Safehouse: Common Area(#2947RAJ)
The foyer of this house is set off from the living room with its octagonal bump-out by a four foot high halfwall. Stairs lead up from the foyer, turning and disappearing to the right, and a wooden door with a keycard lock claims the wall opposite the living room. The rest of the main floor is taken up by a small bathroom across the hallway from a dining room which is separated from the kitchen at the back of the house by another half-wall. The decor is decidedly sparse - white walls, beige carpeting in the living and dining rooms and down the hall, unremarkable vinyl in the foyer and kitchen.
A used couch and a pair of recliners are grouped around a coffee table in the living room, with a foursome of wooden chairs claiming the bump out for quieter conversation. The dining room boasts a white laminate table with four aluminum and vinyl-upholstered chairs - too new to be 'vintage', too old to be trendy. The appliances and cupboards in the kitchen are new - or at least refurbished to look like it - and a door leads out to the backyard from there.
Up the stairs are a number of empty rooms where anyone affiliated with the sept can crash and an office for private meetings. The Glass Walkers have their own area accessible via a locked door off the foyer. The main doors themselves lead back out to the front porch of the house.

[look Tu (homid)]
The man before you is in his mid to late thirties, and is clearly of South East Asian descent. His skin tone is light brown, though you get the impression that anytime in the sun would darken him considerably. He is average height, though has a small build, which makes him appear smaller than he really is. Enhancing this impression is a seemingly complete lack of body fat anywhere on him. His black hair is very straight, neatly combed forward on his head, the front flipped up in a spiky crown. His face, which is slightly rounded, is well defined with a wide and flat nose giving him an exotic look. His almond shaped brown eyes are quick and lively, brightening his otherwise serious face. He is wearing cologne that has a subtle, clean, scent.
He is wearing tan pants and a short black jacket. Underneath the jacket can be seen a dark red t-shirt with a black A/X written over the chest. He also wears a black watch on his right wrist, with no numbers and a simple set of gold hands to indicate the time.
The last third of his left arm is missing. The end of the arm looks mangled, as if it had been severed uncleanly.

[look Yi (homid)]
Though petite at about 5'4" with a slim, boyish figure, Yi hardly gives off the impression of a helpless, fragile woman. A quiet confidence ripples through her Canton-British accented voice, and every movement she makes marks her as a naturally lithe person. Her hair grows out long and straight, styled dependant on the occassion but usually left to hang naturally.
Yi is one who bears the signs and manner of a hard life on the streets and can be rough around the edges. Thin scars inflicted by some sharp implement cut along parts of her exposed skin, while other particular marks suggest deeper past trauma.
Most of the marks are hidden beneath her clothing that is deliberately picked to be covering and filled with spaces and folds. The layers she wears serve to keep her warm, yet light enough for travel. An oversized, fading yellow-green jacket serves as a shield against the elements. Underneath it, a rather sunny pastel yellow V-neck sweater overlays a grey, thin longsleeve material. Her fading black jeans are baggy, picked out from the vintage store no doubt with a nod towards some attempt at fashion sense. The cuffs fall over scuffed, weathered boots. On occassion, she sports accessories like a black bandanna and a dog's chokechain looped around her neck loosely, tagged on the bottom with a metallic dogtag dubbing her 'Ghost'. Sitting rather stiffly upon her seat, Yi rubs her hands with tense, but idle movements. Having called earlier and her voice even worse in understandability over the phone, the decision to meet face to face was almost a given. Now, she looks upon the Walker elder with a mixture of expectation, and a slight guilt to her eyes denoting her respect for the territory. "What is it you wanted?" cracks the Gnawer's voice, all attempts being made to moderate the effect but to no avail.

The Walker elder takes a sip of coffee out of the white cup he's holding. He glances around, then sets it down on top of a table. Using the same hand which held the coffee, he picks up a small pamphlet from the same table, and holds it out to the Gnawer. "Have you seen the recent changes to the busses in the city?", he asks.

"Who has not?" Yi replies, taking the brochure and grimacing tightly at the blatantly placed glyph of the Dancers on the cover of the pamphlet. "We have one of their jackets." She glances back up to the Walker, brows arching a tic.

A slight widening of the Walker's eyes shows that he was unaware of the jacket, but he makes no toher outward signs. "Well, I'm trying to organize some surveillance of the bus lines. I found out that the ownership of the bus lines hasn't changed, which means the new symbols have some other meaning. I'm thinking it might be a courier or messaging system. I was hoping to get the Gnawers to lend a hand."

Yi tilts her head at the proposal, remaining silent in its wake. Her brows rise a little further up her face, showing her interest in the plans.

Tu reclaims his coffee cup, and sits down across from the gnawer. "I'm thinking they might be using the buses to transport messages. I want to set up surveillance of various stops to see if anything can be learned. Then, maybe, see about riding the buses. The gnawers blend in better, less likely to be noticed."

Yi nods, opens up the pamphlet, and skims its contents again. "But," she inserts, "they travel to Kent Crossing too. FBI and police are everywhere there. Where are you thinking to watch them?"

"Everywhere", Tu says simply. "That's why I need help. If there are areas we can't watch, because of the police, then we'll work around it." He sighs. "I'm open to alternative ideas."

Yi mulls over the idea, eyes shifting this way and that along the tabletop. "We can watch. We can ride them, to see where they go. Check the employees. But it will take much time and people." She looks up again straight at the other newmoon. "What about Roger's video cameras?" She clears her throat as it cracks again.

"I don't know Roger.", Tu says, "But I have a lot of surveillance equipment I'm willing to lend out. Small stuff, that's easy to conceal." He points out the route map on the pamphlet. "We work line to line.", he suggests. "Different times and different days."

Yi sighs softly. "Roger.. the Dreamer. An old friend. And your former tribemate. Jeremy's roommate, too. He had set up cameras all over the city to monitor, at the time. But, I suppose only Jeremy remembers where they are and how they work, now," she explains, lost in the memories of the past for a bit. Then she returns to the present. "And if we find something, we note it and follow after. What are the owners like?"

"I'm still working on some of that. There's a parent organization that owns them from out of state. And somebody who, in turn, owns them. So, I'm trying to find out if there have been any changes in ownership, or other ersonnel, which may be related. The financial stuff is a maze, though." The Walker scratches under his neck with the stub of his left hand. "If watching the busses doesn't reveal anything, we may need to look into the owners more."

Yi nods slowly, rubbing at her chin lightly in thought. "Gnawers can look through downtown." Her eyes peruse the map. "We can start by the Odeon, and the park."

"Well, I'd appreciate it if you can see who else you might be able to get to help. Then you and I can plan the best approach to it all." The Walker offers a small smile. "Anyway, that's all I have."

"Let us use what we have first," Yi says with a bob of her head in agreement and standing up at her chair. "Outside of that, is there anything else?" The question is loaded, a bit testing of the relations between the Gnawer and Walker.

Tu shakes his head, slowly. "No." After a moment he adds, "I know that our tribes aren't on the best of terms here", he admits. "It's not a situation I'm used to. But, I do appreciate you coming to see me."

"Please," Yi waves off with a trickle of squeaking. "Though our tribes are two worlds, we /can/ work together. It is I who appreciate you asking my help." Though polite in exchange, her tone is sincere by all appearances. On that note, she dips her head in farewell and turns to head out.
