Farmhouse: Kitchen and Dining Room
Homey is the first word to come to mind when looking at the farmhouse's kitchen. Dark, wood-paneled wainscoting covers the walls to about waist height, dark beige wallpaper continuing to the ceiling. Twin refrigerators occupy the north wall, facing the large six-burner stove on the south. The kitchen counter runs the length of the eastern wall, broken only by the double-basin sink. Cabinets run above and below the counter and a twin-pane window is set in the wall above the sink. A small pantry is set into an alcove alongside the refrigerators, presumably holding the deep freezer as well as shelves of dry goods.
Some twelve feet above the floor, a large chandelier hangs from the ceiling, lighting the dining room and casting long shadows over the bar to the kitchen. A long table occupies the center of the dining room, three chairs setting along each side, and one on each end. On the west wall, a large window looks out on the trees alongside the western pasture. Set into the north wall is a large cabinet, its glass doors closed on shelves containing a full compliment of fine china and glassware as well as a few decorative nicknacks. On the east, a wide bar separates the dining room from the kitchen.
An opening in the southern wall allows passage to the front entryway of the house, while a sliding glass door in the kitchen opens to a clearing behind the house.

Hallway/Living Room Back Door
Basil catches the sandwich at just about the last minute, taking it and having a bite. "Just trying to help. I hope I can get to learning and all of that soon, so I can do more then sit around. Useless right now. I know it'll change, but still... " He takes another bite of the sandwich, another swig of water, going quiet as he turns his eyes to the woman. "Hello."
Tecmessa turns around, some milk in hand, and salutes Brom with it. She's fairly casual, except for a certain undefined tension in her shoulders. "I'm Tecmessa Ardenas. Black Fury. Philodox. I used to be around these parts quite frequently, but then I was called to California. And... who are /you/?"
Auggie blinks at the woman as she enters. He starts to ask the same question as Brom, but as it's articulated he just stares, and chews noisily on his sandwich. "Huh. Called to California... by another Sept?" He looks over to Brom and mutters quietly, "Let's talk about this later. I'll come by the Brownstone, 'kay?"
Rising upwards to his full height, that of which is six foot and quite a bit of change, Brom lets out a loud snort at the female. "Another Fury. I hope you aren't on the rag as that bitch KL is, I'm sick of her male's are nazi bullshit that she keeps feeding people around here. I'm about to knock her ass into the next fucking time zone. I am Brom Gustaffson, Rips off the Face of the Forath, Forsetti Cliath of the great Get of Fenrir, hailing from the mighty Sept of the White Oak in Ohio, once Alpha for the Duatha Bloth pack, son of Samson Gustaffson, Voice which Cries Havok, Skald and Adren, grandson of Thorn Gustaffson, Claws which deal the final Blow, Athro Modi Hero."
Yi appears minutes after into the conversation, the Gnawer peering in through the sliding door at the occupants in the kitchen before she opens it as well. Her jacket and cap wet from traveling through the light rain, she makes sure to actually shake off some excess before stepping inside. Her dark gaze travels first to the unfamiliar, then to the familiar. It stops at Tecmessa, as the ragabash looks at the Fury in a manner that suggests she remembers her. Vaguely.
Tecmessa shakes her head. "The Goddess, if you will. I was told there was a problem, in visions. I went. There was. So I stayed." She pauses, glances at Brom, and then back at Auggie. "Pardon me, I have to be formal for a moment." She then turns back to Brom, shoulders tense, but not wilting at all at his height or his tone. Hers is even but unbending. "I, personally, am not a bitch. I am, however, a Black Fury in full standing, and if you insult my sisters, you instult /me/. That said, I will introduce myself more fully. As I said, I am Tecmessa Ardenas, Finds The Balance, She Who Judges of the Black Furies, philodox and cliath. I have packed with Megan Ravenfeeder under Raven and with others under Pegasus and Panther, and am currently packed with Reclaiming under Owl, in California. My mother was Philodox of the Black Furies, and my grandmother, Athena's Hand, Ahroun of the Black Furies, helped free Greece during World War II. I won't mention who from, it wouldn't be polite." She waits a beat, and then extends her hand. "Pleased to meet you." Yi, she seems not to notice yet.
