The front door opens up and in strides the pair of Urban Garou, sharing themselves a good laugh about something Nevada did months ago. Its one of the few ways they can come to terms with his death, remember him fondly.
In the back of the house, Matt shrugs. "Makes sense. O'ill take February, then, an' get back to me if anytime gets a little fin."
Walking in all the way to towards the base of the stairs, Yi peeks into the kitchen area. "I remember he made Mickey Mouse pancakes. I don't know how he got it to look like that, but he was good at it." The asian girl leans up against the wall, resting her legs for a moment.
In the back of the house, Sepdet smiles. "Thank you. That's five months down, seven to go." She glances towards the front room speculatively as she pours up her hot chocolate. "And most of the sept. I have Seeker, Rags, Mitch, Salem, Anneka, and Dane so far, with several others who said they would do it but haven't yet given me a moon."
"Well, he couldn't read a fucking cook book if his life depended on it, but for some reason he was able to make the ingredients work." Alicia comments, glancing over towards the kitchen as a pair of voices catches her ears.
In the back of the house, Matt nods. "remind me, please, rhya. Not known for my memory, Oi am." He opens the second bottle.
Yi chuckles. "It isn't too hard to watch the TV and learn that way though," Yi does reply before looking towards the kitchen again. "That sounds like Matt," she says quietly to the Coggie galliard.
In the back of the house, Sepdet chuckles at that. "Oh, I will. You may also have something to jog your memory." She raises her voice deliberately as she carries her mug back towards the the table where she and the Fianna are talking over their respective drinks of choice. "During Cracking at next moot, I have asked a half-moon to call on all members of the Circle-- a circle of defenders, a circle of the year, a circle of the whole sept-- to take a blood oath on this, in the name of all those who have given their lives protecting the caern."
"And Sepdet." Alicia notes, making her way into the kitchen to catch the conversation and listen in on it.
You go through the open doorway at the end of the front hall to enter the large room subdivided into the kitchen and dining room of the house.
Farmhouse: Kitchen and Dining Room
Homey is the first word to come to mind when looking at the farmhouse's kitchen. Dark, wood-paneled wainscoting covers the walls to about waist height, dark beige wallpaper continuing to the ceiling. Twin refrigerators occupy the north wall, facing the large six-burner stove on the south. The kitchen counter runs the length of the eastern wall, broken only by the double-basin sink. Cabinets run above and below the counter and a twin-pane window is set in the wall above the sink. A small pantry is set into an alcove alongside the refrigerators, presumably holding the deep freezer as well as shelves of dry goods.
Some twelve feet above the floor, a large chandelier hangs from the ceiling, lighting the dining room and casting long shadows over the bar to the kitchen. A long table occupies the center of the dining room, three chairs setting along each side, and one on each end. On the west wall, a large window looks out on the trees alongside the western pasture. Set into the north wall is a large cabinet, its glass doors closed on shelves containing a full compliment of fine china and glassware as well as a few decorative nicknacks. On the east, a wide bar separates the dining room from the kitchen.
An opening in the southern wall allows passage to the front entryway of the house, while a sliding glass door in the kitchen opens to a clearing behind the house.

Hallway/Living Room Back Door
Yi journeys in after the galliard, catching Sepdet's last statement about blood oaths. She bows her head once in greetings. "Good evening. Talking about the next moot?" She glances over at Alicia meaningfully for a moment, and then back to the other pair.
Sepdet blows steam into her nose by accident while cooling her drink, and sneezes. "Yes. And my little plan to keep the enemy from catching us offguard again."
"Which 'alf-moon," Matt asks, "if ye doan't mind me askin'." He takes another draught of beer and nods to ALicia and Yi.
"Hey Matt, Sep." Alicia says as she gives Yi a slight nudge with her elbow. "So you are pretty much rotating Garou in and out of the bawn for different shifts? Thats pretty dope."
Getting nudged and looking at Alicia quizzically, Yi moves to choose a spot, leaning against the counter wall beside the fridge door. She listens in on Sepdet's 'little plan' and nods once she's got a gist of the topic. "I think it's a good idea. Sounds like you have many volunteers already."
