Farmhouse: Hallway and Living Room
All doorways in the front part of the house lead to the front hallway, a J-shaped area with the short tail starting at the stairs, the front door hitting the bottom curve, the doorless opening to the living room halfway up the long side, and the also doorless opening to the kitchen and dining room at the very top. The hall has a simple wooden floor, and decorated with a generic print of soft-colored flowers hanging on the wall to the right of the front door, and a tall table sitting under the print which serves as a place to toss keys. A closet under the stairs serves as a place to hang coats or to toss shoes.
The doorless opening to the living room is halfway up the side of the hall's J, and the word cozy might spring to mind when looking into is, as it seems to radiate comforting vibrations. A long couch sits against the south wall beneath a large bay window curtained only by sheers that manages to obscure the view in but only filters the day's light. A variety of out-of-date magazines are strewn atop a low coffee table; more neatly presented are the plethora of books filling the small bookshelves which line the eastern wall. Three chairs sit about the room, focused inward, to allow group conversations. Large floor pillows are stacked in one corner of the room, except one, which lies carelessly in the middle of the floor, apparently left out the last time it was used.
An opening in the northern end of the hallway allows access to the kitchen and dining room at the back of the house, while carpeted stairs twist up at the other end of the hall, leading to the second floor. A door at the base of the J lets out to the front porch.

Kitchen/Dining Room Front Door STairs

Yi peeks in through the window on the porch, before poking her head through the front door of the farmhouse. "Hellooooo?"

Alicia hops down the last step of the stairs, her hair wet and pulled back. "Hey Yi!" She calls out, giving a quick grin.

Yi gives a short start, and nearly closes the door on her neck before she stops herself with the other hand. "Surprised me," she blinks and laughs at the wet Licia. "You're looking a lot..." she searches for the word, "chipper."

Alicia nods her head and lifts her chin up a bit. "I know, just got done talking to Dante, he says I'm ready for my Rite and he'll talk to the others for me." Heading to the couch, she flops down onto it, glancing over. "Oh.. an I saw Bernie today.. she just got back from her rite.. she passed."

Yi slips in and sits down on one of the floor cushions beside the couch, crosslegged. "That's good good... finally getting about to the real iss--wha?" The Canto-Gnawer looks surprised. "She's done? Already?" Yi cants her head to a side and blinks. "Well... that was fast. Though I think Matt holds the record. Even if he says he ran to Ireland and back, he wasn't even gone a night." The Gnawer then smiles back up at Alicia. "You'll get through no problem. So..." Yi chews on her lip a moment. "Sorry about leaving, before, those couple of times. Left when the Fianna cub, Cameron, came over and hugged you when you were sad.. and.." Yi rubs the back of her neck. "I'm sorry. Not good with, words...even in my own language." Nervous laugh.

Alicia smiles and reaches out, hugging you instead. "Don't worry, the night only got worse from there, but its not a big deal." After the affectionate moment, she steps back and smooths down her pants.

Yi returns the hug, stiff with disuse, but with a meaning of affection. "Got worse after? Kaah.. I'm sorry." She shakes her head slightly. "And Allie leaving too, people going back to their home septs or getting called back... I .." The Gnawer steels herself. "Well.. I'm sure my sept's doing fine. We Gnawers are a hardy bunch." Small sniff. "So did Dante, say anything about the rite? Only that he'd go talk with the other elders?"

Alicia mmms. "Yah. Only that he had to talk with the others about setting it up or whatever. I'm not quite sure how thats going to go. All I know is that I'm ready, and I feel ready, and I'm going to do this." She dips her head in a firm nod, then flashes a wide grin.

Yi smiles back, warmly. "I'm really glad you're happy again," she says softly. "If there's something I wouldn't want to bring to Nevada's or Bernie's ears, is that you're not happy." She glances up towards the stairway, then towards the kitchen, then back at Alicia. "So then, what are you going to do afterwards? When you come back and call me -yuf."

Alicia grins. "I'm doing to Disneyland! Errr.... that an I'm going to find my brother, say Hi to him..an see about figuring out if he's kin or not."

Yi arches her eyebrows up, as if remembering the MickeyD's man. "Oh yes, what's his name..that Nevada called him. Was one of the states.. uhm.. Not Washington.. Dakota? California? No no.." She looks up a little apologetically towards the Coggie. "Sorry.. I haven't been going to McDonald's in a long time."