"Right.. well, here is me giving a fuck if you feel insulted. She's a bitch, I don't like her, that's all there is to it. If you got a problem with it, you won't be a Fury in standing, you'll be a Fury who'll be knocked on their damn ass." Brom says, turning his attention back to Auggie as he lets out a snort, eyes rolling upwards. He doesn't seem impressed and more than eager to get back to business. "Brownstone is fine, Auggie and I look forward to speaking with you. I have plans on meeting up with Emma tonight to introduce our kin." He says, moving off to the living room.
Auggie frowns at the exchange between Brom and Tecmessa, particularly when Brom insults the Fury's tribesister. "Let's keep it civil now, 'kay? Let's all sniff each other's asses without bitin' 'em, like good dogs." His gaze snaps onto the Fury Philodox. "I'm Auggie Kvintos, Cliath Ahroun of the Children of Gaia, Beta of Birdseye, packed under Magpie, and Arm of the Goddess for my tribe. Also..." Here he raises his voice so that Brom can here as he walks off. "Son of Agnes Mind-Borne-of-Lightning, who died honorably fighting the Wyrm in the Amazon." A pause. "See you later, Brom."
Yi then does indeed recognize Tec more fully, and the Gnawer gives her a low dip of her head as a result. A minor glance is aimed at Basil, the quiet one, before she looks over to where Brom and Auggie are. "I... doubt I am going to be finding who I'm looking for here," she notes aloud, watching Brom turn down the living room. To Auggie, she also adds, "I spoke with Cole recently, about the hospital scouting. If Birdseye needs of my experience, I have told him I am willing to help."
Tecmessa raises an eyebrow. "I do not plan to be be knocked down, but I do believe I will not allow you to badmouth my sister that way." She cracks a knuckly. "So then, in words that you will, perhaps, understand, though I suppose I cannot count on that... yes, I /do/ have a problem with it." She adds, gaze still on the young man, "Though to be absolutely honest, I do not relish violence, especially with someone so clearly taking the fight to the foe. Your deeds do you credit."
Basil finishes up his sandwich, and being of no further use, the boy merely gets up and walks out of the back door to let them talk. A quiet whistles starts up just before he slips out into the rain for a quiet walk alone.
Auggie nods to Yi. "Yeah, that'd be good. We might actually need your help for somethin' else too, if you're willing." He sighs as Tecmessa takes issue with Brom's comments, but says nothing more. After all, who wouldn't?
Turning around, Brom snarls. He opens his mouth to say something, then rolls his eyes. Clicking his teeth together, he squeezes his fists together, knuckles bleeding white for a moment. "Then you can keep on having a problem with it, and I will just keep on not giving a fuck." Soon as Yi speaks, he darts his eyes over to her. "Hey, Three-Blades. I got something you may be interested in. We're going to need a Ragabash and I was told that you were the best." He says, almost painfully. Asking a Gnawer for help!
Yi lifts the baseball cap and bandanna off her head, rubbing down at an itch along the thin scar that encircles her forehead and down the sides of her temples. A bit of a nod is given to Auggie, before she turns to the one addressing her. Her thin brows lift. "Suddenly my name is being whispered to everyone's ears," she notes. "What is it you are needing new moons for?"
Tecmessa takes a breath, and lets it out. And then another one, evenly. She murmurs, "I might well do more than have a problem with it, if I stay longer than I expect to, but as it is, I will not injure one who is clearly doing work that needs to be done." She adds, with a quick, brief grin that's gone as soon as it arrived, "Though a scrap might do both of us some good." That said, she gives Yi a smile, a warm, welcoming one, and goes back to rummaging in the fridge.
Auggie clears his throat before answering Yi. "Tainted animals, possibly more, even leeches, just southwest of here. The Corax told me about it last night. Not a hack 'n slash operation, we'll have to go in all covert-like. There's a lack of cover in the area. We're trying to figure out how we can scout, and make a distraction."
"Oh for the love of Gaia. Look, Fury, I'd put my foot half way up your ass and twist it sideways before you'd even fucking blink. Don't be typical and have all talk and no walk. You want to throw down, lets go to the barn because I'm itching. Otherwise, shut the fuck up because I got a war to plot out." Brom grins cruelly after her. "Unless of course you want to /hear/ about it, because I fully intend to make sure that KL goes along with us. I'm sure the pair of you can talk about girl scouts or something while the real warriors collect the Glory."
