St Claire and Kent Crossing bus Tue Jun 6, 2006 Grebbsy
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As of today, those who frequent places where bus routes run can scarcely avoid noticing that the buses have had a makeover. They now bear a new name (County Stagecoach), a new color scheme (natty yellow with red checks), and a corporate logo which is readily recognisable to any Garou as a Black Spiral Dancer glyph.

Currently the moon is in the waning Full Moon phase (83% full).
It is currently 18:00 Pacific Time on Tue Jun 13 2006.
Currently in Saint Claire, it is a cloudy day. The temperature is 66 degrees Fahrenheit (18 degrees Celsius). The wind is currently coming in from variable directions at 5 mph. The barometric pressure reading is 30.00 and rising, and the relative humidity is 60 percent. The dewpoint is 52 degrees Fahrenheit (11 degrees Celsius.)
Apt. 15(#2604RAJLh)
The apartment is muted in color, sporting cool blue Christmas lights that blink against the walls occassionally. Most of the mess that was within these walls is cleared to an extent of fair cleanliness. Furniture, it seems, is decidedly lacking save for lumpy beanbags and a puke-colored green Lay-Z-Boy gotten from the Goodwill store. There is a table, but it is a compilation of boxes, a couple of empty metal kegs and a sturdy plank of wood. The entire collection sprawls in a half-circle facing the small color TV and built in VCR, which perches against the wall atop a large metal keg. Its antenna sport aluminum wrapping, curled in some places for better reception. Below that, a Sega Dreamcast and its controllers sit neatly in a small box with games partitioned within it. The other side of the apartment contains boxes, some empty and some not. Set atop them is an old radio. Somehow, the emptiness of the apartment is still set off by little decorations and Stuff set strategically around and on the fuzzy brown carpet that sports a few cuts and scars. Amidst it all, a stamped-on smileyface rug greets the occupants and offers them to Have a Nice Day. (+view for rooms)

A long day of busking in silence, and Yi has returned to her apartment to rest before going out again. It's clear to see what she's been keeping up on, with the floor virtually littered with pamphlets of a certain new bus route. Flopped atop a beanbag in the corner, she has one of the brochures open and studies the routes pensively.
Suddenly, there is a loud pounding on the door to Yi's apartment. It sounds very masculine and authoritive. The young Ahroun stands outside the door with a scowl on his face.
The knocking-- the pounding, rather-- startles the fostern out of her focused reverie. Yi's immediately on the defensive first, tense underneath the weight of the full moon. She slowly shifts herself as quietly as possible out of her beanbag chair, and reaches for a Saturday night special stowed away. Hammer cocked back, the ragabash goes to the peephole and peers through. Only when she sees Aaron, does she release the hammer back to its original position, and after a series of unlockings, she stuffs the gun in her sweatpants pocket and opens the door. A tilt of her head ushers the fullmoon inside, and a hand invites him for a seat on the Lay-Z-Boy.
Aaron does not exactly take a seat right away. Instead he hands over the Country Stagecoach uniform jacket to Yi with a raise of his eyebrow. His other hand rubs over his bare scalp.
Yi peers at the jacket with a couple of blinks, reaching out to take it by a couple of fingers. She holds them at distance, at first, and then looks at Aaron questioningly, brow arching.
[look Aaron (homid)]
Boyish innocence has been stripped away into a roguish, handsome figure of this young man. Life on the streets has aged this teenager much faster than others his age. Almond-shaped dark eyes stare intensely with inner-sovereignty between a masculine nose. Raven hair has been buzz-cut close to his scalp and from his chin is a clean-shaven goatee. His fair skin shows the physical pains he has had to endure. He has a variety of small scars from childhood scrimmages, but the worst of scars is the one that begins just at the bottom of his ear and runs down to his shoulder. The young man's body mass is mostly taken up by emerging muscles throughout his form, replacing the gangly form of youth. The lingering smell of the spicy smell of cheap aftershave rises off from his masculine figure. He is often found wearing a pair of durable blue-jeans and a tee-shirt that fits snuggly over his chest to show the forming abdominals and pectorals of his muscular body. On cooler days he wears a hooded sweatshirt. Also he has on a pair of worn tennis shoes that almost seem too big for his feet.