Alicia chuckles at her and says. "Texas. His name is Ben." Smiling, she stretches out her arms, rolling her shoulders back into a pop.

Yi doesn't look disturbed by the sound, instead leaning up against the couch. "Ben, that's right... Texas." She nods slowly, putting that somewhere in her mind for the future. "So I guess my pack never got back to you about the name, hunh," she says softly. "I think, though, Rising Storm sounds good. Haven't actually talked to Soulcatcher or Little Bear or Duane yet, though. Well... come to think of it I haven't talked with Sepdet either since that one time. I'll have to go to the lake again." She brightens some. "Hey, if your elders will let you off the bawn for a little, to go visit the lake, you should come! Have you ever seen a buffalo? They're BIG." She holds out her arms for emphasis, even stretching her fingertips out.

"Err...I've seen em', in books." Alicia says with a slight smile, then leans back some. "I'd love to come to the lake and see everything. I'd have to ask Dante I guess. I don't see why not." Giving her friend a bright smile, she leans forward a bit. "I can't wait... I wonder what my Rite will be like.. An Oh.. you still like the name eh? Rising-Storm?" Everytime she says it, she likes it more an more, proud of her creativity.

Cameron steps in from the porch outside, and gives Alicia a wary glance. Nodding to Yi, with his eyes still on Alicia, the Fianna greets them. "Yi. Alicia. How're we feeling this morning?" His voice is cheerful on the surface, but the question's for Alicia, there.

Yi looks up at Cam from her floor cushion and nods to him. "Hello," she greets politely. To Alicia she quirks her lip up in a smile. "I like the sound of it. Sort of like, the clouds on the border of bringing the rains to wash the land." She chews on the syllables some. "Do you think it sounds like too much, for a healing and cleansing pack?"

Alicia shakes her head. "Nuh uh.. I think Rising Storm is perfect. Because when during a storm, the rain and wind washes down across the land and refills the lakes and oceans, and blows away the garbage and filth and all the bad air. In a way, its a ragey, Garou way of saying cleansing ya'know what I mean? And when it rains, it heals the fish, because it gives them fresh water an stuff. Your totem should like that." To Cameron, the Galliard babbles on. "Hey Cam. I'm ok."

Cameron smiles at Yi. "Sounds like broiling clouds and thuderheads, ready to scour the earth with lightning, to me." He gives a half-shrug, and stalks into the kitchen. "Maybe there's something Freudian in that." he adds, wryly.

Yi tilts her head in Cameron's direction, blinking at him as he moves towards the kitchen. "Freudian?" She looks to Alicia for translation.

Alicia shrugs at Yi, wetting her lips.

Yi blinks at the Coggie, and shrugs back. Oh well, some things are to be learned later. Maybe she can get Bernie to explain. "The idea is there, about cleansing and raining down on the land 'some o' that Healin' powah!'" The Gnawer does a poor, if not very strange attempt at tele-evangelist imitations. "Or we could go with something close. Rainfall, was what I thought about. It doesn't quite have the Rage behind it, though, as Rising Storm."

In the back of the house, Cameron rummages in the refridgerator, pulling out a coke, and returns to the living room. As he walks in, his says quietly, almost ot himself, "Some guy, Sigmund Freud, did a lot of analysis of the subconscious. We attribute a lot of our knowledge of psychology to him. And sometimes, when there's a difference between our conscious thoughts, and our subconscious, or a process we don't understand, we say it's something of his." He shrugs, and takes a seat in Steven's armchair, sipping the coke. "For anyone who wants to know. There's lots of books about him."

Alicia grins at Yi and slightly nudges her. "Rainfall sounds kinda...wussy..." She teases, then rustles up the Gnawer's hair a bit. Looking into the kitchen, she shouts. "Hey! Fianna, chop chop! Make some cocoa!"

Yi aiyas and tries combing her hair back into place. The explaination of Freud doesn't get much enthusiasm. "I think I'll just listen to theories. It's hard enough to read the newspapers." To Alicia, "Well it's better than Fishheads," she protests with a wry grin before blinking between Cameron and Alicia and her order of cocoa.

Cameron tilts his head consideringly at Alicia. "And who's the fantastic cook of this house, then? You. I'm sure you'd do a much better job, and it's surely just as easy as /supervising/ me to make sure I don't get it wrong, right?"