Tecmessa puts the milk down with a thunk, and turns to stare at Brom, eyes burning. "Look," she says, shortly, "Are you a /forsetti/, half-moon, or have you forgotten entirely how to use the /brains/ and /Honor/ Gaia /gave/ you? Get of Fenris you may be, but I /do not/ blood my brothers in the fight unless they give me no choice /whatsoever/. You are coming perilously close to making me lose my temper entirely, and /that/ is a difficult feat indeed."
Yi rubs at the back of her stubbled head, attention being diverted to two places at once. She nods again to Auggie, before turning her gaze back to the Get and Fury with a frown. "If you are needing my assistance.. both of you, then for the love of Gaia, stop your fool's baiting and bloody get to your point instead of being so disrespectful towards each other. /Please/." The small ragabash steps forward, pointedly moving between the Fury and the Get with a huff that indicates her patience is thinning.
"Are you not a Garou and forgot your backbone at home in California?" Brom says with a snort. "I come from a Get of Fenrir Sept where all we did was beat the fuck out of each other and that was just for fun. You said you got a problem with the fact I think KL is a pissy bitch. You said outloud that you'd have to 'injure me'. So, lets do it. Step up or shut up. This has nothing to do with honor, this has to do with you being whiny that I don't like your 'sister'. Go ahead, lose your temper, I'm not going to kill you for throwing a punch, I'll just put you down quick, maybe even break a sweat and go on with my life." He says, glaring past the Gnawer as he shifts from foot to foot, continuing to grin.
Auggie lets out a long, low growl that slowly increases in volume as the Get and the Fury banter. Suddenly he slams down his fist on the endtable, and is on his feet in an instant. He storms over to stand in between the two feuding half-moons. "Listen! Brom, you quit goading her! Calling somebody's tribemates 'girl scouts' and 'bitches' is fucking disrespectful, and I don't care what you think of KL or anyone else, you don't fucking talk that way to Gaia's chosen. Which all of us here are, regardless of how you like it." He spins and turns to glare at Tecmessa, just as she leaves. "God dammit! We were fucking busy here, and now it's all fucked up!"
Tecmessa considers him, then jerks her head outside. "Not here," is all she says, and heads out the door toward the barn.
Soon as Tecmessa moves, a broad growl of approval echos in Brom's throat as he starts after her, shifting his shoulders back a bit. He gives Auggie a pat on the shoulder as he goes. "It'll be quick, c'mon, we'll get back to business in a second." He pushes his way out.
Yi sighs heavily, uttering a foreign mutter to herself before she starts after Tecmessa. "Leave it be, Auggie. I hear that the story of Get and Fury's hate for each other goes back a long way." She too, follows after, if but to serve as the clean up crew.
Big Red Barn(#3420RA)
The barn is built in the old style, a vast three level structure that is greater in height than a mere three stories, actually closer to five. Great wooden posts support the weight of the upper levels and roof, sunk into the hard-packed dirt floor of the first level like a sparse forest of regularly spaced, naked trees. The stalls and flagstones which once were here have been torn out to leave a rather open area where even crinos Garou may roam freely without fear of running into anything but the supports or the walls or the ladder at the back which allows access to the other two levels.
The first two levels are relatively open to each other, the second being only little wider than a catwalk going around all the walls but the front one, which has massive, twenty foot tall doors set into it. The third level is a true second floor except for a place cut out that allowed hay to be tossed down to the ground floor when the farm was actually worked. Now, it is a hayloft where Garou can sleep outside of the house.

BarnYard
The Fury brakes abruptly once she's in the Barn, and turns to face Brom. Growing just slightly, to glabro, she says, "Right. No Gifts, no claws, no cheating, no stupid shit. That work?"
Stepping through the doors, striding proudly, Brom tosses his shirt to the side to reveal the scarred shoulders and chest, along with the giant bull tattoo across his upper body. He rolls his shoulders and stands in the homid form, fists rolling up as he bounces on his heels, snarling. "Perfect." He says with an approving nod.
Yi trails in, glancing back behind her before looking through the dim light of the barn towards the pair. "Mind the moon," she intones aloud to the two combatants, "it is yours tonight."
Tecmessa shoots a grin at Yi. "Yes," she says, teeth glinting, "I noticed." That said, she flies at Brom. This is not a measured style, not an assessment of the man's skills; she's merely trying to cause damage. Many of her blows land; it would appear, however, that more of his land than hers. Soon, she's panting lightly, but her grin has not dropped from her face.