'I went looking around the bus station last night,' Aaron signs to Yi. He steps further into the apartment and looks a little guilty for doing something so dangerously on his own.
Yi nods slowly, lifting the jacket to examine it more closely. She opens her mouth to reply, but pauses and shuts it with a slightly embarrassed look of her own. 'And?' she signs back instead.
'The bus company runs all the bus lines in the area. They normally run from early morning to late evening. There are a couple routes in the city that are all night. Some of the buses park up for the night in the depot itself, either in the vays, or in the garage out back. The depot is on the corner of an intersection, midtown. The company logo is plastered all over the buses, buildings, pillars, and even out on the road. There is an office where I saw a security guard watching some CCTV monitors but didn't see what else was in the building. I was able to go into one bus, it smelled, but I didn't have Sense the Wyrm. I didn't find anything else, nothing that looked particularly irregular. There has to be something underneath the surface.' By the time he is finished signing, he shakes out his hands and waits for Yi's response.
'Good,' Yi replies with at first, eyes having to focus on the movement of the sign language. It's a challenge for sure, as any language might be. 'Have you told anyone else yet? Find anything bad?' The ragabash lays the jacket on the table, staring for a long moment at the glyph turned logo. By the tense way she exhales, she's none too pleased about seeing it around at all.
Aaron shakes his head. His eyes glance over to the table and appears tense as he looks at it. 'I thought someone could use it,' he replies in a gesture to the jacket. 'I couldn't sense anything, but I don't have the gifts for that.'
Yi gives the ahroun a small smile then - one that is of full typical ragabash maliciousness. 'I'm sure someone will be able to,' she signs with a nod, taking a moment to check its front. 'Was there a nametag?'
Aaron ponders for a long moment. 'Not that I could see,' he signs back to Yi. 'But if you want to get into the office, you will need a key.'
Yi's grin gets a bit wider, evin. 'Keys? I am a no-moon and a thief. I need no keys.' She pauses in thought, adding quickly after, 'But keys would help.' She considers the jacket again, and then stands up to put it on and test its fit.
Aaron shrugs his shoulders and goes back to rubbing his shaved head again in silence.
Yi eventually shrugs out of the jacket, replacing it on the table. 'When did you ride the bus?' she inquires afterwards, sitting back down and peering with much interest at the ahroun. 'What did you see?'
'I didn't ride the bus,' Aaron explains. 'I was looking around the station late last night when most of the buses were out-of-service. There was an all-night bus that was left unopened for a few minutes, so I looked inside.'
Wrinkling her brow, Yi considers the given info. 'Did you see security, besides the one guard? How did you get in?' It's quite obvious where she's getting at, as far as paying another visit to the place.
Aaron answers, 'Besides the buildings, the grounds are open with exception of the surveillance cameras. There is the office and then the garage that might be difficult to get into.'
Yi chews on her lip, thinking over various things. When her eyes travel back to the ahroun, she nods again with a sharp sense of approval. 'Good,' she signs back. 'Make sure to tell Kaz, and Masao. There must be something deeper than just this bus system.' Another pause, and she adds, 'The Glass Walkers should know about this too.'
Aaron nods. 'I will tell them,' he replies. 'I will go back to the Odeon to see if they are there.'
Yi stands up as if to see the ahroun out, but her question after seems to still invite him further. 'Would you like something to drink or eat before you go?'
Aaron appears to ponder the offer but then she shakes his head. 'That is alright, I will find something to eat later.' he signs urgently.
Though her expression changes to a bit of curiosity at his urgent signing, Yi once more nods her understanding and offers with a gesture to see him out. 'You can leave the jacket here,' she notes. 'I will be at the Odeon and patrolling later tonight.'
'Okay,' the Ahroun signs as he heads towards the door.

It's on the large size of medium (if you're thinking of putting a garou inside it to sneak into the bus company offices, it'd be too small for Reggie and too big for Basil, but about right for Aaron, say.) It's almost brand new. No name /on/ the jacket, but inside the pocket there's a brown envelope containing a pay-slip made out to Oscar Milch, at a midtown address on 10th and Elson.
