Big Red Barn(#3420RA)
The barn is built in the old style, a vast three level structure that is greater in height than a mere three stories, actually closer to five. Great wooden posts support the weight of the upper levels and roof, sunk into the hard-packed dirt floor of the first level like a sparse forest of regularly spaced, naked trees. The stalls and flagstones which once were here have been torn out to leave a rather open area where even crinos Garou may roam freely without fear of running into anything but the supports or the walls or the ladder at the back which allows access to the other two levels.
The first two levels are relatively open to each other, the second being only little wider than a catwalk going around all the walls but the front one, which has massive, twenty foot tall doors set into it. The third level is a true second floor except for a place cut out that allowed hay to be tossed down to the ground floor when the farm was actually worked. Now, it is a hayloft where Garou can sleep outside of the house.

Maybe the rather obvious trail of blood leading to the barn is what lures people here, but who knows. The blood is fresh, and it's an easily followed trail right up to a bale of hay that Justin is laying on. The boy looks almost mauled. A bear, or well... a crinos has clawed him across the chest nastily. His shirt is torn, shredded really and he's bleeding badly. He's trying to stop it but not having much look and is looking rather pale at the moment, as well as weak.

Yi pushes the barn door open with alarming strength for one so seemingly small. Indeed, the blood trail leading from farmhouse to barn has the fostern ragabash on high alert. Upon spotting Justin, the Gnawer goes to him. She doesn't even bother closing the door. And when she examines the wounds, it is with a scrutinizing eye.
The din from the farmhouse reaches even the woods, although filtered out somewhat by leaf-heavy trees, and Reggie alters his plans, substituting an immediate trip to the farmhouse. His heavy boots stomp into the barnyard and pauses at the trail of blood, as Reggie measures its direction, and follows it along into the barn, his nostrils flaring at the mix of the heavy, metallic scent of blood, lemons, and hay. He enters the open door and surveys the area, squinting up at the second story for anyone hiding there.

[look Justin]
Justin is a weed of a kid, thin and gangly, looking a bit tall for his age. He looks to be in his mid teens, although its hard to pin an exact age on it. His features look almost fragile, with high cheek bones and pale gray blue eyes. His complexion is pale, as if from northern European stock with very white skin that betrays his lack of outdoor activity and platinum blond hair. The features combine to actually be rather attractive, in a sort of sheltered noble way. There's an odd unsettling hint of something that /should/ seem majestic there, that if nurtured could make him very attractive, but as it is he comes off above average, but 'off' in some way.
Today Justin is wearing a perfectly pressed pair of khaki pants, black leather belt, black dress shoes and a short sleeve button up dress shirt. His outfit is spotless and wrinkle free. Theres a small pack of handy wipes tucked in the back pocket of his pants. He carries a small bag slung over one shoulder that while not quite a purse looks a bit odd for the boy to be carrying.

[look Reggie]
Three hundred pounds of muscle, fat, and gristle pour unevenly down a frame over six feet, puddling in an overflowing belly barely restrained by jeans desperately calling upon extra-strong reinforced seams and solid brass hardware. Army-short hair outlines the dome of the skull, newly decorated by a circular slice cutting bone-deep evenly around its circumference. A monobrow shelters sunken, piggish eyes. An unevenly flattened nose and cauliflowered ears have evidently received many a fist in the past. A patchwork of grey wolf fur hangs over his shoulders, arms, and chest, covering distorted, hairfree skin. The hands demonstrate a history rich in manual labor, with stumpy, thick fingers and fingernails broken to the quick. His right arm is a massive length of scar tissue from shoulder to hand, with the muscling of a paraplegic. A black feather is braided into the grey fur on his right shoulder. There's a faint scent of gasoline, nicotine, and alcohol.

Justin gives a groan, looking up at Yi. "Who?" He says roughly. Looks like the wound is nasty. Not probably immediately life threatening, but the kid is probably going into shock and blood loss. The wounds need to be bandaged at the very least. "Bug... farmhouse..." He says raggedly, "Frenzy..." His breathing is a little rough.