Alicia starts to laugh as she quirks a brow upwards to the Fianna. "Oh c'mon. You did such a good job last time Cameron, you are the bomb." She peers over the couch to him, sitting up on her knees. "An if you do a good job, I'll let you rub my feet again."

Yi blinks some more, then shrugs. "Pecking order's everywhere." She glances towards the kitchen to see if Cameron will actually respond obediently.

Cameron twists his mouth, and lowers an eyebrow at Alicia. "Alright." he says grudgingly. "But only because I want your body, understand?" he adds, with a cheeky grin. Blowing a kiss to finish, before looking to Yi. "You too?"

Alicia grins quite proud of herself, then glances to Yi. "Yes, she'd like her feet rubbed also. Thanks for asking.

Cameron gives Yi a curt nod, and a mischievious smile. "Good. I'd enjoy that." He heads back to the kettle.

Yi stares at Alicia, feeling embarrassed. "Ah.. cocoa, is..fine," she stutters out her reply quietly. She looks at Cameron's back, then gives Alicia a 'What???' look.

Alicia nods and gives her the thumbs up look, winking to the Gnawer. She then leans over and whispers something in her ear.

Alicia whispers "He said he'll even suck on our toes if we want, long as we wash 'em."

In the back of the house, Cameron chuckles to himself as he busies himself around the kettle and the mugs. "Careful what you say. Your cocoa might jump up and bite you in the ass." he notes, aware that something's going on behind his back.

Yi jerks surprised away from Alicia just stares some more at the galliard before turning to hide the blush. "I.. I ah, no that's not necessary." She clears her throat and turns back to Alicia. Have you no shame?

Alicia clearly has no shame. She simply grins, winking once.

In the back of the house, Letting the kettle boil, Cameron steps back into the living room to observe a grinning Alicia and an embarassed Yi. He tilts his head, and puts his hands on his hips. "You didn't go inviting /another/ one of your friends to a threesome with Tom, did you?" he asks Alicia, disapprovingly.

Alicia blinks and clears her throat at that, giving a quick glare to Cameron. "NO! I told her that you'd suck on her toes as long as she washed 'em." Huff.

Yi facepalms, again a soft aiya behind the hand. Then she wills herself to look up at Cameron and Alicia. "Just, cocoa," she manages out before ducking her head again. Kinkiness and vivid imaginations just produce embarrassing flushes in the skin.

Cameron grins at Yi, then to Alicia. He gives her a conspirational wink. "Pity." he says, with genuine feeling. "I reckon I prefer Asian women." he adds pointedly to Alicia, with a hint of a smirk, then turns and heads back into the kitchen.

Alicia watches Cameron go and grins a bit, calling back. "You know.. Asian women do have good stamina. And they are /awesome/ kissers." Looking back to Yi, she wiggles her brows suggestivly.

Yi just seems to become more and more turtle like as she stares in horror at Alicia. "What? I.. no.. we.." Oh yeah, she's embarrassed. She mutters something in her own language and covers her head with her arms.

In the back of the house, Cameron chuckles some more, and when the kettle boils, slowly and carefully mixes up the three drinks. He picks up the three mugs with little difficulty, and moves into living room again.

Alicia watches Yi for a moment, then starts to giggle as she slumps down into the couch, giving her award winning smile to Cameron.

Cameron frowns at Alicia, still managing a wry smile, then passes a mug of cocoa down to the huddled up Yi. "Hey. Teacher? Cute look. You got me interested, now. But here's your cocoa. Gotta keep your strength up." He smiles softly at her, looking for all the world as if he's serious. Apart from the quick wink that she may or may not notice.

Yi clears her throat and looks up, taking the mug with a short nod. "Thank you," she says in a whisper, before ducking her head down towards the mug at the wink that obviously was noticed.

Alicia can't stop giggling as she leans over, resting her head on Yi's shoulder, just for effect. Batting her eyes, she leans up to softly whisper in her ear.

Alicia whispers "Rarrrrr. ((LOL)) Ya'know I'm kidding wi' ya."

Cameron wets his lips, still looking at Yi. "Oh well. Your loss." he says laughingly, then crosses over to Alicia on the couch, handing her a mug, and shifting her legs to make room for himself. Getting quite comfortable.

Yi gradually, slowly, comes out of her invisible shell just enough to sip at the cocoa and listen to Alicia's whisper. She huffs quietly, still flushed but closing up the floodgates. She tries changing the subject away. "This is.. nice." She swallows, looking to Cam and points to the cocoa with a hand. "You must make cocoa a lot."