The large Hulk of the Homid doesn't crack a hint of emotion as Tecmessa moves in, his body darting in as well, aiming one meaty hook after the other. Where she throws a flurry, he seems to be in synch and timed, looking to land where its going to hurt the most. A crack to his jaw, a slam to her bread box. A puch under his jaw, a round house to her head. The pair remain standing as dust is swirling about their feet in a whirl wind of chaos.
The Fury, in Glabro, weathers this flurry surprisingly well, for someone who clearly is not quite as skilled at this sort of fighting as Brom is. She gives as good as she gets, until Brom, in a flash of quite natural speed, gets in a good right to her face, and it catches her flush in the jaw. She remains upright, but clearly out of it, until Brom follows up with a left hook, and down she goes.
Yi watches from one side of the barn, not leaning against the wood but with her hands idly twirling a knife that she has since withdrawn from its hiding place. The fight proceeds without the Gnawer uttering a single word. Not until the Fury is knocked down does her interest seem to peak.
Soon as that last hit connects, Brom steps back with a growl in his throat, watching her hit the ground. Shifting his feet, he watches her for a moment, breathing heavily, nose and lip bleeding, feeling a throbbing in his mouth. He slowly rolls his wrist and cracks it, then leans over, gripping the Fury by the arm, jerking her back up.
Tecmessa is melting back to homid as she's jerked up. A few moments later, she's scrambling away from him, the grin no longer quite so bloody minded. "Good one," she acknowledges, nodding to him in such a way to just barely expose her throat to him. After a moment of feeling her jaw carefully, she adds, "You want help with this tangle of yours that you're recruiting Yi for, I'd be willing."
Yi stands off to the side of the barn, the soft clicking and clacking of her butterfly knife flipping in and out making up for the ragabash's silence. Once it seems like the fight is well and truly over, she takes a few steps closer to the two.
"Great fucking fight." Brom says with a wild grin on his face, nodding in approval, rumbling in his throat. "Fuck yah I want your help. Got a problem....too much fucking open land, and tainted animals that can blind and paralyze you when they bite." He says, dusting off his pants, then wipes his nose. "Got this house that is fifteen miles from the Bawn and Caern. No cover at all for what may be a couple hundred yards. Cows that can jump in the fucking air and birds that dive down and peck ya. From what I found in the city, whoever owns this house and is tainting animals has been clearing out shelters in the bad part of town. Got information that they /may/ be vampires holding up in there in a blacked out green house." He frowns. "Which is why I needed Three-Blades here."
Isaac pushes through the barn door, turning almost immediately to slide it closed. He only then looks to the interior, gaze drifting over the occupants, lingering for almost a second on one or another before coming back to rest on Tecmessa.
Tecmessa nods. "Marvelous," she says, dryly. "In terms of usefulness for scouting, I can't disappear or suchlike, but I can Bind, in case you'd like specific talens, and I can certainly sense both the true form of things, and use my own senses quite acutely." She adds, "I'll probably not be here more than a few days, but if I can be of use in that time, I shall be around and about." She glances at Isaac, briefly, and then re-focuses on him. "Hullo." Her tone is mild, welcoming.
Yi stiffens, the blade in her hand closing with a loud clack. "Vampires," she repeats, voice turned rancid with hate at the very term. Pushing the tense memory aside, she looks back as Isaac opens the door, and smoothes her composure over. "Has anyone thought to perhaps dig under it?"
Blinking slowly at the Gnawer, Brom lifts up a brow. "... Dig under it? How the fuck are we.. " He shakes his head, then bites on his bottom lip, taking in a deep, calming breath. "No.. that won't work." He finally gets out after counting to ten, backwards - twice. "We don't have the time to dig a few miles under the ground, when its easier than that. You can create Talens though?" He thinks. "We have a lot of open land with no cover.. anything you can come up with?"
"Maybe. But first, a stupid question. Have you checked the Umbra?" Tec shrugs. "Don't mean to be insulting, but sometimes people don't."
Isaac stares openly at Tecmessa for a few seconds, brow furrowing, but when the Get of Fenris speaks, he turns to stare at Brom instead.
