Odeon - Upstairs Lounge(#3729RA)
This is one of the few rooms in the theatre which gets enough light during the day not to trip over one's own feet. One whole wall has a wide bank of filthy windows which look out west onto the filthier street below. Across from the stairs are the washrooms, and the projectionist's booth is nestled in to the left of them. In a corner is a wooden construction that must once have been a wide, comfortable bench, but all the padding has been removed except for rare traces, and it's now just rough plywood and unsanded boards. The walls are a creamy yellow though they probably weren't painted that colour, and everything's grimy and dusty. The corner opposite the bench, near the stairs, seems to be serve as the garbage, which spills about a metre out from the wall at its deepest. It's a gruesome heap of organic and inorganic rot, needles, bottles, and styrofoam containers, to which a family of rats has staked its claim, which they defend with violent chittering at the slightest provocation. Open windows keep the place from stinking up too bad, but there's still an underlying, unpleasant funk.

Projectionist's Booth  Downstairs

The soft hum of Yi's voice floats down the stairway. The Gnawer ragabash takes residence upon the bench, bent over a book with the light of a candle flickering beside her.

"Yo!" Comes Ali's voice echoing through the Odeon as she wanders, having hiked it from the club. Ugh, stupid ass posers. "Yi, you here?! Olga?" Thump, thump, her feet echo up the stairs.

Yi looks up, the humming cut off with the entrance of the galliard. "Up here!" she calls down, quickly shutting the book closed and turning to squint slightly with the adjustment of light. "What are you doing out here, Alicia?" There's a pause. "Is something wrong?"

"Yeah, your boyfriend jacked up my car, stole my radio and god knows what else." Alicia says as she makes her way to the top, letting out a loud huff, arms swaying at her sides. "Fucker wouldn't leave me alone at the club, so he got pissed cuz I wouldn't give in to his BS an he screwedup Tom's Mustang."

Yi stands up abruptly. "He What?!" The wide-eyed look of surprise fizzles away into a furrowed brow - one that quickly turns into a picture of restrained anger. She starts towards the stairs just as you get up them, stopping briefly to remember the candle left burning. Seeing as the ragabash is muttering a million Cantonese curses a minute, no, she's not happy.

"Its alright. I talked to Marcus. I got it handled." Alicia says as she flops into a chair, rocking back some, kicking her feet up on a box.

A couple more muttered curses later, Yi sucks in a breath and settles with a rub of her hand against her forehead. "Marcus will kill them," she notes quietly, eyes lowering back to the candle as she steps back and resumes her place on the bench. She looks down at the book and sighs out. 'Biscuit Finds A Friend', with the cutesy dog on the cover as well, looks like a checked out library book. "I've been keeping watch here," she says out of the blue. "Olga has called us all in. It seems like there is more than just Wayne to worry about."

"Marcus won't kill 'em, just scare the holy shit outta 'em. Wayne says that I'm a punkass cuz' I'm not whoring myself on the corner no more. She thinks I don't got hook ups." Alicia says with a grin, then tilts her head. "What is going on? Spill it."

Yi looks torn between believing you, and perhaps doing things herself in regards to Wayne. But it is your talk of whoring that causes her gaze to drop down to the book, even thought she stares absently at the cover. "Just some disputes with the gangs in the area. They are becoming a bit of a problem, and some of them might try to move in here."

"You want my help?" Alicia asks as she tilts her head to you again, giving your knee a nudge. "I got sway in some of the local gangs still, at least I think I do." She exhales with a bright smile.

Yi looks up at your foot, and then up to your face, trying to put on a smile. "I think Olga would appreciate the offer. And at least, I appreciate your coming here. And your... you dealing with Wayne." She wets her lips. "But Alicia, I'm very sorry for burdening you and causing you so much trouble with him. I... didn't really think of what would happen with him."

Alicia shrugs her shoulders. "Don't worry, its OK." She admits. "He'll get what is coming to him soon enough. No one ruins my good time." Stretching herself out, she sprawls in the chair, giving you a slight grin. "Once they meet Marcus, I'm sure no one will fuck with me again."

"Still," Yi starts to protest, but then decides it's not going to get her anywhere. Her hand comes up to push her long, badly in need of a cut hair out of the way. "Hopefully, he will learn the first time around with Marcus. But... why Marcus? You could have told me what happened too."

Alicia tilts her head. "Because, I'm sure Marcus is bored, that an he runs the city. It'd be hillarious to see what he does." She admits.

Yi arches a brow, then knits it. "You mean he runs a Part of the city," she clarifies, lips drawing into a line.

Alicia shrugs her shoulders. "Well, yah. You know what I mean. Roaches an all. This is their forte'. They enjoy this kinda stuff."

Yi slowly relaxes again, shaking her head. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so... uncooperative." She looks to the book again, picking it up and gazing at the cover. "And I really do thank you. For coming over here. It gets a little boring, as the rats do not speak back."

"Well, you could always hang out at my place." Alicia notes as she peers about the Odeon. "Its warmer." She admits. "That and you don't get the creeps knowing yer in a porn house."

Yi glances up from the book cover, and looks about at the darkness. "Smells better too," she says slowly, her mood gradually building back up to its former, hum-worthy level. "What about Tom's car? How are you going to get back?"

[Assumingly, Alicia does make it back to her apartment without trouble.]
