The Sept Compound(#2075RAM)
Sweeping branches of trees form a sort of natural roof overshadowing most of this clearing. In the center of the clearing is a fire pit with several old logs polished from use for seats. A stack of firewood is discreetly piled up at the base of an old spruce under a tarp. At the edge of the clearing and extending back a bit into the woods resides a rough wooden structure with a slate tile roof. A stone slab rests off to one side of the clearing in a place of some prominence. The meadowlike profusion of grasses and other plants has an unusually high concentration of brilliant flowers, which attract a number of bees and butterflies. (+view works here)
A faint trail leads off to the east, and a bit north.

Nursing a small fire with bits of firewood, Yi goes about an evening activity of prepping dinner in the form of a small fish. The scaled body glimmers orange in the glow, and the Gnawer fostern hums to herself whilst moving towards the small bunker Basil made months before for the Guardians of the sept to retrieve something.
A dark wolf comes through the trees. His light gray paws pad at the ground as he comes closer to the compound itself. He lets out a chuff of air when he gets closer, allowing Yi to know he approaches.
[look Bloods-Bane (lupus)]
Amber eyes glow from sunken sockets hidden deep within the dark grey fur of this wolf's muzzle. The black tips of the fur itself give the coat a deeper color and blend in with the white deeper in the fur. Large paws pad at the ground with almost silent steps and look as if he had stepped into paint as they are covered with a light grey. The wolf's broad shoulders form down into firm haunches that move over muscled and formed tissue. When his mouth is opened, bright white fangs shine out from pink gums in a mock smile... Or a snarl if you happen to catch him at the wrong time.
Yi glances up and squints into the shadows with the sound of the chuff. Unfortunately, it takes her a while before she makes out enough of the Get galliard's markings to recognize him. "Dillen?" she queries, turning around and stepping about the fire to get closer. "Ah! Dillen, good to see you. How are you?"
Bloods-Bane moves through his forms and into his human form. "Happy happy." He shoves his hands into his pockets and walks forward. "You left a message for me? Been out of it some with the kids and all. Man. The terrible twos sure are."
"Two years old already?" Yi echoes back, surprise coming to her brows. "By Gaia, you have been a busy father then? And here I am, busy getting older." The Gnawer laughs just a touch sardonically, self-deprecatingly. Then she moves on to business, with a motion for the Get to take a seat by the fireside. "Yes, I did leave a message. I thought I should at least pass this one along. Please, sit down."
Dillen moves to sit down and looks to Yi. "What can I do for you? Be good to get back into the swing of things."
Yi sits down as well after checking on the fish. "Since you are packmates with Cole, perhaps you can discuss with him," she notes. "One of his cubs he's claimed, Matthew. His mother..." There's a pause as the fostern considers. "Kaz was told to take care of this problem -- if you want to call it such. His mother is Ronin." She lets this sink in first. And following that, Yi adds, "She killed her husband, who was Get of Fenris kinfolk."
Dillen narrows his eyes. "Oh. Fuck no. That's not good at all." His hands grip in front of him and he holds them, clasped together. "Kaz was told to take care of it? Kill her?"
Yi looks mildly uncomfortable at that question. "That is possible, but, the last I heard we were to bring the Ronin to keep here while Vera decides. However, I am going to ask that if you could discuss with Jamethon, since he is your Jarl, this matter. I know he is my packmate now, but still, it is amongst your tribe regarding that Kin. What I can tell you is that the Ronin was before a Bone Gnawer, which gave Kaz reason to deal with her. Her cub is Fianna, giving Cole reason to give his opinion too. And her crime of killing her Get kin husband... gives your tribe reason to say something as well."
"Jesus. What was this, potluck garou?" Dillen runs a hand through his hair. "Yeah. We got something to say. Have you talked to James about all of this? Or are you wanting me to drag her ass in here?"
Yi holds up a hand to pause the Get there. "I just want to hear your opinion, Dillen. And I have not talked to Jamethon about it yet because I will be in need of searching for a few Garou to take my place here in guarding the Bawn, if I do accompany Kaz to hunt down the Ronin."
"My opinion? Bring her ass in. She killed a Get. I want to know why before I mash her face into the dirt and shit down her throat." Dillen leans back and folds his arms across his chest.
"That," Yi answers, "is because her husband was trying to deceive her by having the Get of Fenris Jarl of whatever sept she was from claim Matt for their own. She found out about his trick."
Dillen narrows his eyes and shakes his head, "And that is grounds to kill him? I don't think so!"
Yi shakes her head slowly too, eventually standing to check on the fish. "She was perhaps already Ronin, seeing as she wanted her cub to be one like her. And Ronin do not follow the same rules as we do," she considers quietly, though not approvingly. "And she is ahroun, if not a little crazy already. Just look at what she did to her cub, and her other children."
"Other children?" Dillen questions. "Matt is the one the Fianna took in. The one who cannot get along with the walker?"
"I've heard about that, yes," Yi confirms with a nod. "They call him Lost-and-Found. He is a little... well, he does try to please." There's a rather vague string of sympathy, but it's tempered by a distance placed purposefully in her tone. "I was going to ask you to find Cole or Kaz, or perhaps they have already spoken, about what this may mean for Matt. The other children were Kinfolk, I am told. I do not know what became of them, besides that they were taken to the Walker house."
Dillen nods as Yi speaks and he runs a hand through his hair. "Yeah. Yeah. I can do that. Will do." He looks to the moon and blows out a low breath. "I will check on that and get back to you. Right now... Gotta get back home to the kids and wife."
The Get isn't the only one feeling the moon, and Yi especially looks relieved to be off the topic when it does come around. She nods slowly, and tries out a faint smile at the galliard. "Thank you," she tells him. "And say hello to your wife and children for me."
"Will do. And you take care." Dillen gets to his feet and gives a wave. "I will check back in soon." He melts into lupus and heads off into the woods.