Brom shakes his head. "No, haven't checked the Umbra yet. We just now got news of this a few hours ago." He says, motioning to the quiet Auggie. "I sent a Corax out to collect the information and she came back badly beat up. Looks like she barely survived a war."
Yi tilts her head. "Just offering a thought. Talens are not my specialty, but maybe my packmate, Dakota, and Tobin will be able to help there." The ragabash taps her finger to her chin. Then, more pointedly she asks, "How about far-range attack?"
Tecmessa nods, once. "Check the Umbra, then if that's just as bad if not worse, I'll toss out a few ideas. If it's more covered and less difficult, then, well, I'll still contribute a few talens, but more offensive minded ones. Fire, ice, pain arrows, that sort of thing." She nods at Yi, adding, "Arrows, I can and will do. Both talen and otherwise."
Isaac raises his hand, bottom lip sucked in between his teeth.
Brom rumbles quietly in thought as he paces back and forth a bit, glancing over to Isaac for a few moments, before turning to the speakers again. "Arrows would be good.. though I am no good with such weapons. I am an up close and personal kind of guy. I mentioned sniper rifles for anyone Urrah enough who may be able to take out the fucking anti gravity cows. Its the birds I'm worrying about. A single peck may kill a Garou if that poison gets in and paralyzes or blinds someone." He says, then lifts a brow at Isaac. "... Got something to say?" He asks, trying his best to reign in his typical temper and arrogance.
Yi breathes in deeply, eyes closing in thought. "If no one objects, guns and body armor would certainly help. And it would, even, be useful in the future to have them in stock anyway. The Glass Walkers used those before... back when we took back the Hidden Walk." The Gnawer looks over to Isaac as well.
Isaac nods, a slow deliberate gesture. "I can help fight bad things. I can smell bad things."
Tecmessa says, "Good. That is a skill much needed." To Brom, she adds, "I could serve as a deterrent to flying things that would impinge on the scouts, should it prove necessary to move on the Realm or Umbra unprotected."
Brom stares at Isaac for a moment, before slowly turning his head to regard Tecmessa again, a blank expression upon his face. He looks.. lost, for a moment. ".. OK. That would be really good. Auggie mentioned having two packs go in.. one pack for distracting, the other for the assault. Could have a third as well, one for clean up and deterrent."
Yi smiles in Isaac's direction, before translating it back towards a seriousness. "Healers would be nice. A third pack can be acting as back up, to cover retreat if necessary. And, talens to resist the poison you mention. Though... I would be more concerned about what is inside the house that is tainting animals. I have not heard of leeches doing that."
Isaac grins at Tecmessa, raising a hand to scratch at his scruffy cheek. He turns to Brom with the same grin. "I can help you?"
Tecmessa nods at Yi. "Poison. I'll think on that one. Also, contact some Fianna; they have a Gift that blunts the effects of some toxins."
Brom nods his head to Tecmessa, making notes in his head. "Which means Cole.. because I had the pleasure of fighting along side him once and that gift proved to be useful." He says, then nods to Yi, then glances back at Isaac. He fidgets for a moment, before clearing his throat. "Sure, you can help out. Who are you anyways?" He takes in a slow, controlled deep breath, giving a quick, awkward grin at him.
Yi puts her knife away and goes about retying the bandanna on her head, thinking still. "If there is no cover within a good distance... we could make cover," she adds. "Smoke. Fog. Our caern totem here once was such, after all."
Isaac stands up a bit straighter. He tugs the cowboy hat more firmly onto his large head and then shifts his feet around until he stands tall, directly in front of Brom. "I'm Isaac. I'm a Philodox of the Silver Fangs. I've been here for a long time." He grins over at Yi before turning back to Brom. "Fog was our Totem. And Buffalo, and Magpie, and Cougar. But the Mirror Lady is the one who called me Innocence. Sepdet called me Open Heart. And other people called me other things. But most people just call me Isaac."
Tecmessa falls silent, inclining her head to Isaac and fading backwards slightly.
Rubbing the bridge of his nose, Brom shifts somewhat uncomfortable as Isaac speaks. ".. Silver Fang eh'? Fuck, sounds like you have been around a damn long time. Well.. er.. Brom, Get of Fenris Half Moon, they call me the Face Ripper." He waves a hand in the air, then lets out a quick breath. "So.. maybe you can be on the healing team or something, ya'know.. be an extra set of eyes and ears." He glances to Tecmessa, lifting up a brow. ".. unless he can fight...?"
