Farmhouse: Kitchen and Dining Room
Homey is the first word to come to mind when looking at the farmhouse's kitchen. Dark, wood-paneled wainscoting covers the walls to about waist height, dark beige wallpaper continuing to the ceiling. Twin refrigerators occupy the north wall, facing the large six-burner stove on the south. The kitchen counter runs the length of the eastern wall, broken only by the double-basin sink. Cabinets run above and below the counter and a twin-pane window is set in the wall above the sink. A small pantry is set into an alcove alongside the refrigerators, presumably holding the deep freezer as well as shelves of dry goods.
Some twelve feet above the floor, a large chandelier hangs from the ceiling, lighting the dining room and casting long shadows over the bar to the kitchen. A long table occupies the center of the dining room, three chairs setting along each side, and one on each end. On the west wall, a large window looks out on the trees alongside the western pasture. Set into the north wall is a large cabinet, its glass doors closed on shelves containing a full compliment of fine china and glassware as well as a few decorative nicknacks. On the east, a wide bar separates the dining room from the kitchen.
An opening in the southern wall allows passage to the front entryway of the house, while a sliding glass door in the kitchen opens to a clearing behind the house.

Luc bobs his head in a nod, like an unpracticed child mimicking an action he has seen adults do. "Then, learn gift. Ignore pain."

Alicia blinks a bit. "There's a gift for that? And I could learn it? I didn't know that...could you teach me?" She asks, her curiousity perked now.

Yi comes in from the barn, yawning softly with some hay stuck in her hair. It's obvious where she's been. "Good morning, she greets Alicia and the unfamiliar face gets a slight nod of the head.

Luc nods again, more firmly. "Ja, can teach. Not now. When you test. Ignore pain gift good. Fight Enemy stronger. When others fight, you stand in way, make them stop."

Luc looks back at the stranger assessingly.

[Luc (Nightflash) homid desc
At just under six feet, six inches in height, and with a sturdy frame, Luc is not a small man. He is strong, and has the rugged look of one who has built up that strength working outdoors. Two large, brown eyes are set in an open, friendly face ringed by unruly blonde hair. His clothing is much like himself: simple, but functional. When he speaks, his voice is soft, like one who is unsure of his words, and he has a very strange accent. A large patch of ugly scar tissue is visible at the base of his throat, disappearing beneath his shirt.]

Alicia nods her head and thinks about that fo ra moment, then smiles. Her gaze turns towards Yi, lips pulling into a wide grin. "Good Morning Yi, Ah'got pancakes up on th'table if yer' 'ungry." She motions to the spread of food.

Yi assumes this must be one of Alicia's teachers, as she heard him talking about gifts and fighting enemies. "Song Yi Ling," she introduces to the much larger man, "Three-Blades, new moon cliath of the Bone Gnawers." A grateful nod to Alicia, and a snag of a pancake follows.

Luc answers simply, "Luc. Full moon, Gaia Child."

Alicia clears her throat after taking a sip of her milk. "Luc is going to be the one doing my wolf teaching soon." She explains to the Gnawer.

Yi nods and ahs softly around a bite of breakfast. After swallowing, she glances over Luc. "It's a good thing to know, wolf stuff," she notes. "I'm still on hold with the Wendigo, seems they're a busy lot. But Squall's supposed to show me a thing or two about the woods too."

A surprised look crosses Luc's face. "Bone Gnawer learn from Wendigo?"

Yi smiles and nods a yes. "Learn about woods, trees, animals, scouting in the Wyld, survival outside the Scab," she replies to the surprised man. "Asked Soulcatcher-rhya to teach, and he said yes, as long as we teach him about the Scab in return."

The explanation doesn't seem to do anything to alleviate Luc's surprise at the situation. "Strange," is all he comments.

Yi chuckles softly, finishing up the pancake and washing her hands in the sink. "Not strange, just different," she remarks, drying her hands on her sweatshirt. "New moons have to be," she grins, "so I'm the first of many."

Alicia smiles and finishes off her glass of milk, then stands as well. "Well, I figure the best to learn about the woods, is either one born of wolf, or a wendigo, can't go wrong there."

"We're all Garou," Yi intones, "so we all should know a little bit about the Mother's face right? Even the most Scab-side Garou needs to know a little bit about Gaia." She heads towards the backdoor. "I've got to run, but I'll be back later tonight. Don't be a bad," she grins at Alicia. Giving Luc a parting nod, she pushes open the door and heads out.