Yi reaches down to pull some of the boy's torn clothing away from the wounds, trying to gauge the full extent through all the blood. "My name is Yi," she explains quickly, "and you need to shift. Your wounds should heal." The mention of frenzying and the farmhouse causes the Gnawer to look up and towards the door, finding Reggie in her vision's path. "Reggie," the ragabash acknowledges, "Did you see Bug on your way here?"

With hasty steps, Reggie steps over from the door to lean over Yi as the Gnawer tends to the mauled cub. "Hey! The new Fang cub", he declares. "Bug--no--must be at the house." He straightnes up and turns about to retrace his route to the door. "I'll go deal with the fucking Bug!" He crouches in a sprinter's position, but his speed, as he marches towards the house, is more than of a tank rolling over the ground. Slow, but nearly unstoppable.

Justin has trouble shifting on command in the best of situations, and being as wounded as he is it's definately not an easy thing. He closes his eyes, bright red blood still oozing from his chest in four wide strips. He tries to focus, but the pain leaves him too distracted and after a moment he opens his eyes, "C... can't shift." He says with some struggle, "D.. .don't hurt her!" He says to no one in general, and who knows if Reggie hears but Justin does waste the breath and effort to say it. Then leans back, trying to recover the energy he just expended.

Yi shakes her head at the sight, finally abandoning the distance and tearing the Fang cub's shirt to keep the fabric from sticking to the wounds. "Just see if she is okay, please," she calls back to Reggie before he disappears. To Justin, she moves a hand to try and get him to look at her. "Look at me. You can shift. You must concentrate."

Justin takes a few deep breaths, well... sort of forced breaths that are ragged. He tries to focus. With the removal of the remains of his shirt the blood flows freely again, down his side and soaking into the bale of hay he's laying on. He tries to focus and slowly, with great effort shifts, bit by bit into crinos. It's not a clean shift and it's about as slow as you've probably seen but he manages it, finally. Of course this doesn't really stop the bleeding that much and the wounds won't close up on their own being that of nasty claws of another werewolf.

Yi takes a few steps back as the cub shifts into the warform. Once everything has filled out as it should, she clears her throat and has a look at the wounds again. "You are pretty lucky. It looks like you will not have too deep of a scar." Relaxing now that the danger of death seems pushed back, Yi goes to pick up the various bits of clothing upon the barn floor. She only gathers up a couple pieces of rags. "Again... I am Yi. And you are...?"

Justin makes a few grunts, apparently not having mastered crinos speech in any real way. So it's pretty much not intelligable. He still is pretty wounded. He struggles to look at you and himself, and his wound. He makes a sound that sounds more like a question than as he puts a paw tenderly against his still wet wounds and winces, pulling his now bloody paw back from his chest.

[look Justin (crinos)]
A huge furry beast, standing close to seven and a half feet tall. The fur is short and silver, and despite the horror of the form there's something noble about the beast. It's pale blue eyes seem odd in contrast to the harshness of it's form.

"Do not worry. They will heal," Yi affirms, "in time. Do you know the Glabro form? It is the shape in between your human form, and this one, the crinos." As if to demonstrate, Yi also slowly grows in shape. Only when her features start to get feral, does the Gnawer's form halt in any more changing. "Concentrate," she repeats, her voice having deepened considerably with the shift. "You can change into it as well."

Justin frowns, well as much as a crinos can frown. He's clearly still in pain. After a moment he tries to shift. The unskilled cub, having never taken the inbetween form before, messes up and over shoots it. In short order he's in homid. Still bleeding and now rather nude. The kid seems embarassed but that pales in comparison to the fact that his wounds are still there and bleeding. His thin body over the bale of hay is rather pale. He gasps, "Aw... crap..." He says as he winces.

Yi remains in the Glabro form as a representation of the possibility. "Try again," she advises. "You must shift to a form not of your birth to heal. Trust yourself." She takes a few steps closer, showing no obvious indication that she even sees his nakedness as embarrassing. "Try again. Feel inside, there is a point you reach, before your mind and heart changes from man to wolf." She nods, waiting.