Yi lets out a short chuckle. "Isaac has been here far longer than I have. And I have no doubt he can fight with the best of them." The ragabash pauses, and ventures, "Maybe he can even beat you, Brom."
Tecmessa quirks an eyebrow. "He can fight. I do not know how well he fights these days, however." She chuckles quietly at Yi. "Since when have you become a troublemaker?"
Isaac holds out an arm, pointing to his muscles. "I'm strong. I can fight good." And, he certainly looks as though he's physically capable of what the other's suggest.
Yi looks back to Tec, an all-too innocent smile playing over her features. "Ask the moon, for it was She who decided what I would be since birth." She gives Isaac a very approving nod.
The Bone Gnawer gets a withering look as Brom finally snaps. "Good Gaia, the kid is fucking slower than a turtle. I'm not going to beat the fuck out of him! Dammit.. don't.. say shit like that. OK, so he got muscle, maybe he can really fight good, but I'm not laying a fucking hand on him." He says with a scowl, pacing away from them, letting out a snarling huff. "That's just.. that's fucked up is what it is. I may be a god damn asshole but I got my limits on who I'm going to fucking torment. I don't abuse slow people."
Isaac's expression turns dark, lips turning downward in a frown that verges on a pout, and he mumbles something under his breath. One hand digs into his pocket and pulls out a small, smooth pebble which he brings to his lips and holds there.
Tecmessa murmurs, "He observes well, I would add. You have to draw the information from him carefully, but he pays attention to his surroundings."
Yi slips her cap back on, nonplussed with the look she earns. The ragabash must be used to such stares. "I see," she replies, still with a smart upward curl of one side of her lip. "I will change my opinion of you promptly then, Brom. As it seemed to me, that you liked to fight so much and went out of your way to push people towards their tempers." The CantoGnawer shrugs. "Isaac is indeed, a lot smarter than he looks. Just because he doesn't say a lot, doesn't mean he doesn't /know/."
"I'm just fucking saying, Yi." Brom says with a loud huff, slamming his fist into the hanging punching bag in the barn. "Look, back in my old high school, there was this retarded kid. He was really nice, right? Nothing wrong with him, just .. he was slow, and stammered a lot and drooled. I saw lots of kids beat on him and make fun of him and throw things at him. That just.." He grits his teeth. "It fucking pissed me off, because its not fair to beat on someone with a disability like that, ya'know? They'd put signs on his back and spit in his hair. I'm sure he was plenty smart inside, its just the way he projected himself was got him teased. I hate fuckers like that, people who fucking.. just.. ya'know, its one thing to try and toughen someone up and piss 'em off an get 'em to stand up for themselves, but its another to fuck with someone who can't." He points at Isaac. "I'm not saying you can't, I'm just saying I'm not going to throw down with you. If you can fight, fine, you're on my assault team."
Cole steps into the barn, probably quiet enough to be overlooked in the midst of the conversation. A forbidding expression in on his face, and in his eyes. There's at least a fine red stubble on his otherwise bald head.
Tecmessa quirks a very small smile.
Isaac lets the pebble slip into his mouth, rolling it around with his tongue and lips while his hand drops back to his side. "I can fight," he says around the pebble.
Yi looks over to the barn door as it opens again, before turning back to Brom. "There. That wasn't so hard now," she utters, head tilting. "It is good to know you aren't completely heartless, big Get guy." She rubs a finger beneath her nose, and smiles. "Good evening, Cole."
Tecmessa shakes her head slightly, and murmurs, "Your pardon. I must hunt down an old friend. I will see you later, I hope." She's soon out the door.
"Alright, then fight you will, don't make me hate my decision. I'm an asshole as a war leader though." Brom says to Isaac, giving the Gnawer a quick snarl under his breath, his chest rising and falling, as if maybe /she'll/ be the next target for his fist. Soon as Cole enters, he glances over to him. "Hey." He says with a rumble.
Cole nods toward Yi, forcing a hint of a smile. "Yi," he murmurs by way of greeting. When Brom greets him, he nods once more. "Evening, Brom," he responds. He makes a beeline towards the punching bag. "I'm not interrupting some party, am I?"
