air as her hips move from left to right. She smiles and shakes her head slowly at the offering. "AH' already got some soda earlier. No thanks tho'." With that, she turns back to Tom and slips her hands into his front pockets, enjoying the simple closeness of them.
Yi shrugs and sets down the soda as she sits a bit off to the side on a floor cushion. "Who taught you that one, Alicia?" she pops open one of the cans of Coke beside her and sips.
Tom doesn't seem to mind, he's not quite as affectionate in return, though, as he's still...scared out of his mind. He moves and fidgets nervously, peering around a few moments.
"Jarred.. if you can believe it. He taught me way before the incident. Jus' nevah got ta' tell Tom yet." Alicia replies. Her gaze drifts up to the kin, then steps into his arms, leaning her head on his chest, sighing contently, eyes closed.
Yi stops in midsip, kind of surprised but not worried. She glances at Tom for his reaction. Setting down her can and swallowing, she takes a look at the nervous kin and then at the cuddly cub.
Tom's reaction is probably predictable. The name makes him shudder just a bit and peer around a few moments before falling into his rather un-relaxed state.
Alicia hmmms slightly under her breath, then bites her lip. "So? Um.. ya hungry?" She asks the kin, glancing up into his eyes, trying to grab his attention.
"If he gets any more nervous, his stomach is going to jump out from his throat." Yi makes her rather bold observation.
Tom peers over, frowning at the observation. He starts to snarl a reply, but really doesn't have it in him. "I...no, I'm okay," he tells Alicia. "Ate before I left..."
Alicia looks a bit uncomfortable and nervous herself. Why did she get the idea that this would be easy, that all they'd have to do was look into each other's eyes and take the pain away. Stepping back from him, she draws her fingers lightly down the fabric of his shirt, placing her palm over his heart.
Yi shrugs and nods. "Sorry, about the comment," she apologizes to the kin. Finishing her soda, she gets up to put the untouched can back in the fridge.
Tom ducks his head and lets out a sigh. He peers around again and says, "I'm...sorry Alicia," after a moment, as if sensing her disappointment.
"No.. don't be. I shouldn't have had Yi drag ya out. I was just... real lonely and I missed you." Alicia bites her lips and lets go of him, heading to the couch.
Yi remains in the kitchen, the sounds of clinking plates and such telling of food preparation.
Tom watches a few moments and nods, "I missed you too. I just...I don't know. I'm not good at this is what I think I'm saying."
Alicia leans into the couch and glances over at him. She pats the spot next to her. "I've talked ta'the other Garou 'ere and well.. they want ta' make sure you'll be ok. They don't want ya scared."
Tom sighs, slowly sitting on the spot, then says, "It is a little...late." He frowns slightly and peers off for a few long moments.
Alicia bites her lip a bit and lets out a long sigh. She reaches over and grabs your hand, squeezing it tightly. She tries to push her confidence into you, by some unseen, spiritual way. Leaning over, she slumps against your shoulder. "Don't go yet.. hold me for awhile."
Tom puts his arm around Alicia, lightly, hugging her. "I'm sorry," he says softly, again. "I really wish I could be ...better at this. I really suck as a kin."
Alicia drapes one arm around his chest, nuzzling into his warm body. "Mmmm... No.. you don't suck as a kin." She mummers quietly. "Your just scared. Shit, anyone would be Tom."
Tom closes his eyes. "No, probably not anyone. Someone who grew up with this would probably be perfectly fine." He sighs deeply and looks toward the door a few moments.
"Tom... no one, not even kin grow up around people turning into monsters. Today, Bernie scared me outta play when she leaped down from the second story in the barn in her crinos. We had some laughs, but still.. I freaked. I'm not always so confident either."
Tom just sighs, deeply, and shakes his head. "I suppose you're right," he murmurs, shivering a bit as he remembers his little trauma here.
Alicia scoots a bit onto her knees, staring into your eyes. "I won't say Ah'm right, I'm new to this also, but I'm trying my best to learn. You should also. Talk to Adam, or Lise."
[And Yi prepares dinner, has a good time, and goes home because her Player had homework.]