"Why do I always walk into weird shit?" Helen announces as she steps into the farmhouse, slamming the door behind her without a care in the world. She's grinning crookedly at Alicia at the moment.

Alicia grins back over to Helen. "Cuz' yer a ragabash, an yer' ah' weird magnet." She smiles, pushing herself up.

Cameron grins mischeivously at Yi. "Only for all the beautiful women in my life." he chuckles, and gives her a wink. Looking up at Helen, he smiles broadly. "G'day. You're a spot late for cocoa. Feel the need?"

Yi clears her throat again, and starts with tense surprise as Helen slams in. Don't think she'll ever get used to that. "Hello, ah.. Helen," she greets after some extra pause for names and faces. Alicia's no-moon comment gets her a brief eye and Cameron... man this cub. Flirt.

Helen tucks some of her dark hair behind an ear. "I'm a weird magnet? Cool," she replies to Alicia, grinning toothily. Her eyes move from Alicia to Cameron, and she winks. "I can get myself whatever. I'm not thirsty, though. Even though I just got back from running around near the woods. Patrollin'. I'm a scout, baby."

Alicia grins and heads over to Helen, clearing her throat and announcing. "Dante says I should be ready to Rite, so he's ganna talk to the tribe to see whats up about that or not."

Helen grins and raises her thumb to Alicia. "Cool beans, Rises-From-the-Foam," she says, and giggles insanely at that little in-joke. "You'll pass. I know you will. We can pack together, or something. Whatever happens, though." The new moon Fury keeps her wide grin for her 'little sister'.

Cameron just smiles, and settles back quietly, drinking his cocoa.

Yi seems relieved for the change of subject. Thank Gaia for ragabi who actually know what they're doing. "And you, Helen?" she queries quietly. "Have you been Rited too? Seems I need to.. update my mind's list."

Helen grins absently. "Rited a month ago," she says to the Gnawer.

Cameron tilts his head at Helen, consideringly. And swallows a few mouthfuls of cooling cocoa."

"Good to hear, good to hear," Yi replies with a slow nod. "What does your tribe call you now? Last I remember, you didn't prefer your name very much."

Helen keeps the grin, but shrugs. "Cycle-Breaker," she answers, and doesn't seem to be fond of it: but she'll deal.

Yi chews on the name mentally as well. "Cycle-Breaker. Interesting," she finally says after some thought. She looks back down, seeing her cocoa is long sipped away. Looking outside, she blinks. "Whoa, it's dark. I ought to get going." She stands up, holding her cup in both hands. To Cameron she raises the mug. "Thanks, for the cocoa." The still a little testing glint in her eye shines at that particular moment before she moves to the kitchen to wash the cup.

You go through the open doorway at the end of the front hall to enter the large room subdivided into the kitchen and dining room of the house.

Farmhouse: Kitchen and Dining Room
Homey is the first word to come to mind when looking at the farmhouse's kitchen. Dark, wood-paneled wainscoting covers the walls to about waist height, dark beige wallpaper continuing to the ceiling. Twin refrigerators occupy the north wall, facing the large six-burner stove on the south. The kitchen counter runs the length of the eastern wall, broken only by the double-basin sink. Cabinets run above and below the counter and a twin-pane window is set in the wall above the sink. A small pantry is set into an alcove alongside the refrigerators, presumably holding the deep freezer as well as shelves of dry goods.
Some twelve feet above the floor, a large chandelier hangs from the ceiling, lighting the dining room and casting long shadows over the bar to the kitchen. A long table occupies the center of the dining room, three chairs setting along each side, and one on each end. On the west wall, a large window looks out on the trees alongside the western pasture. Set into the north wall is a large cabinet, its glass doors closed on shelves containing a full compliment of fine china and glassware as well as a few decorative nicknacks. On the east, a wide bar separates the dining room from the kitchen.
An opening in the southern wall allows passage to the front entryway of the house, while a sliding glass door in the kitchen opens to a clearing behind the house.

In the front rooms, Cameron gives Yi a wave, and a wistful smile. "Y'all come back now, ya hear?" He grins. "And make sure your feet are nice and clean." he adds a little more quietly, and mischeivously.

Yi tenses almost invisibly as she washes the mug and sets to dry it. "Right..." she replies with her voice calmed. Then she mutters something again indecipherable, and calls back to the others. "I'll see you around." With that, she slips out the sliding door and into the edges of the forest.