This would be hard for the boy even if he had done it before. Trying to do it now for the first time, while wounded and under stress is definately not easy. Justin struggles with it and just when you think it might be hopeless he starts to shift. Still, he's lost a lot of blood as he takes Glabro. He's still pale, and naked on the bale of hay. He reaches the form proper then goes a bit limp from the exhertion, breathing heavily, but still conscious.

Yi steps in, and finally brings one of the rags of clothing to the boy's chest. A firm, but not heavy hand presses the wounds, staunching off the slowed flow. For a moment, the ragabash doesn't say anything. She simply tends to his injuries. A stray strip from a pant leg is torn further, tied together and wrapped about him as an attempt to hold the cloth in place.

Justin lays there for a while, just trying to not do something stupid, focusing on breathing. It's amazing how little you worry about being exposed while critically injured. The bandages, or well, torn clothing does a fairly good job of soaking up blood and stopping the worst of the bleeding but it's going to hurt like hell if it staunches like that when the crude bandages are removed. Still, it serves the purpose of stablizing the kid.

Yi finishes up her ministrations, using her teeth to pull up her own sleeves and keep them out of the way as she works. It's amateur treatment at best. Still, when she sees the kid looking slightly better, she shifts back to birthform, sits down on a corner of the haybale and lets him rest. A stray eye trails the blood towards the barn door and out of it, lost behind the doorframe. Silence follows. Then the softest sound of humming comes out of the ragabash.

Justin lays there for a little while then manages to say, "Who... who are you?" Apparently he missed the earlier introduction and he does seem a bit out of it. He's shivering too, probably a bit of shock at the moment from damage and blood loss really.

"Hmmm-mm-mm-...hm?" Yi trails off in her humming, looking back to the shivering Silver Fang. "My name is Yi," she repeats again patiently, slowly. "I am Garou too. Only, I am a Bone Gnawer, not a Silver Fang." Leaning a little on the haybale, she peers at the pale cub's face. "And you?"

Justin looks up at you and stammers, "J... Justin." He's shivering a little bit, getting the shakes it seems, "I'm... a Silver Fang." As you just said, and he now confirms as if you needed that, "Cub... h.. half moon." He gets the whole introduction out looking kind of pleased with himself. Then says, "It's cold..."

Aaron comes out to the barn with medic-supplies as ordered by Reggie.

Yi agrees with a nod. "You lost a lot of blood," she points out as well, "but as long as you stay in the near-man, you will heal in a few days." She keeps an eye on the makeshift bandages. As Aaron comes into the barn, Yi looks up and waves the other cub over. "As expected," she murmurs. "Good evening Aaron."

Justin is in glabro laying on a bale of hay, naked. Bandages are wrapped around his torso, or rather the remains of his outfit as crude bandages. The bale of hay has quite a bit of blood soaked into it. Justin himself looks pale and is shivering a bit. The torn clothing bandages are red from blood but the worst of it seems to have stopped for the most part. He looks up as someone else enters but then lets his head sink back onto the hay. He's trying to breath slowly but clearly is in a fair ammount of pain.

Aaron walks over to Yi, presenting her with the gift of bountiful bandages. "Will someone fucking tell me what in the hell just happened and why the kitchen looks like a war went on?" curses the teenager, even more affective with his southern drawl.

"What happens on a full moon when emotions run high and control is low," Yi replies, taking hte bandages with another nod. "I think Bug frenzied on Justin here." She turns back to the Fang. "This might hurt a little." And with that disclaimer, the ragabash begins to remove the sticky makeshift bandages to replace them with clean actual ones.

Oh yes, removing the now sticky wet rags from Justin's chest hurts, and restarts the bleeding as well. He winces, but keeps his cool as if he had a choice as Yi starts to replace the rags with clean ones. He cringes, his hands clenching at his side, "She... she tried to kill me..." Justin says softly, "Frenzy..." He shakes his head. "Destroyed the clean kitchen too..." He gives a little gasp as the new bandages are placed firmly against his wounds.