Sepdet shakes her head at Yi. "A handful. I need a great deal more to commit, for this to work, so that there are several of the Circle on hand each month."
Sepdet replies to Matt, "Salem. I reckon anyone who promises something before his eyes will take the matter fairly seriously." There's a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
Matt nods. "Aye, they better. Oi 'ad a favor ta ask. Touchin' on yer expertise.... If you 'ave the time."
Alicia offers up her voice. "Well Sepdet, I'd like to volunteer to do this as well. I'd be honoured in helping out."
"Hang on." The Strider pokes a thumb towards Yi and a pinkie towards Alicia. "Yi, when you've got things settled, let me know which month you'd like." She winks. "I'll make sure I'm there. Alicia, I'm grateful to every single last person who offers here. Just choose me a month before Moot. I need to give a list to the alpha, who had doubts about whether I could actually organize this such that it could work."
Yi nods again, though leaning off to a side to open the refridgerator and check out what's inside for a drink. "It can be these coming winter months, if need be," Yi says with picking out a bottle of soda. "How many more does the circle need?"
Matt snorts. "Free hunnerd or so would do nicely, Oi'm sure."
"Mmmm.. Well, I'd like to take November, Sepdet." Alicia offers, chuckling slightly. "That way I'm close enough to the farmhouse to whip up a huge thanksgiving dinner."
Sepdet chuckles at Alicia. "Very well. Yi, how would you like to take February with this Irishman?" She jabs an elbow at the incomprehensible Fianna.
Yi twists open the soda with a short pop and fizz, and nods to Sepdet. "Ok," she agrees with a light smile at the Fianna. "If we can give the unseen enemy an impression of hundreds, then that would be a great trick."
Sepdet takes a slow sip. "Well, having new patrollers spotted every month-- as well as the Guardians-- has got to be better than our 'Oh, I think I'll take a turn around the caern' plan before. Not that I want people to stop doing that. The more the merrier, as they say. But this makes it firmer."
"It would ensure that the Guardians are not so few as before," Yi notes aloud, a twinge of bitter anger still residual coupling with the full moon's influence.
Matt drinks quietly, looking around.
Sepdet shakes her head. "The Guardians are always the Guardians. Those of us who patrol with them would be under their authority and the Warder's. They have something the rest of us who tend to other things never quite get: a day-to-day, year in, year out connection to the caern, and a Totem and pack tailored specifically to its defense. That is their honor and burden. They have the most experience. This is just the rest of us doing our share too." She smiles. "It will work. And it will let /everyone/ feel a closer connection to the caern, even those whose work takes them far away."
"I see," Yi answers slowly, taking a sip of her soda around a thoughtful expression. "It would certainly give us a way to connect with Chimera. Ten-Thousand-Faces could really be quite a strange spirit without a deeper understanding, so Sifu told me."
Sepdet peers at the swirling patterns in her mug. "I need to sleep in the caern umbra and anchor myself better to her, so I can start to introduce her to others. We should bond more with these Totems. That was the other trouble with Fog; it was seldom in our hearts."
Matt sighs. "If it was, it didn't tell us," he quips. He peers around the kitchen, as if carefully considering everything in it.
Yi listens to the soda fizzle, and then takes a long drink of the caffeinated liquid in a guzzle that drains over half the bottle. "Kaaaaa," is her quiet, if pleasantly stinging throaty aftervoice. After which, she realizes how unmannerly that must have been and looks a bit embarrassed. "Ah, well... then I guess I will be heading after Alicia, and turn back to the city. See you both around," she says with a brief one-bottle salute.
Sepdet raises a hand. "Keep safe, scout," she tells her ex-packmate companionably. She tips her head back to finish off the mug and sets it down with a clunk. "Don't steal too many wallets."
Matt returns the salute with his own bottle. "Doan't be a stranger, me china." He turns to Sepdet. "So...."
Yi smiles and shrugs her shoulders in a voiceless laugh, before nodding to the Strider's 'command'. "I won't," she answers her, "at least, not the undeserving." Peering at Matt once, the asian girl just bows her head with a quick bob, and slips out of the sliding door with her near finished drink.