Yi waves a hand as Tecmessa departs, sending a "Good night Tecmessa - I hope to see you again as well" after her. Once more the snarl from the Get runs off like water. "So, aside from /my/ help as a ragabash for this tainted house of evil, have you other ragabash in mind? And who have you gathered for the attack plans?"
Isaac turns around when Cole speaks moving back so that he can see everyone at once. The pebble is pushed between his front teeth. "Hi," he says around it.
Nodding his head to the Fury, Brom levels his gaze at Cole. "Hey, come over here.. was wanting to talk to you anyways. I'm dragging you into a glory quest. That Corax I sent out on a mission found the taint coming from the woods where the animals are getting fucked up at. Auggie tossed me the information an even got a map. We could use you."
Cole raises a brow, moving over as his interest is piqued. "Auggie, huh," he asks. "Not that you asked," he mumbles with a wry tone, "but count me in. I'm up for kicking some Wyrmish ass, whenever, wherever."
Yi adjusts the cap on her head, the brim shading her eyes. "I'll have to speak with Val about what she saw. But there's also Joey, Tu... my packmate Eamon, he is fostern newmoon."
Brom snorts. "I'm not going to get that fucking coward, Joey involved. She pissed on the god damn tile of the kitchen because I told her to fucking eat at the table and not on the floor. If she Fox Frenzies over fucking pickles, I can't imagine her fighting the Wyrm. Talk to Eamon if he is a Fostern. I would like you both to scout out this house first, see how far you can get. Don't do anything stupid and hop in the Umbra if you have to. I don't want a single Garou dying."
Brom answers Cole. "Found the Wyrm taint coming onto the Bawn. Big fucking house in the middle of no where south west of the bawn and farmhouse. No cover at all. Its just hanging out. It has leaping venomous cows and birds. Probably more animals as well."
Cole raises a brow. "Venomous cows that jump?" He snorts. "Fine, whatever it is. We'll finish it off, burn it to the ground if it comes to that. When do we get started?" My, isn't someone eager?
Yi's lightheartedness fades, the Gnawer narrowing her eyes. "Joey's not a fighter," she replies evenly, "but she is not a coward either. She is Garou just as you and I, but you wouldn't notice that, living on your mountain as you do."
Isaac sucks the pebble back into his mouth, half chokes on it as it goes partway down his throat, coughs it back into his mouth and then spits it into his hand. He watches the back and forth between Brom and Cole and then interjects, "I'm going to help."
Cole blinks as Isaac's reaction to the pebble, looking vaguely confused for a moment. "All the help we can get is welcomed. It'll be great to work beside you, I'm sure." He even manages a smile.
There is a snort in Yi's direction as Brom focuses back on Cole. "First thing we need a plan. I'm going to speak to Jacinta later as well and see if I can get her help since I'm sure she has some fancy tricks to use. Tecmessa, a Fury is creating Talens for us. Right now the problem is.. getting from the woods, to the house." He points at the map. "There is a green house also, which is blacked out so that you can't see into it. We don't know what is in there and we are sure that is where they are doing the stuff, you don't take cows into the fucking living room to experiment on."
Cole nods in reponse to Brom. "Alright. I think I can deal with that. Hell, if anyone has a truck, I'd be just as happy plowing the fucker into the place, smashing it down." There's a thin smile, half-joking.
Yi grows quiet, working over the brief hill of her temper as she listens. The stubborn scout makes sure to be listening, though her comment for now is kept to herself.
Brom blinks his eyes a bit and -grins- at Cole. ".. Heh... we could do that, but that'd probably end us in more trouble. We're going to have a few packs set up.. Healing, Distractions and assault. Let me guess, you want to be on the healing pack, right?"
Cole's smile is feral, an unusual sight on the young Galliard. "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that and pretend I heard 'assault', alright? If so, the answer's 'yes'." He crosses his arms, leaning lightly back against the bag.
Isaac turns the pebble over and over in his hand, eventually shoving it back into his pocket. "Because we're supposed to fight the bad things, right?"
Grinning back at Cole, Brom gives him a punch in the shoulder. "I like you, even if you are a Fianna. I'd pack with ya any day." He glances back at the map, then huffs. "I just don't like the fact we don't have any fucking cover."
Yi picks herself up, and heads for the barn door in relative quiet. "I'll be back to tell you what is out there," she states as she opens the doors and heads out. "Good night to all of you."