"Don't worry about the kitchen," Aaron replies. "I'm sure it has been torn up before and there is some fund somewhere for such things." At least the young Ahroun hopes so or else they'll be feasting out of dry-storage. "That's alright, buddy, you're still breathing-- that's good."

Yi tries to make the process of bandage changing as painless as possible, but there is some inevitable stinging. "I would ask why she frenzied on you, but there usually is little reason." She looks up to Aaron for a moment. "How bad is the kitchen?"

Justin gives another little gasp then says, "I dropped the refridgerator on her." He says softly, "I think she was attacking it when I got out of there..." He leans back looking up at the ceiling of the barn as he lets Yi do her work. He does ask, "Is... is there a blanket? I'm really cold." His body is shivering as if to back up that fact. It's probably a mix of shock and being naked.

"It doesn't look very good, Yi." he replies to his elder. Aaron grips his opposit elbow with his hand, looking down at Justin. "Yeah," says the Ahroun and he walks to the ladder, going up to the loft and pulling down an extra blanket or two. He places it over Justin while not specifically looking directly at him.

Yi thanks the Gnawer cub for the blanket. "You.. dropped the refridgerator on her?" The repetition seems to form a visible mental image by the expression of the fostern's face. "That is not going to be very good," she notes softly, finishing up the bandaging. "Anything else that is broken?"

Justin nods once, "Yeah... after she did this... I was trying to slow her down..." He protests softly. Then looks down at his bandages, looking some what relieved that Yi seems to be done. "She broke the table too..." He adds then looks some happy to get the blanket as well, draped over his form. He looks like he's not going any where soon unless someone carries him. He closes his eyes, "Is she okay?"

Aaron nods. "I think so," he replies. "Once Reggie gets her settled down, at least."

Yi looks over towards Aaron. "Was she still in frenzy when you saw her?" Her eyes glance off, back towards the door.

Justin rests, not really up to struggling much at the moment. He listens, just trying to recover some energy. He's closes his eyes, his breathing steady now, as he looks more comfortable under the blanket.

Aaron shrugs his shoulders. "She was growling at Reggie and then I went up stairs, when I came back Reggie had her at a half-conscious state." Aaron rubs at his arm, looking to Yi with his eyebrow raised.

Yi nods, looking over the Fang cub. "Well, things seem to have calmed down for this one at least," she notes as she stands. "Why don't you go see if Reggie has her under control. I am sure he does, but it would be good to find out what happened in all this. I will do a little bit of clean up here and in the barnyard."

Justin tries to sit up a bit, "Should... I try to get to the infirmary?" He offers, rather out of it from the looks of things.

Aaron nods to Yi, although remains for a moment as Justin speaks. The cub looks to his elder, but remains quiet.

"If you can," Yi replies to Justin. "I suppose it will be more comfortable for you there, but make sure to shift back before you leave here. Even out here, we cannot risk breaking the Veil." A pause. "Even if we come very close to it." She starts to head to the barn door, looking to Aaron a moment as she passes him. "I will be back soon. But I leave things here in your care, hm?"

Reggie pops his head in the barn door, calling out, "Hey! He alive?", to whoever might answer.

Aaron nods his head. "Alright," The Ahroun answers his elder. Then, Aaron points at Justin.

Justin is laying on the hay, in glabro, under a blanket and thick bandages across his chest. There's blood leading from the door of the barn to the bale of hay and some soaked into the hay. Justin looks pale but alive it seems. He looks up as Reggie calls out. Even with the blanket Justin is shivering a bit. He's no ghost, despite his pale appearance. Lost a lot of blood from the looks of it though. He nods to Yi's warning though, then watches her leave as Reggie enters. The boy tries to prop himself up to a sitting position bit it clearly pains him.

"Yes," Yi replies to Reggie, getting to the door. "The Fangs do not have to worry. Their cub is fine."

Reggie dips his head in relief, and pulls his head out of the door to letYi have her way through the door.
